I wanted this package so I wouldn't have to worry about paying for every single thing separately. Gwen assured me when we paid that I would get everything that they have to offer at the ranch. The inclusive package did not include any alcohol, the photographer or the farmhouse tables, and the package at the time only included 80 guests. So it was about $5,000 more that we had to pay for those things not include. Several things started going wrong after we signed the contract. It started slowing, then it all piled up at the end. From when we paid until our wedding date, there was only 4 months to plan my wedding. Gwen did not want to go over actual details of my wedding until 1 month before it. That had me extremely stressed out. Then we met with her and went over details, I was telling her exactly what I wanted, she made no notes as she sat there, but agreed to everything I told her. The week before my wedding she told me the flowers I wanted were too expensive and she couldn't do what I wanted. I told her she agreed to it and had to. Then the day before my wedding she told me that our wedding planner that I had never met would not be able to make it the day of my wedding. This was included in my package. In no way did she reimburse me for this. The day of my wedding nothing was organized. My welcome table was not set up, she had not purchased the sparklers that she was supposed to buy for our exit, so we didn't get to do that, her son was supposed to work the photo booth and book, that was a mess at the end of the night. My wedding did turn out absolutely beautiful BUT the stress and struggle that I had to go through with Gwen was not worth it. I did not get to enjoy my wedding because I was so upset with Gwen. I think Gwen can be very nice when she chooses to do so and she can be a complete b**** when she chooses. The frustrating part is she doesn't care if you're happy on your wedding day, she just wants the money. It's sad this is how she is. I would not recommend getting married here unless you just want beautiful pictures.

I had a DIY budget wedding, and never in a million years did I think I could have my wedding at such a beautiful location. Rami worked with me and we were able to make the ceremony fit in my price range! The week before my wedding, rain was covering the forecast. I though for sure that we were going to have to move my ceremony indoors. Dave and I messaged/called back and forth creating a back-up plan for my wedding. It got to the point where my back-up plan sounded just as beautiful as my outdoor plan - I wasn't saddened by the thought of rain at all! It didn't end up raining, so we got to have our beautiful ceremony outdoors. Dave even saved the leftover flower arrangements from the wedding the day before us in their large refrigerator, and gifted them to us! We would have paid hundreds of dollars for arrangements like those. Not many occasions where your vendor will go out of their way to think about your special day and save/gift things to you. The extra greenery made my ceremony that much more stunning. They also let me use their GORGEOUS bridal suite for a few hours before the wedding, even though it wasn't in our original agreement. They honestly just wanted us to have an amazing day. You could tell they aren't money-driven. They just love what they do. All-in-all, I can't recommend enough. Rami and Dave made my special day more than I ever imagined, and Cielo Estate Winery is stunning.

Wow, it's been like 8 years since I last stayed here. It's been all remodeled since. I was told…read morethat was in 2018! The breakfast area is now all bigger and nicer. The front desk staff was wonderful and got me an early check in as I got done with business early. Beats waiting around in the lobby on my laptop waiting for the room to get cleaned. I got a room as requested and my welcome rewards points were posted right away to my account. MY room was clean and the AC worked well and the WiFi speed has increased since my last stay 8 years ago. No problem streaming and getting work done. OK, now to my complaints. They switched the 24/7 coffee from big dispensing carafes to these new "fangled" self grinding, brewing and pouring out single serving machines. There's a touch screen interface, so if you're a senior citizen that isn't all modern computerized, you might have a problem, verses the old just plain push button and coffee comes out carafe. It takes WWAAAY too long for each cup to be processed and this leads to crowded lines at the breakfast rush. BAAD decision! It's a corporate decision, cause it's the same at all the IHG Holiday Inn Expresses. I can't fill my big coffee pot from the dispenser anymore, I gotta "brew" separate cups and then pour them into my pot that I like to keep in my room as I work. OK, that was my main complaint, the rest of my stay was great.

Came across Eden Vale Inn when looking for a place to stay for a rafting trip with All-Outdoors on…read morethe American River. It's such a cute inn! We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!
