The first time I came to McLoughlin I wasn't even certain if I would need to purchase a vehicle because I was still waiting on a final decision from the insurance company. I came on site with my girlfriend on a Saturday night. I was greeted by Alicia. I explained the situation to her. Some salespeople, seeing it was going to be a no-go for the night as far as selling, might have just answered a couple of questions and let me browse when I said "I'm not buying tonight because (then tuned out the rest)" or hard-sold trying to close a deal before I would have been in a position to say "yes." Not Alicia. She took the time to listen to my story, to what I would be looking for in a vehicle, and even took the time to test drive not one but two vehicles with me, the ones I initially expressed interest in, and the Equinox EV I eventually bought. I have dealt with the car purchasing process a few times and have always sworn by Reynolds GMC in West Covina, CA as my go to because their sales people have always treated my family well. McLoughlin is the only dealership I have ever had a similar experience at, and I felt as comfortable there as I do at my home dealership. Alicia made sure to stay in touch with me as I went through the claims process and also updated me on inventory. Her strength is that her approach is to inform, not sell, at least with me. So there was no question, when my settlement came in and I was ready to buy, who I was buying from. David in finance who also handles things like licensing and permitting has also been great. Because I am a California resident it meant I had to pay California sales tax based on my residence county, a fact I knew beforehand. David was able to get answers for me and handle the entire process flawlessly while also giving me me a lot of information about the financing process, my loan, and how I might be able to get additional incentives and rebates to help pay for my EV. He has also made sure that my vehicle is both registered in California and legally temporarily permitted in Oregon until I go home since it was going to be about a month before I went home. I wanted to make sure I wrote this because just today I had a question about extending my temporary permit since I have not received my California documentation yet and he took the time to respond on his day off. Above and beyond. The folks at McLoughlin took my out of state accident disaster and turned it into an incredibly enjoyable car buying experience. I appreciate the attentiveness and professionalism I have experienced. I hope I never have to buy a vehicle in this sort of circumstance ever again, but if I do, I hope it's in Oregon because I know McLoughlin Chevy, especially Alicia and Dave, will take care of me.

Even over east of the mountains. Finding less than 5 total of the cars we were seeking. Plenty of Mercedes of other colors and the smaller types. In early on we did find one just exactly what we wanted at Cascadia Motors...problem being my husband called and asked "RYAN" questions on an off day I guess that pushed a wrong button for them both. When my husband hung up the phone he grumbled, cussed up a storm and said he would not buy a thing from that man as he was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Now being in marketing business ourselves lifelong (not cars) my husband should totally get off days and put up with customers like my husband! We continued our search, finding one other. Always asking the important question DOES EVERYTHING WORK. Being told yes we made the 3 1/2 hr trip to discovery not everything did work therefore the Mrs. said NO making the man of the house less than amused by now. Reminding the wife that little things could be fixed but I held my ground and we made the drive home. Cars are only shown by appointment .Luck was on our side, and the fact that most do not want a car that eats gas like we do .COMFORT ALWAYS FIRST IN OUR HOME We arrive and are met by a well dressed handsome young man that opens the car door and walks away...I yell to him WAIT COME BACK HERE.STOP... If you are looking for a SALES MAN you will NOT FIND ONE AT CASCADIA .They are they to SHOW CASE CARS THEY DON'T SELL CARS .So if you go there to be SOLD on a CAR FORGET IT. NOT PUSHY AT ALL. They simply say here is the car and walk off. Not like any car lot I have ever been to .The others run at you like vultures ready to gobble you up! He even showed us listings for vehicles at other dealerships so we could compare and contrast and be sure we were getting the best deal. Ryan made the paperwork signing as straightforward as possible and explained every single charge, nothing came as a surprise or was glossed over. Every possible benefit and drawback to the vehicle was explained to us clearly so we could make an informed decision. Buying a car is the kind of experience I normally dread, but this one was completely pleasant. I cannot recommend this dealership enough!

She got excited. We looked up some on carguru and Platt came up in our search. Their place was few miles down the road so we went down thinking we'd be turned away. Peter was more than happy to accommodate. He let us test drive a couple different models including a Bolt. It really opened our eyes to these vehicles. He talked with us after the test drives and was happy to answer questions, give advice and info on all types of EV's (this was after close mind you). We weren't quite ready to purchase a car yet so we left. Peter's non-pushy attitude and kindness stuck with us. About two months later we decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't think of any other place to look for an EV. We had a list of options we wanted and Peter accommodated us and pulled a bunch of cars from their list. We test drove a couple AWD Nissan Aryia Engage+ e-4orce and really liked them. We went ahead and purchased one. It was a lease return with 15k miles. The EV was in great condition and the price was right. They were generous with our trade in and all the paperwork was very swift. I think we were out of there in under 2 hours. We highly recommend Platt Auto if interested in an used EV. You wont be sorry. They have a lot of different models to choose from.

I actually went through Credit Acceptance (I've heard some terrible things but I knew what to expect) to see if there even was a glimmer of getting a car loan with my damaged credit. My information got sent to three different dealerships and only two seemed to contact me. Seaport and Gresham Toyota. Still working with Toyota, although I doubt I'll have good news. Anyways, the guy I ended up working with was pretty laid back and was kind enough to listen to my needs and provide some feedback on what I wanted. Fair. But when it came to my credit, I was told I needed some additional proof of income and a down payment. I accept that. So I'll probably be back unless something else comes up. The slightly disappointing thing about the whole experience was that I was told that there was no catch and was also told that there was an approval. I knew it wasn't actually technically true considering they had yet to run my credit. But at least I was able to confirm that I'd have to work a little more before I could get approved. Just felt like I could have saved a little time and gas though.

Steve SR called me back within 10 minutes and answered all of my questions about the Jeep. He let me know we could come and look at it and test drive but we could not take it until the part needing replaced was installed a few days later. We test drove the day after calling and loved it. We returned once the new part had been installed and purchased it. We did end up having some electrical issues with the Jeep. Steve JR told us to bring it back and they would take care of it. There was another trip back for the same intermittent problem a week later. They went above and beyond to remedy all issues. Also the original ad did say there was a backseat bench. But after looking at the Jeep, there was no backseat. They are outsourcing one for us for the issues. I'm sure it will be arriving soon :-) We would highly recommend purchasing a Jeep with these guys! They have excellent communication and beautiful Jeeps.

I was looking for a Rubicon for my dad and I to off-road with. VRS Autos got us set up in a Jeep that was completely ready to go. Had over 10k of mods on it including several different roof tops, xrc fenders, upgraded lighting and they got us a deal on new tires. They were easy to work with, honest, and they care about there vehicles. They went above and beyond giving us an hour of training on how to use the sway bar disconnect and the locking differentials. Our tank was filled up and we were on the road! We took it out on the trails already and it was better than we even imagined.
