I called Dave to come out and look at what I wanted him to cut down. He showed up on time to look at the job. I had 2 other companies come out to give me an estimate, and Dave beat them both by $2000 each. He wanted $1000. I said great you got the job. It involved 2 tree's. And they weren't growing in my yard. I just wanted him to remove the branches only that were hanging over my yard. He had his man stop before finishing both trees, and wanted more money. Unfortunately I was ill and paid him cash before he finished the job. They left without finishing the job. They left my yard a mess, with branches all over my yard and driveway. I'm going to see, an attorney, to see if I can get my money back. This guy be treating people the way he does. Please don't give this guy your business. read more

This is by far the worst room service in it's industry. They employ illegal immigrants and pay them very little. They also hire day laborers and refuse to pay them for any time they worked for. The work is shoddy at best and the owner is someone you wouldn't associate with EVER! Save yourself the headache of their bloated costs and added fees. You're better off doing it yourself. read more

Won't even give them a star. But had to to give this review! Had them cute down several trees and where to come back and grind the stumps out. Called over and over again to get them to come out. Said they would and never showed. Finally got a hold of them and was told we are just going to send you a refund for the 2 stumps not getting grinding out. Not very professional. I recently hired Dave to remove a tree for me. I was impressed when he told me he would be bringing a crane and a man bucket. However, when it came time to drop the biggest and most technical of the limbs Dave opted to not use his crane. He instead rigged the limb with rope, the moment's leading up to the cut were hectic and panicked, very unprofessional. So the tree limb came down, it crashed into his inactive crane and then into my house taking out the power lines and a light post in the driveway. Dave's Tree service is a joke, they don't know what they are doing. Don't be fooled by his fancy equipment, hire someone else! After we repaired everything, I called Dave to have him come pick up the remaining balance, he was offended when he didn't receive the amount that he thought he deserved. He acted like a child and swore and cussed at us. Please do yourself a favor and hire a different tree company! read more

Don't hire this company. I'm just going to save you some time and frustration. Look through the 11 "not currently recommended reviews" below, they're accurate. Completely unprofessional and also creepy. Wants cash for the job, provided no sort of contract or receipt like a legitimate business would do. Pulled away leaving a ton of wood across my front lawn and onto my neighbor's also. Promised me someone was en route to remove the wood around 1pm. Called around 4 since they never showed up and was told the wood would absolutely be removed that same day. We had a tornado hit and Dave was walking the neighborhood handing out his business card within minutes. I thought gee this guy has initiative I will give him a chance. He came out the next day gave us a verbal estimate and we needed a written estimate for our insurance. He promised to drop it off later that day. The next day when we didn't have the estimate I called and he informed me he was busy. I said that really is not my problem as the adjuster could not come out to assess the damages until the trees had been removed. Before I could say another word he said get someone else and hung up on me. How unprofessional is that! We had been thru a trauma, live wires damage to our home and out buildings. Do NOT recommend. I schedule an appt. for them to come out and look at a tree in my yard and give estimate. They were 30 minutes late so I had to leave and go to another appt. They had the nerve to scold me for not being there when the guy showed up -- even though they told me in advance the guy could do the estimate w/o my being there. Could not be more disappointed. Dave came out and gave me a quote saying he could come out and cut down a tree in our front yard. He said he needed to be paid in cash so we went to the bank and took out the cash prior to his arrival. Furthermore he said that he needed all the cars on the section of our street moved so I went to all of my neighbors and and personally asked them all to not park in front of the house the scheduled morning. The tree company did not show up and I was told they might be there at noon. I was not happy and said that I had scheduled my day around their stated time. I was told that that he "wasn't dealing with someone like me" and then hung up on. I can only suppose is was because I had an expectation of prompt arrival as I was inconveniencing all of my neighbors by blocking a large section of the street parking and I had other places to be later in the day. He said I didn't have to be there but I can't imagine not being at the house in case something happened...not to mention how does he intend to get paid if I am not here to pay him. read more

Do not use this service! I had a tree fall on my house and they took full advantage of the emergency situation to cheat me. They overcharged on everything. They had me sign an incomplete contract. I still have debris on my lawn from 3 months ago. They left me fire wood that only a giant could move. Logs that are so huge two grown men must roll them out of the way.
