I'm very nervous about having to switch to another insurance company because I really hope I can stay wtih the same dentist. Since I started going there, I haven't had any qualms. I've done the regular cleaning. The dental hygienists always seem to 'remember' who I am and some things about me, which gives the place a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The fact that it's in a fairly new building makes it look appealing. I've tried their massaging chair in the waiting room and it was fun! I got three of my wisdom tooth taken out without much hassle. The first time I did, when I got home, I thought something went wrong and I called in just before they were closing, but they waited for me to get there, so they can have a look at it immediately. Turned out it was just me giving myself a scare. The point is that, they didn't make me feel silly for being so worried. I hope I will be able to stay with them for as long as I need a dentist. read more

I have been going to this dental group for a couple of years and think all the staff there are great. Emily is my dental hygienist and she is fun, personable, and does a thorough job. There is even a tv to keep your mind occupied while getting a cleaning. I have always been in and out within a reasonable amount of time. The reason why I give them 4 stars and not 5 is the fact they have a policy requiring new patients that haven't had a cleaning within 1 year to attend 2 appointments, not 1. The first appointment is to see the doctor and also gauge how long it will take to clean your teeth. I assured them that even though it was over a year since my last cleaning, I keep excellent care of my teeth but they still required me to attend 2 appointments. I thought it was a great inconvenience and I almost used a different office. In the end I am happy I chose this office. After the first set of appointments, my experience couldn't be more positive. read more

My entire experience has been excellent, I can't think of a single negative thing. The ADA staff has always made my visit a positive one, and even caught a small issue with my teeth once during a routine cleaning. In my second visit to ADA, for a cleaning, the dental hygienist noticed that I had a very small on the inside of my back teeth. I was able to get this repaired early, if it would have been later the process would have been more difficult. This experience tells me that the staff at ADA is caring and has attention to detail, which is congruent with the rest of my experience. read more

I had a great experience at Advanced Dental Arts, which is something I've never said about any other dental office. Every person in the office was kind, courteous, and professional. I have very high anxiety about dental visits, and the people here made me feel more comfortable than I have ever been in a dentist office. The hygienist did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable during my cleaning. I also had to have a cavity filled, and the dentist was amazing. Not only was he fast and efficient but he was very kind. He sat with me and talked to me while waiting for my mouth to numb. I don't have any problem with the work or staff it's great. I only have a problem with them being an in network provider through the military. If your spouse or kids need to see a dentist don't go unless you want to pay a large upfront fee along with having to wait almost a month before the claim check is received for them to reflect what MetLife is only paying them otherwise you'll be paying another large upfront fee for any additional work that needs to be done. read more

This place is awesome! They book two months out for a cleaning bc this place is so popular. Here's why! The staff is so very nice. They have two full body massage chairs in a separate little waiting room! They are always very prompt with the appointment start time. They have state of the art equipment and excellent dentists and dental hygienists. I had a very tiny chip in my front tooth and they used a specialised microscope to do the work with to see the minute detail. Not a common piece of equipment in a dental office! They did a fantastic repair job, now It looks better than my natural tooth did! I drive 30 minutes each way for appointments here. Last but not least there was a box full of huge homegrown veggies in the lobby last summer with a sign urging people to take some. What?! Omg I could go on and on about this place. Try it! Very nice office! Loved Aaron, the treatment coordinator/dental assistant/jack-of-all-trades. I saw Dr. Wymer, and was pleased with him as a provider. My appointment took longer than it probably should have because Dr. Wymer got tied up with an unexpectedly complicated procedure in another operatory. But I've seen that happen often, so I didn't feel terribly put out. Couldn't get a cleaning appointment for a few weeks out because of my schedule, so I will update my review then! read more

Dr. Errol and his team are amazing! I think the best thing is that Dr. Errol gives pain free shots! He took his time, making sure that I was comfortable. Their chair side manner was comfortable and friendly. There was no up-sell, and I really felt that they cared about me, not just the money I could bring into their practice. Speaking of money, the front desk gave me a printed estimate of the costs and it came back a couple of dollars cheaper! There is a massage chair in the office waiting room, in a darkened annex, for those who need a little relaxing before or after a visit. We've been to three other dentist offices in Manhattan and have had the better experience with this office all the way around. We've had good and frustrating experiences with this office. Some of the frustrations may have been out of their control and some may have been poor planning. Honestly I would give this place 5 stars except I really hate going to the dentist so no visit is going to be 100% for me...BUT since I have to go to have healthy teeth, this is definitely the place I recommend to EVERYONE!! This is the best dentist I've ever been to!!! I wish I could leave 100 stars. First of all, the waiting room is fully equipped with massage chairs to comfort those nervous patients. They're even great for catching a quick nap. There was plenty of toys in the waiting area for my small children. The staff is so completely amazing! I can't think of enough nice things to say about them! Due to medications I was on in previous years, my teeth had a LOT of damage so I was in there quite a bit. Now that I'm done, I actually miss the place. My teeth look and feel amazing and I barely had any pain during the procedures. If you don't go to this dentist, you should. I went to them to get a good bit of dental work. I had a consultation with them about what the price would be, they broke down cost and gave me a total. I had to take out a loan to get it done, then was informed half way through that I was misinformed of the cost and was charged incorrectly on a visit. So after taking out a loan I was then left with egg on my face. They said they would talk about the mistake with their boss and get back to me. Before I left on my last appointment I made a payment that would take my remaining balance with them to 0. That was December, and til today I have had 0 word from them. Today I get a bill from them for $134. I was told I had no money due to them, I was told I would hear back about how they would remedy their mistake, and none of that is apparently true. I would not recommend them to anyone. They have put me in debt, and my teeth still aren't to level that I was told they would be. read more

I don't normally write reviews but in this case I have to...I went here when living in Manhattan and about had a heart attack when the dentist told me I had 7 cavities. I was mortified-how on earth did I have so many cavities? They told me it was because I didn't make regular appointments throughout my pregnancy and bam now I had 7 to deal with. I made an appointment to take care of the first three but after feeling so much discomfort with the first three I never went back to get the remaining 4 filled. Then after having such a bad experience I put off going to the dentist for over two years but finally bit the bullet and went to my new dentist right outside of Denver. I went in expecting to have a lot of work done because I had 4 cavities that I knowingly didn't get fixed only to hear the dentist say that my teeth looked really good and that I had NO CAVITIES! I can not believe that I was lied to at advanced dentist art in Manhattan and now I question whether the three I had worked on were even real cavities to begin with. Stay far away from this place-I can't believe the dishonesty-all to make a buck. read more

My wife and I elected to forgo dental insurance in 2018 since we had no significant dental issues. We wanted to get basic exams and routine cleaning for a reasonable price and Advanced Dental Arts offered a program with an exam and two dental cleanings for each of us for a total cost of $550. My wife went to her appointment and paid that amount. During the exam, the dental hygienist maintained that my wife needed a deep cleaning to treat 'below the gum line' issues. This procedure consisted of several additional visits and an additional cost of $640 - OVER AND ABOVE THE MONIES ALREADY PAID! She told the hygienist she just wanted a routine cleaning on this visit and would consider a deep cleaning in the future. The dental hygienist REFUSED to provide the routine cleaning even though my wife had paid for that service. When I arrived for my appointment, my wife explained the situation to me and I informed the receptionist that we had paid for a routine cleaning and that is what we wanted. The receptionist informed me that they would NOT perform that service despite our payment. We asked to escalate the issue to management and the result was a dental hygienist came out to the waiting room and tried to convince us that my wife needed the deep cleaning. I told them we only want the routine cleaning and twice the receptionist loudly proclaimed, "don't you want what is best for your wife?" After making no progress on the situation, it became clear that there was no way we would get the service that we had paid for and needed to pay an additional $640 for a deep cleaning. We refused to do that, and the receptionist got us a refund check for our $550 (for both our treatments) and charged us $150 for my wife's exam. The staff made no attempt to apologize for their inflexibility nor for publicly ridiculing my commitment to my wife's health. While I do not dispute that my wife may benefit from a deep cleaning, the refusal to provide an already-paid-for routine cleaning and adamant insistence that we had to pay an additional $640 for unwanted treatment is exceptionally poor customer service. read more
