Two playgrounds one for the big kids and one for little kids. A giant spinning wheel that can fit multiple kids. There is a giant swing for kids. Very neat park. The park has been newly constructed with new landscaping, and it is a nice quiet location. I bike on Salmon Falls Trail normally and was pretty excited to read about this trail opening and…read morewas finally able to try it on 05/01/11. This trial is an ass kicker. It starts you off with climbing then when your legs are about to fall off....you climb somemore. About an hour of climbing you finally reach the top and you are rewared with a nice view of the South Fork American River with the happy rafters riding down it. Look to your right and you get a really nice view of Salmon Falls bridge and Folsom Lake. Unlike the Salmon Falls Trail you share this one with equestrians so look out as you're flying down that hill. Definitly an advanced trail for mountain bikers. A boy…read moreabout 11 wanted to ride his bicycle in the skate park and I told him that he could not as they are not allowed. He then went home and came back with his 12 or 13 year old sister. She then proceeded to ride her bike, without a helmet, in the skate park. I again told her that she could not as they are not allowed. She came right up to me and challenged me. A boy about 15 who was riding a skate board came to her side and tried to challenge me on whether bikes were allowed......they are not. This park must have parental supervision or a park employee must be there to keep these things from happening again. This is not the first time I have seen bikes in the skate park. I have 2 young grandsons and I will not allow some knot-headed kid endanger them. This needs to be resolved ASAP as a serious injury and lawsuit is coming your way if and when these kids get injured.
