Was looking for a quick haircut because we were having family over and I was looking rough. I could have went to a big name like I usually do, like Supercuts, and been in and out for $12 plus tip. But I thought maybe I should keep the money in the neighborhood, support small business. I learned my lesson. I walked in and wasn't acknowledged. At all. I sat down. For twenty minutes. My presence was not acknowledged. At all. That is not an exaggeration. There were at least three people employed there; at least, I think. One guy was cutting hair, there was a fat guy sitting in one of the chairs, munching on chips, and a third guy sitting in the corner not doing anything. There was one customer, a lady with two kids (one was getting his cut when I walked in) and for twenty minutes I had to hear her loudly gossip with the fat guy eating chips. None of this is hyperbole. This actually happened. When I saw that I wasn't going to be spoken to and my presence was not welcome, I left. I'm no businessman but it seems to me this is a pretty poor way to run a business. I guess I'll stick w Supercuts.
