My realtor recommended Stacy Katz, based on her past interactions, and I am so glad that she did. On four different occasions in the last three years, I had reached out to Stacy to prepare her part of an offer using her company. She was always willing to take a phone call or respond to a text whether she was in her office, traveling, or even at a Diamondbacks game. I have always been amazed at how dedicated she is not only to her work but in building relationships with clients and going above and beyond for them. The fourth attempt was the magic one as we finally had an offer accepted. Stacy checked in with me regularly answering all questions that I had, informing me about the questions I didn't know I should be asking, and just making sure I was doing okay during such an exciting and stressful time. She also referred me to insurance agents and was more than willing to do some research for me. By the time I signed the offer at the title company, I realized that everything that the title officer went over had already been shared with me by Stacy directly. Stacy showed up at the title signing for support and again was ready to answer questions as needed. She certainly made the closing so much easier. Finally, she joined my wife and my realtor to celebrate the successful closing on the house. She had a few surprises up her sleeve, and I can tell she genuinely cared that we had found the perfect home for the next stage of our lives. Thank you to Stacy Katz and Mortgage West Financial for the engaging and caring way that Stacy interacted with us! I will certainly recommend Stacy to anyone looking for a mortgage lender.

As newcomers…read moreto the SLC area and newbies in the real estate market, we found that David went above and beyond to make the entire home-buying process educational, smooth and easy. David's deep knowledge of the SLC market, consistent availability to answer our questions (even the simplest ones), and genuine attention to our needs makes him exceptional. His expertise, eye for detail, and dedication to his profession shone through at every step of the journey. David set up listing alerts for our broad search area and took us to see over 30 homes. He educated us on all the things we should expect from a house in our price range. This included the quality of cabinetry, appliances, flooring/ carpet, tile arrangement, the type of grout used and so on. He didn't shy away from pointing out deficiencies in a house that were not apparent to me or my wife. He has a teacher's mindset and really prepared us to identify the house that would be perfect for us such that we could quickly put in an offer when such a house was listed. He gave us contacts for different lenders and contractors, and this proved extremely helpful. Ultimately, we put in an offer on our dream house the same day it was listed and had our offer accepted within 24 hours. Furthermore, he worked with our lender and the sellers agent to arrange closing within 2 weeks of the offer date. The whole process couldn't have gone any better and David had a huge part to play in it. I'll be referring all future SLC home buyers to David--we cannot recommend him highly enough!
