I am very happy. They picked the vehicle up right on time. I was late, my phone was off for whatever reason, and they were super nice about it. They also dropped it off same, right on time. Car is spotless, and they even were able to buff out some damage and get some stains out of the upholstery. Excellent job. Five stars all the way. is not my first time having a car detailed. I am an adult, so I am aware that the upholstery will be wet--he drops it off with paper mats. That is normal. And I also know that with detailing, you've gotta' remove your personal items, or they will end up in the trunk or back of the truck. This is how detailing works. Dave was recommended by a very reliable mechanic in the area. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. I had read some bad reviews on this site but I felt my referral source was more reliable. Honestly, the other reviews seem like they must be for another business. Dave has worked in this business for decades. His employees have been here, some over 25 years. He has no problem with staffing because people like to work there. That says a whole lot about the business itself and Dave as a manager. I found him respectful and honest, going above and beyond. The quality was excellent. He did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and always with respect and professionalism. I can see why fleets bring their company vehicles here. I have worked with many, many businesses as an SBA advisor so I really pay attention to everything and ask a lot of questions. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business. read more

Quick and painless service. First time getting my car detailed and I'll definitely be back. My car looks absolutely brand new.

So I tried out Dave's (without using a groupon) and had a good experience. Having worked in a car detail shop for a couple years, I am picky about detailing but these guys did a good job! I did have to wipe a bit of excess wax off that was missed, but the interior was fabulous. They even did the visor mirrors which I intentionally smudged just before dropoff. I was also happy to see they really cleaned up my aftermarket wheels and applied tire shine. That little bit of extra effort really makes the car POP. This is a busy shop so I left my car overnight so they could have some extra time on it and I an glad I did. Also, I had no issues with customer service. I called multiple times just to check on progress, which can be annoying, and they were very polite each time. Overall I am pleased with this detail shop and will consider using them next time. I had a gift card this time around, but wasn't up charged for anything despite how difficult shampooing my cloth seats probably was. Thanks Daves! read more

I am not quite sure why anyone would give this business one star or a bad rating. I just had my 2020 Dodge RAM truck detailed and waxed by the talented crew at Dave's Auto. I had a few scratches and they were able to buff most of them out. My truck looks superb. This is the second vehicle I have had detailed at Dave's Auto. They also did my 2014 Jeep Patriot and it looks like a new car! My interaction with the owner was always pleasant. He quoted me a fair price and did the job as promised. The employees I talked to were always pleasant and professional. I am am extremely happy with their work and will continue to use them for my vehicles. read more

Brought my truck in on 9/19/2022 for complete detailing. $250.00 package. Left it at 8am and was told it would be ready around 1pm. When I called at 3:30pm, I was told it would be ready shortly. Upon arrival I paid DAVE and then went out to look at truck. It was parked out back, and it was raining. Here is what I found: 1) my floor mats were in the bed of the truck getting completly soaked in the rain. My jumper cables, ( in a case), were found under the mats. Should have been returned to under my back seat where they were. 2) The bed of my truck had not even been hosed out. Still leaves and dirt were in the truck bed. 3) There was a "grease" substance at the bottom of both of my front doors. DAVE said it was anti rust liquid. But when I asked why it was not cleaned during the washing of truck, he told me "his guy" must have missed it. On both sides? It makes me wonder if my truck was ever washed or waxed. ( it is white and always looks clean). They were not small spots, and no way could they have been missed if a proper washing took place. 4) Because my seats (cloth), were still wet when I picked it up, it was hard to tell how clean they were. The next morning, when drier, there were still spots on the seats. 5) Area between the driver seat and console still had dirt in that area. 6) Top of console box had never been wiped clean. 7) Inside console box was still dirty, ( all contents were removed before I brought it in.). I was told the next day, that they NEVER clean inside a console, even though the description in their ad says they do consoles. (Full interior cleaning is advertised right on their office door!) I had to return two times to get everything corrected. (they closed early the second day, even though I was advised to return that day to pick up the floor mats.) On the third day, DAVE and his crew did reshampoo my seats, vacumn again, and cleaned the inside of console. This was a horrific experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. There was never even a real "I am so sorry this happened". I guess he felt it was enough that he fixed the issues, AFTER I pointed them out to him, and had to return two more times, a great inconvenience to me. Go elsewhere, unless you want this type of service. read more

Can I give negative stars..? Let me start by being blatantly honest... This business was built on a foundation of godawful rudeness, which is why I am not shocked by these criminal reviews. First off, when you make an appointment... KEEP IT. Do not tell me you cannot complete my appointment until MID OCTOBER when my vehicle has been parked in your bay for the past 15 minutes. Time is money - obviously this business has no concept of a simple colloquialism. It took no time to drive 409 Cottage Rd and sit there under the impression that "someone would be with me in just a moment"; oh wait it did. Its ok, at least it took no effort to find other means of transportation while my vehicle was being worked on, oh wait... that did too. So not only did they schedule an appointment - break it - waste my time - but wasted everyone else' as well. That being said I guess I owe them a big thanks for wasting my entire morning. read more

Incredible customer service! First time I called it went to voicemail but I got a return call within 15 minutes. When I was ready to make my appointment they were super helpful and made sure I got the detailing package I needed, not the one most expensive. I do recommend having the cash available, their credit card machines were down however the service was quick, dropped it off around 9am and it was done by 2pm. My 2015 Forester looked better leaving their shop than it did when I purchased it last May. I'd definitely take my vehicle there again and I'd recommend them to a friend! read more

Don't waste your money. Missed a bunch of spots in the both in the washing and vacuuming of my SUV. For the amount that I paid, I thought the scrape on my bumper would look a little better, not sure they did more than wash it off. read more

The car detailing was amazing, but the customer services was sad. My Groupon was expired and he refused to honor the price I paid. He was insistent on only honoring the amount he received from Groupon, which was half the amount I paid. He also seem to inflate the price of the service in order to get more money from me. I brought in a 20-year old car that had been handed down to me. I'm fairly certain it had not been cleaned in all of the 20-years it had been with its previous owner, and I actually felt a bit guilty because it was in such rough shape. But the fellas there took it in stride, saying "That's what we're here for." The young man who worked on my car did a marvelous job, and everyone onsite had a terrific attitude. It was a pleasure to do business with Dave' Auto Care, and although I don't imagine the car will ever be quite as dirty as it was before I brought it in, I will surely bring it to them again if it ever needs a thorough cleaning. read more

I made an appointment with Daves and dropped my vehicle off only for a call wondering why it was there. He had never wrote it down and expected me to bring it back a few days later (45 miles away). He did not try to fit it in and told me to deal with it. Was very rude on the phone and eventually ended up hanging up on me. I had to get my money back through groupon because I was not letting this type of buisness touch my vehicle. I could only imagine what type of work they do if they talk to me like they did. Poor cleaning service. I could have done better myself in 20 minutes or less, and would have saved $250. The car was washed, but it was hard to tell if it was waxed. Interior only got a light cleaning. A lot of dirt was left in the car. The owner didn't care at all. Next time, I will read the reviews first. read more

I originally wrote a good review of Dave's. Then I notices a scratch on my mirror that was not there before I brought the car to them. I showed it to Dave. He said he 'remembered' my car and that was there before. "They didn't do it". He claims they work on hundreds of cars per week...however he remembers a scratch on my mirror. He also told me that they have a lot of problems with people using Groupon (I used Groupon). So they offer a discount through Groupon, then insult the customers who use the discount - basically accusing me of lying about an existing scratch in order to get them to pay for a repair. You can tell a lot about the way people do business. The confrontational attitude and the Groupon accusation shows that this business is clearly not worth it....at any price.....STAY AWAY - even if it's FREE. read more

DO NOT GO. I made the mistake of using a Groupon and in this company it is a bad word. When you pay for a coupon you only get half the job done according to the owner because he only gets half the money. When I picked up my car, the interior was not done and i was told he had a new person working on it. Well dont you as the owner have any quality control on what goes out your door? My dashboard was not cleaned, i still had crumbs in my cup holders, and dirt on my doors. Not sure why I paid them so much money when the car wash vacuum does a better job. I wish I had found the other review before I took my car to Dave's Auto Care. We purchased a Groupon for a full interior and exterior detailing. The job was awful. Not even worthy of one star. When I called to tell them how disappointed I was (my husband had to rush over to pick it up and didn't inspect it until he drove away) and asked them to make it right. Dave the owner called me back and said that my car was in terrible condition when it was brought in. Which was completely untrue, it was pretty much the same condition they gave it back to me in. He said that they worked on it all day (a lie). He said that maybe if I had paid full price they would've worked on it longer. I told him I paid $100 for the advertised $250 worth of detailing on Groupon. He refused to make it right and was down right rude to me. I would be hard pressed to think they spent more then 20 minutes on the inside of my car. I'm extremely disappointed, hope this review helps others to not have the same experience. read more

I took my 2001 boat to Dave's for an exterior buff and wax as it's been many years since the boat's been waxed and the outside was very dull and oxidized. When I picked up my boat I was amazed at the job they did, it's super shiny and it practically looks brand new!! Like me, my brother also had a very unfortunate (but common) experience with Dave's Auto Care. His car war also barely cleaned, and he also had some lug nuts missing. Who would take the lug nuts?!! I used a coupon for $99, but then when I went to pick my car up, I was told that I had to pay an extra $50 to get my Nissan Sentra back! Extortion is illegal, right? I also wasn't very impressed with the limited improvement to my car, and the ower (Dave) said that I should be happy to get a $250 job for $99!! I had my Truck detailed. It was ok. I expected better considering the price but i was at least somewhat satisfied. As I drove home I heard a rattle. Once I got home I discovered the fragile plastic Trip Meter Knob had been snapped off a was rolling around inside the gauge cluster. I called Dave and he said bring it over for him to look at. I brought it back next day and he agreed to pay for it once i got him a receipt. I got the repair done at the dealer and brought him the receipt. He didn't have his checkbook he said and would have to mail me a check. Two weeks later no check so I called. Now he is extremely rude to me and says the Book Keeper already mailed it. So I wait another week and no check. I call again and he is even worse this time and says he is not sure his kids broke it or not and i will get the check when i get it if I even get it all and he hung up on me. I am baffled that this establishment is still in business based on how they treat customers. I purchased a Groupon for a car detail service in April in the amount of $99, which was due to expire on 9/14/13. My assistant called to schedule me an appointment on 6/14/13, but didn't know to reference the Groupon. They asked her which day next week she would prefer, and picked Tuesday morning 6/18/13. I showed up at 8:15 with a ride to bring me to work. Before leaving, I mentioned the Groupon, and Dave advised they would not be able to keep my appointment. For Groupon customers, they were booking out to the end of October. They don't receive the funds from Groupon right away, so I would be slotted accordingly. He advised that I take it up with them, and they likely wouldn't be able to help me either. Additionally, I would need to pay an extra $50 fee for my Jeep as referenced in the fine print. I have made several other Groupon purchases, and never experienced this with any other vendor. I am extremely disappointed with the service and unprofessionalism of Dave's Auto. I'm probably lucky I didn't trust them with my vehicle anyway. read more
