I used this business twice with no problem. However, the 3rd time I asked for their help on a day…read morethat was posted online that they work certain hours and certain days they were quite angry and unreasonable with me. I apologized and even offered to pay $ for any work done. So due to their lack of transparency and being disrespectful when i was the one that really didn't need to apologize at all because he essentially lacked the good trust and faith to see that the online business information was truly to blame. So, no i am not recommending this business to anyone I know or any other business owner. I just don't want anything like what happened to me to happen to anyone else. The second time I had the conservator of my deceased parents estate pay him. Maybe it wasn't fast enough- who knows? That's why I tested the waters by offering to pay him $. But still no response. Childish, really, I think. So I have since moved on and hired others with no red flags drama.

Our kitchen and family room needed painting and repair desperately. We had read reviews of Paragon…read morePainting on Next Door and the business had checked all the boxes of what we wanted. Craig, the owner came and spent a long time going over inspecting what needed to be done and what we wanted done. It was a real pleasure dealing with a true professional. The process of having Paragon Painting and electricians working together while doing the job was seamless. Craig the owner of Paragon Painting & Wallpaper checked on the crews progress frequently and made suggestions for them to implement. The attention to details was so refreshing. Jose one of the crew came on time, protected areas which were not going to be painted. Jose like Craig the owner was professional and meticulous in his prep and painting. Our garage was used to store the paint and supplies and everyday it was left neat and tidy.He was a pleasure to have in our home. Craig and Jose worked together well and never rushed thru ,If the mud needed more time to dry, it was dried before proceeding on that particular area. Our project wasn't interrupted with going to another job, showing up late, needing to go to the store for supplies etc. Craig has the highest standards of professionalism for himself and only hires employees who can meet them. You will be very pleased with Paragon Painting & Wallpaper for your big and small projects. I know I sound like an ad but I am just a homeowner who is 5 star happy with the results.

I have been putting off leaving this review but I do feel it is necessary. First off I had written…read morea review approximately 10 months ago, which was a good review for some " Handyman work" Florberto had done for us. I do not doubt that he is a good handyman. The problem I had was when Florberto was here he had pointed out to me the rotting wood around the exterior front window of our home and that he could fix it. Being naïve that I was and not realizing that a license contractor should do a job like this i hired him. A few days went by when he was here and I noticed sheet rock chunks breaking off of the interior wall because of all the hard pounding he was doing which was concerning. I ordered a window (per his advice) to replace the one around the wood rot and he told me to call him when the window comes in so I assumed he had finished what he could do until that time. About a day later, I had another Handyman come to put up a barn door and he pointed out to me that I was going to have a huge problem because it was in the forecast to rain for the next five days and he showed me the open spaces all around the window where the wood rot had been. I found out that Florberto had taken some of the wood rot off and left everything completely exposed and with the rain coming it was going to be soaking into the interior walls and cause even more damaged than there was before. I was shocked that he left everything unfinished. I ended up having to hire, which I should've done in the first place a licensed contracting company who had to take everything that he had done off because it was done incorrectly, and correct his mistakes and then do the job. It cost me $9000 which because of the rain there was only so much we could do to protect the exposed openings all around the window until the contractors could start. This was a big lesson for me and Florberto should never have started something that first off he is not licensed to do and I believe he got in way over his head.If he would have just been honest with me and let me know that we needed to get somebody to fix everything it would've definitely saved me some money and stress. I have posted some photos of how he left the job. Luckily, I had not paid him much even though I not realizing until the contractors got here how poorly the work he did was.
