When I arrived for my inspection, I was greeted by David, I believe. (There are two guys who run it- Tony and David). Both were very nice and friendly. Since I was waiting for my car, they made sure I was comfortable. They have a TV, comfortable chairs, and a nice bathroom for people who wait. The inspection finished quickly, and unfortunately I needed to replace a pair of shocks. David took me back and showed me the parts that needed replacing, and explained to me what was wrong with them, which I really appreciated. He told me that I could get it repaired elsewhere, and he could reinspect the car, or I could get it repaired there. I chose to get it done there, and he called around to find the parts. He located one that could be at the shop for the next morning, and quoted me just under $400 for the repair. Since my car is a BMW, parts are normally expensive, and I'm pretty sure it would have been at least twice as expensive through a BMW dealer. I came back the next morning, and both Tony and David worked on the repair and got me out of there in about 45 minutes. Two thumbs up for making a failed inspection a good experience! If I lived closer, I would definitely make this my full-time car place. The owners are friendly, helpful, fair, and good at what they do. I'd highly recommend this place!

After waiting all day without any feedback, we finally called to inquire about our older vehicle, a 2008 Mercury Sable, did not due to an issue with a side light. The young lady proceeded to tell us it didn't pass inspection b/c it needed tires, and there was an issue w/a side light, but they were looking for the part. So not thinking it was a major problem, we had requested an oil change and said go ahead with the new tires & fix the side light. The next day rolls around and we're told they can't find the part. The car is old, so we're thinking oh my! We just spent close to $700 dollars for a car we'll have to scrap?! Why would they do the other work if they didn't have a supplier for the side light? Not feeling very confident in their response or expertise, we contacted our mechanic in NJ. Told him the issue, and in less than 3 min (no exaggeration) he knew exactly what we needed and where to get it. When we told him the shop here in MD couldn't find the part he laughed. He told us I guess they've never heard of Amazon. We were going to NJ two days later & swung by to see our mechanic. He pulled up the part on Amazon. Told my husband exactly what to order and said if they couldn't figure it out after that to bring it back to him to fix. The part was $8 bucks! Just shy of $800 dollars later & our $8 dollar part procured via Amazon, the car was back on the road. Alex is a new business operator and knows word of mouth advertising and establishing friendships is pivotal. It's always good to find a "guy" who you can trust to shoot straight and speak honestly on any topic. I found Alex to be my new POC for anything automotive and during the process I feel like I made a friend and someone I would recommend to my family. None of us want to deal with vehicle issues although Moser's Motors can soften the blow. Moser's Motors also has the ability to bail you out with his mobile vehicle hoist and supply truck that honestly, I've never seen such a piece of towable equipment. Alex is prepared when you are least prepared. Give this new business a try!

I had been a happy Forest Hill Car Care customer and Moser's told me they kept the same mechanic…read moreon, so I figured I'd continue to take my car there. Took it in for an oil change at 9:30 AM and said I would be back in about 90 minutes. (they initially said they needed 30 to 45 minutes, so I gave them an hour and a half). They were having a computer problem when I dropped it off. Came back after 90 minutes and my car hadn't even been moved into the bay yet. Two people were still working on the computer issue. I'm a nice person so I was understanding that they had an issue and we're trying to fix it. OK...I'll be back in an hour for it. Came back and the door was locked!! Now I'm MAD. There was a guy standing outside and he asked if he could help me. I said I was back for the second time for my car and he said, wait for it...they're at lunch, can you wait till they come back?!?!? I said no I can't, I need my car. He said he would notify them so I came back after another hour or so, and it was finally ready. Apparently they had no intention of having my car done that morning. No apology or mention of the incident!!!! Un- bleeping believable! Now I have to find a new mechanic when this location was very convenient for me.
