Although I don't have a child of my own, most of my friends do. Sometimes, when we meet up, they bring their young ones with them. That's really not an issue with me because I'm used to kids but these little rascals can make a scene when they're not doing anything.
A great solution that my friends have come up with is to bring their kids to Dave's Fun House at the third level of Glorietta while we're checking out our favorite comic shop next door. Although this fun house is smaller than the one in SM Megamall or North Edsa, the kids love it here because it encourages interactive play. Plus, there are also many toys and fun things to do besides pretending to be working in a salon, sliding down a pirate ship, or just playing with the colorful pit balls.
This is a win-win situation for both parents and their kids. For 30 minutes, the kids can play and have something to do, while their parents and I can talk and discuss about the newest comic releases or movies that are yet to hit the local screens. read more
