Dr. Dave helped me to identify a curvature in my lower spine to be the result of a previous knee surgery that had been causing me nothing but pain for several months prior to my visit. I've been going to Dr. Carry for about a year and a half and I absolutely love him and his staff! Dr. Carry takes the time to explain what is causing discomfort and is more than happy to answer any questions/concerns that I may have. Highly recommended! I started going to Dr. Dave a few months ago after 5 or six weeks of a nagging upper back issue. Getting older is great. You can feel the relaxed atmosphere as soon as you walk up and the office is spacious and clean. No matter who is working, everyone gets greeted with a bright smile and the short wait (if there is a wait at all) is calming in itself. You can also do other exercises in your routine while you wait, if you choose. Dr. Dave is friendly and genuinely interested in helping all of his patients feel well. After a couple weeks i was completely pain free. I have continued to go once a week for a little preventative maintenance and my back and neck feel great. Dr. Carry is hands down the best chiropractor I have ever been treated by! I have been getting adjusted for nearly 20 years and have seen various chiropractors over the years. Let's just say I didn't know what I was missing until Dr. Carry adjusted me. I literally said aloud "wow" after he adjusted my neck! What an amazing experience!! I received a Groupon for Goodlife as a birthday gift. I had never been to a chiropractor before and thought it would be an interesting experience. I went for my appointment, expecting a sales pitch, but hoped the massage would be worth it. No sales pitch, extremely professional, yet friendly, office that is very well run and seems state of the art. My exam and x-rays were thorough, yet quick. I felt my time was respected. I've seen numerous chiropractors over my lifetime for several physical issues. My experience with chiropractic began at the age of 10 years old. I had suffered from terrible migraines. Over the years I have been successfully treated for headaches, lower back pain (due to a fracture that occurred in my twenties), as well as TMJ, and various random knee, wrist, foot, hip, and shoulder issues over the course of my lifetime. In 2008, my regular chiropractor (and husband of 14 years) decided to leave the profession and our marriage, so I found myself in need of a new chiropractor. Chiropractic is not only a science; but it is an art. In my journey of trying various doctors of chiropractic (DC's), I came across Dr. Carry. He was finishing up his internship in Seal Beach. I was amazed and impressed with his adjusting skills. The first time he adjusted me I told him, "You have the "gift"! He was the "real deal" and definitely had the "magic touch". I took his business card to remember his name because he was completing his internship and moving on to the Redondo Beach area (which was an hour drive for me). Since that time, I have been to four more chiropractors locally. They all addressed my lower back issues successfully; however, my neck was a struggle and challenge for them all. About a year ago, I missed 2 days of work, due to a severe migraine. I decided that was it and Dr. Carry's adjustment was worth the drive! So I "googled" his name and now I see Dr. Carry regularly. I have felt so much better overall. Recently he has worked on my TMJ issues and I've had drastic improvement in that area as well. He has very skilled massage therapists as well and his office staff is friendly and knowledgable. They always handle the insurance and paperwork. I never have to worry about that. The office itself is beautifully decorated, technologically advanced, warm, and welcoming. Dr. Dave has the skills necessary to adjust any area of the body that is in need (for example, the jaw for TMJ issues, shoulders, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, and hips). Many other chiropractors do not. Some stick to the neck and back areas only. I could go on; however, this is supposed to be a review and not a book. The bottom line is that I've been seeing chiropractors for 37 years. I choose to drive an hour both ways to see Dr. Carry, in spite of my busy schedule. That should say a great deal. read more

Admittedly I was a little apprehensive about chiropractors, but now I am a huge fan. I am a very active paddler and am frequently cross training and pushing myself physically. I had been struggling with persistent plantar fasciitis and had spent 6 months visiting a sports medicine doctor and physical therapist at a highly recommended South Bay office without much improvement. I actually stumbled on Goodlife via Groupon. I was drawn to their offer as it included massage, thinking I just needed help relieving my calf muscles....and I figured the chiropractic adjustments were worth a shot before trying acupuncture. After my x-ray, they noticed my hips were slightly out of alignment...so that could have been a solid contributor to my plantar fasciitis. (Interestingly the sports med doctor I previously visited had only x-rayed my foot.) Being the nervous type, my first adjustment (ever!) was scary for me. I almost swore on the chiropractor table and took at jab at Dr. Carry due to all the popping I heard. Truthfully, I couldn't get out of the office fast enough. I didn't know what had happened, but it unnerved me. :) But later that day (during a yoga class), I could feel my hips had been adjusted and that I was literally more balanced. Knowing I was the skittish type, Dr. Carry was very gentle (but effective) with my future adjustments and it did not take more than a week or so to truly feel my plantar fasciitis lighten up and truly heal. Because his office was able to work with my insurance, I kept up my chiro appointments and began to look forward to them....I also had great success with incorporating massage (hard not to!). I went to this place to try it with a groupon. It sounded like a good deal and I thought if I liked it I would continue treatment there. Unfortunately it was a total rush seeing this doctor. No questions asked, just a quick look at my paperwork and rushing to get a couple of x-rays, then a worthless adjustment which was in the front room where everyone else is. For x-ray review you need to come back but I was so disappointment that I would never consider going back there. The massage was ok, no complains about that. read more

I entered the establishment and was approached with smiles and greetings which was really comforting. It took about 5 minutes before seeing Dr. Carry, ultimately I was in there for about 25 minutes. Then in March of this year, after a ride at a theme park, I re-aggravated a previous neck injury. The base of my head and top of my neck would pinch as I yawned...
