Fromer Soccer Camp in an amazing group of talented people and my kids LOVE this camp. I have been sending my kids to Fromer Soccer camp for over 5 years now and they alway want to go back. When my son first started he was only 5 years old and Fromer and their amazing staff got him going on drills and skills in a fun and instructive way. By the end of the week his soccer skills had improved greatly and his passion for the sport had increased as well. My older son is quite and timid and the Fromer staff managed to inspire him and teach him the tools to become a more confident player. He went onto play in the Ross Valley league and they won the championship! This is an amazing testament to the knowledge and skilled instructors at Fromer Soccer Camp and my older son was so excited to be holding the trophy at the end of the year with his team mates. A real confidence booster and the very reason why we teach our kids team sports. Through passion, determination and teamwork we can achieve greatness. These are all tools that he learned from the Dave Fromer Soccer Camp. I grew up on Mill Valley and Dave Fromer was our music teacher in 1st grade. It is so nice to see Dave continuing his passion for working with kids 40 years later. He is truly an amazing individual and his family business resinates with love and positive energy. I have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, who have been taking Dave Fromer's Soccer camp through elementary school years over the course of the past 14 years. My kids love the camp, the coaches, learning and playing soccer there and my husband and i have felt so lucky to find a camp for our children we feel is safe and our kids are having fun, learning and receiving personal attention. Our first and third kids went to this camp knowing no soccer, however our second child was involved in competitive soccer. The experience was wonderful for all 3 kids. The camp has top notch coaches who we credit for the skills our son has acquired to play marin fc through high school. Our older child continues to play inter-murals in college and our youngest who just completed the camp last summer found the love of the game. This camp makes learning fun while developing valuable skills, also giving wonderful childhood memories that will last a lifetime. Fromer soccer was/is a wonderful place for our four children to learn a love for soccer. All four of our children are different both ability wise and mentally what they think soccer is all about. Above all else; they simply love soccer and love to show up at camp...like a dog waiting at the door with leash in mouth. One child has taken soccer to a high level, another to MVSC competitive, the others are still finding if it is a passion or not. But the coaches know their names, welcome them with a smile, and instill a love of the game. A+ to Fromer soccer. And Dave is an easy going guy and the kids think he is just a big kid. He will take time to talk to you about your child, soccer in Mill Valley, the weather...and if the moment is busy he will get back to you later. Dave Fromer's Soccer Camp has the best coaches. My children have been attending for the last 12 year's (I have 5 from 19 to 3), and they have all loved it, even the one who hated sports had a great time because the coaches really care about the kids. Although soccer is the point, it is much more than that, it is about teaching kids how to have fun in a physical way, and also about how to learn soccer skills in a fun, not overly competitive environment. I have one child who went on to play college soccer, and one who never played soccer again, but both still talk about how much they loved camp and the coaches. I love Dave Fromer Soccer camp. My son does too. He is ten now, but started learning soccer from Dave Fromer and his staff from the time he knew nothing of soccer until now, when he is quite adept. He has saved his own money to work with Dave's coaches (so you know he loves it) and has participated in Dave's camps, Soccer Programs, Mill Valley Soccer and Dave's indoor Soccer League. I find Dave Fromer's staff professional and great with kids of all skill levels, from those who know absolutely nothing, through pre-professional. Our family has been a fan of Dave Fromer Soccer since our son was 4 yrs old! Some summers that has been the only camp that we did all summer long. More than just teaching soccer, they teach awesome values, encourage good nutrition and overall bring lots of love and inspiration to what they do. Dave is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. His love for the game, the community, and especially the kids is so apparent and filters down into all the programs they offer and especially into the quality and passion of the coaches on his staff.
