The service was completed at 10 am and i was so happy it was done by that time, that i didnt examine the invoice before approving the charge. To be fair, he told me about the services he provided (rotating tires, checking tire pressure) before i signed. What he didnt tell me, was that he also replaced the oil filter, nor did he tell me that he was charging me for the tire rotation. Those extra services cost $86 and change that i didnt plan on. If this place were to provide the service requested, then the prices are fair, but the issue is, i dont want to stick around in a place im just passing thru to argue a charge like this.

My friend suggested Bill and Hank's because it was in walking distance. My other option was a tow to Fresno to a hybrid specialist who couldn't take me for several days, and a rental car, if one was available. I took a chance on Hank's thinking he must work on most kinds of cars being in a community that serves a lot of vacationers. Cutting to the chase: Hank was knowledgeable, had the diagnostic equipment for my car and had the problem taken care of in minutes. He read the codes, saw the car had gotten too hot previous day, cleared the codes saving me a bucket of money. Hank was very patient, kind and I highly recommend this shop. When you're far from home, don't know what's wrong with your car, at the mercy of an honest mechanic, they are ever more greatly appreciated! He told me if he couldn't fix what was wrong, he would tell me and let me find another mechanic. This service has been in North Fork for years. Hank is such a credit and asset to the community.
