Steve SR called me back within 10 minutes and answered all of my questions about the Jeep. He let me know we could come and look at it and test drive but we could not take it until the part needing replaced was installed a few days later. We test drove the day after calling and loved it. We returned once the new part had been installed and purchased it. We did end up having some electrical issues with the Jeep. Steve JR told us to bring it back and they would take care of it. There was another trip back for the same intermittent problem a week later. They went above and beyond to remedy all issues. Also the original ad did say there was a backseat bench. But after looking at the Jeep, there was no backseat. They are outsourcing one for us for the issues. I'm sure it will be arriving soon :-) We would highly recommend purchasing a Jeep with these guys! They have excellent communication and beautiful Jeeps.

I was looking for a Rubicon for my dad and I to off-road with. VRS Autos got us set up in a Jeep that was completely ready to go. Had over 10k of mods on it including several different roof tops, xrc fenders, upgraded lighting and they got us a deal on new tires. They were easy to work with, honest, and they care about there vehicles. They went above and beyond giving us an hour of training on how to use the sway bar disconnect and the locking differentials. Our tank was filled up and we were on the road! We took it out on the trails already and it was better than we even imagined.

We scheduled it with our mechanic for later in the week, and on day three, the fuel line blew while my husband was driving it- spewing diesel fuel all over the truck and highway! He drove it straight to our mechanic, who said it was a hazard to even have on his lot- and recommended NOT going through with the purchase. Not only did they try and talk our mechanic into fixing it so they could "force us" to keep it (after we called and said there's no way we would buy it in this condition), but he kept our downpayment to pay for the piece of junk to be towed back to the dealership! When we called them about them giving us our money back, based on our agreement, the owner said he would refund only the difference it took to fix and tow, since they had to pick it up just south of Salem. THIS WAS NOT THE ARRANGEMENT WE MADE! We are now out over $1,000 from this whole ordeal. Oh... and almost 3 months later, still waiting for our "difference" check! These people are completely dishonest, and lack any kind of integrity, responsibility to the consumer, or good business practice. STEER CLEAR!

The guy who helped us, Clint was a pretty OK salesman. He spoke a little too much about "Obama's old America" and politics, but I was able to tune it out. The car was in really good shape, but they said that a piece of the muffler was damaged. My fiancé also noticed a missing cap on the tire. 2007 4Runner, 77k miles. Owned in New York. (Yes, salt damage underneath is imminent, we know) He was in love with it but I suggested he think on it. He decided not to.. The entire time Clint was not pushy. He was eager to make the sale, but not in an aggressive way at all. The owner (a foreign gentleman) of the shop on the other hand... wow. He was a little odd. At one point, another salesman was helping a customer and the owner had to step in to assist, the salesman went to speak and the owner goes "I'm handling this? Aren't I? Get the fuck of here." He then looked at the customer and said "These guys.. I own this shop!" I was a little taken aback. My fiancé was approved but the down payment was HIGH. They said it was due to his credit (his credit was fine). He paid $1200 down. I found this odd and pushed back, but they said there was nothing they could do. Now here's where it got hairy.. We were there on a Sunday, I knew that meant they were basically pre-approving him. I was really scared they would call Monday and the deal would get all sorts of screwed... I've bought cars before but this was my fiances first experience so I wanted to make sure they didn't prey on that. I made sure they knew I was educated, firm and sensible. I honestly think my attitude helped so much with how they treated us. I also made sure that the owner wrote up a document stating they would fix the muffler and replace the wheel cap and if they couldn't they would pay $45. Monday comes, my fiancé gets a call that he needs to come sign more papers. Nothing more, nothing less. But I was worried, so I went with. Yeah, they told him he actually wasn't approved for $1200 down. He'd either need to pay another $1200, or lose the car. I was FURIOUS. Why hadn't they said that on the phone!? Why did they make it seem like we were a-ok on Sunday? Oh I raised hell. The owner agreed to a payment plan for the additional $1200, which he honored. 5 months later, the car is great. They never did reach out about the muffler or cap, but my fiancé got them fixed on his own. I waited to write this review to see if the car full on took a crap, they tried to pull anything else... etc. But so far we are very happy with the car. I honestly think we just got lucky though. I would be wary of this place.

She got excited. We looked up some on carguru and Platt came up in our search. Their place was few miles down the road so we went down thinking we'd be turned away. Peter was more than happy to accommodate. He let us test drive a couple different models including a Bolt. It really opened our eyes to these vehicles. He talked with us after the test drives and was happy to answer questions, give advice and info on all types of EV's (this was after close mind you). We weren't quite ready to purchase a car yet so we left. Peter's non-pushy attitude and kindness stuck with us. About two months later we decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't think of any other place to look for an EV. We had a list of options we wanted and Peter accommodated us and pulled a bunch of cars from their list. We test drove a couple AWD Nissan Aryia Engage+ e-4orce and really liked them. We went ahead and purchased one. It was a lease return with 15k miles. The EV was in great condition and the price was right. They were generous with our trade in and all the paperwork was very swift. I think we were out of there in under 2 hours. We highly recommend Platt Auto if interested in an used EV. You wont be sorry. They have a lot of different models to choose from.
