It has been years since I wrote this review and I am STILL PAYING to fix the work done by Family…read moreand Implant Dentistry. I've also subsequently heard that the dental staff have quotas, which makes so much sense now that I think back on how they told me I needed crowns on teeth that weren't bothering me at all. I ended up finding a really great office in town that had to do some of the repair work before I moved out of town, Dr. Richard Woodard.

I would never recommend this place. Dr. Hungerferd was my dentist. His bedside manner was abrupt…read moreand unfriendly. I had to get a crown done and he hit a nerve. Rare thing to happen. It was excruciating pain that lasted 10 days at two injection sites. For a total of 45 days I had an additional muscle pain deep inside the injection site. It was honestly worse than childbirth. Childbirth was done in 24 hours. I can understand it is an uncommon thing to happen but I called him several times regarding the pain and never got return calls. He later said he always returns phone calls and he didn't get the message. I went in twice for the pain and was told nothing they could do except pain killers. I said no and thank god or I would be addicted. There was no calls to check on me ever. I always had to initiate. It was a terrible time for me because I was doing all of my own research frantically trying to find a way to reduce the pain with no help. I took tylenol around the clock...and would always wake up every 4 hours. My friend was a dental asst and she told me warm compresses might help. I did and it helped. As a cherry on top I got two cankor sores one the size of a dime. Sad to say in comparison it was a blip on my pain meter. When I confronted dr. Hungerferd for the lack of educational materials and just care he said the amount of Tylenol I was taking indicated it was not severe pain. I assured him my pain threshold was high as evidenced by taking one pill after my impacted wisdom teeth were cut out and taking nothing after a breast biopsy with stitches. All I was looking for was an apology or empathy not excuses nor minimizing my experience. Long story...45days... I read tmj can be caused from pain after a dentist and can be helped by a chiropractor. I found one and after a few sessions and exercises and heat the pain gradually left. I would have paid 10,000 or all the money I had if anyone could have helped me Finale..finished with another doctor in house. The bridge crowne, sad to say, didnt fit right and I can't eat on that side. 5,000 wasted. He was a nice guy though and good bedside manner.

ZERO stars. One of our family members previously made an appt here last year. We were new to the…read morearea. This year we tried to schedule again. The receptionist, Sharon, wasn't willing to go the extra-mile and send over paperwork until requested to do so. She also asked, based off of hearing our insurance, if we work for Dillon's. Umm, don't assume things about people. Then, she wanted us to "search for forms" to fill on their website. Umm, no. We're calling in to make an appt at your office, bringing you business. Obviously, this is not a free service, we/our insurance is paying. So could you just do your job as you're paid for? It's not that hard. It's understandable that anyone can have a bad day and honestly, we're all busy. However, after getting her to send us the paperwork, when we responded that we no longer could keep the appt, she called us back the following week, asking if we'd like to reschedule. When we said there were things we cannot move to make an appt at this time, Sharon hung up on us. Shame on you. Save your time & money, there are other dentists' offices who are truly professional -- definitely give this one a skip!

I hate going to dentist and being lectured about not brushing/flossing enough. Not saying they didn't suggest that, but from the beginning I felt like they were there to help support my needs. The thing that stands out to me from every dentist is their organization. The first dentist office that I've been to that they use radios to communicate, but it is very efficient. They have a picture of you on file so when you walk in for your appointment they basically call you by name. Most doctor/dentist send a reminder a couple days before the appointment, which they do too. But they also send you another reminder an hour before the appointment, which for someone like me is very helpful.
