This is a small outlet store attached to the factory. You can't really miss it as you can follow your nose and smell the aroma of bread baking! They do not offer factory tours, although if you peek through the windows you can see the sandwich bread loaves making their way through the cooling towers before they get packaged. They have to cool down a bit or else they will condensate in the bags, making an unpleasant texture and potentially allowing for microbial growth. The lady staffing the store was pleasant and knowledgeable about the products they sell. Definitely worth stopping by!

A small store with a decent selection. Great bread and great staff. They love what they do and love to tell you anything you want to know about the bread. You are able to view the back chilling towers from the store. Good options to choose from. Fresh, to day old, to imperfect loafs. Loaf breads and English muffins and bagels available. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

This review is old, but still important to provide. We found the Dave's Killer Bread outlet one day while visiting Bob Mills. Dave's Killer Bread outlet is located directly across the street. I learned about and began trying Dave's Killer Bread originally through Costco, so finding the original bakery and outlet was a nice surprise. They have a variety of breads as well as items like English muffins. It's a great place to stock up; remember bread freezes well. They also carry a few additional items like local honey, jams, etc. While it is a small shop, they have a huge variety of their bread products to choose from. What I really appreciated was that this store also provides free bread often to those who may not be able to afford such staples of food for their families. They are truly a mission driven organization both in the organizational structure of the company as well as providing and supporting their local community. When you are in the area - do stop in and support them!!

    I'm hooked on Dave's Killer Breads. 03/25/22

Dave's Killer Bread began in 2005, at the Portland Farmers Market when Dave Dahl and his nephew brought some loaves of bread to sell. They knew they had something killer and unique. I totally agree with them. I barely took note of the commercial on television. One day I saw Dave's on the shelf at my local grocery. When I read the label and ingredients I decided I'd give it a try. I decided I wanted the "Powerseed". Let me tell you this bread has made me look forward to breakfast! It so crunchy after I toasted it in the toaster oven. I like it best smothered in peanut butter. It's also great with my liverwurst and mustard sandwich! They have a great website for learning more about their products. You can join their followers on social media @ Breadhead Nation.y

We love Dave's Killer Bread and enjoy our visits to the store. The staff members are always helpful and friendly even when they are busy stocking shelves. One day, we hope the bakery gods bring back Dave's Blue's Bread.

Groceries cost too much today, but TJ's has found a way to have fun while spending. It's almost exciting to walk thru their doors, knowing how absolutely clean, well stocked and and right all the products are. I've almost forgotten to say, what's in the box, can or package is always the best. We are so grateful to have TJ's so close to home now, nestled right between Fred Meyer and Walmart Neighborhood Store, down the road from Safeway, walking distance to Grocery Outlet, where before they opened, we had food from the other stores on our shelves, where now it's almost gone, just TJ's. Don't worry about the cost, always lowest or well worth it, don't worry about having to buy 5 to get the discount, don't concern yourself about getting there on Friday only, none of the games the other stores play are played at TJ's, just games played finding things in the store with your kids or bringing back something you don't like for a refund, yes, full refund if you don't like the fresh sauerkraut, or chips, they have taken away every reason not shopping there. Do it, see why it's our favorite store.

The Trader's here is in a large strip mall with big box stores so parking is never an issue. Inside is big and spacious, bright and clean with wide aisles so you never feel like you are on top of other shoppes. Yes, the cleanliness is because it's new, but the spaciousness is due to the design. Props for that. Well stocked with all the typical Trader Joe's items, as stores are pretty universal. Trader's isn't we here I do all my shopping, but when I'm looking for cheese, crackers and charcuterie items, this is where I go. I also love their affordable bagged salads, sugar snap peas, Persian cucumbers, small curd cottage cheese, and eggs - all affordable weekly purchases. Can always find decent wine at affordable prices, too. When they are offering tastings, I always give them a try and discover something new. And of course the 99 cent greeting cards are a steal! Plus the fresh flowers and plant section not to be missed. currently they have bromeliads which have one single bright orange, red or yellow bloom that lasts for months. I have about a half dozen! While I don't live in this area, when I go to have my car serviced or I'm visiting friends in Oregon City, my car automatically turns into the parking lot. Did I mention the easy ample parking?

In the winter, I'm here for the blood oranges, clementines and pomegranates. In the summer, I'm all about the berries - hoods, blueberries and blackberries - and peaches. Lots of people complained that WF is expensive, but it depends on what you are buying. Their 365 brand sells local products and is very affordable and the items are fantastic. Some that I particularly like are the instant coffee, great for my afternoon iced coffee drink; their pasta is wonderful and they offer many shapes, not just the norms, the cavatelli being one of my favorites; tortilla chips, black beans, Thai Curry cashews, veggie straws - just to name a few. Like all WFs, they have an exceptional prepared food area with lots of delicious mains and fixings. The one thing I'm not a fan of is the roasted chicken. I've bought dozens and they are always dry. Not sure what's up with that because everything else is really good. Bakery section has tempting treats, lots of grainy breads and even gluten free options. The cheese area is fantastic, always something new to try. Because of the prices, I can't afford to shop here for my everyday items, but I come when I want high quality meat, cheese, and produce. And my favorite 365 items. When items are on sale, Prime users get additional discounts, sometimes as high as 20 or 30% off. Great time to stock up on pantry items.
