Came here on a rainy day, while visiting in town, and it was the nicest Dave & Buster's I've ever been too. And I'm from California. So I feel like that says a lot. We didn't eat here because we sat down and no one came for the 15 minutes that we were sitting. It looked like there was only one person working the floor and there were lots of tables full. I will say that 3 workers asked me if I needed help while waiting at the hostess stand. Now on to the games! WOW! They have such a good selection! So many to play and really good ones for all ages. This deserves a one star review, the games were fun but the food was pricey and came very late. We ordered our food at 6:00 and some people in our party got their orders at 7 and right now it's 7:46 and 9 people still don't have food. I came here 6 months ago and did the eat and play promotion with a large party. This time my bill was noticeably larger. As I look over bill, they decided to no longer include soft drinks with the promotion. Adding 3.99 for every drink and automatic 20% tip. It was a lot more. After one small bite of the fried fish that I was served I contracted the norovirus, and by Tuesday I was vomiting all day, diarrhea, and stomach cramping, this went on for 3 days. I warned the area operations manager, I told him this fish is going to kill somone thats how bad this was, and tasted and smelled that was left in my mouth for hours. On top of this the waitress said when I told her this smelled very fishy she had nerve to tell me "but you ordered the fish" I mean these two employees one being the op manager acted like I was making this up and treated me and my family and I like trash. On top of getting sick...very sick they want me to call but why bother when you hire trash and serve Families tainted meat. The op manager was so rude he didnt even offer to make us anything esle and just took the 2 tanited dishes off my recpt. Dave and Buster's is good at video games but that's it. They are as good for food as Chuck E. Cheese is for NY pizza. I got the Mushroom Stout Burger today. He asked how I'd like it cooked. I asked him if they'll actually cook it how I want and he said yes, so I ordered it medium. It came out VERY well done and the mushrooms on there tasted dirty and bitter. I ate the patty and left everything else and the manager noticed. He was VERY good at being apathetic. Just awful. Paid and played games and left. Then after putting on the wrong fight for over and hour(intentionally) I realized that I was missing the fight I wanted to see. My 4 kids and I were excited to get out of the house during this cold winter. Our experience at D & B was quickly ruined. We found a table and I decided to order a dessert and a beverage due to occupying a table. After ordering, I left the table for approximately 3 minutes to check on my children. When I arrived back at my table, I was confronted by the waitress informing me that I was not allowed to leave the table and next time, our personal items would be moved. A manager was sent over to me as the waitress wanted to nothing to do with my response. Side note - there were other tables unoccupied and even more that were occupied with belongings and no occupants in site. Be consistent with your ridiculous rules. And even better, treat others as you want to be treated. As a business that's main priority is to be family friendly, do better! read more

Eat before you go because it gets pricey. The drinks are good but expensive. It is loud with a lot of kids running all over. Don't come here to relax but prepare for fun activities. Well, unlike negative nellies (J R) I took my grandsons on 1/2 price Wednesday and I am taking them back today because we had SO MUCH FUN. The arcades are varied enough to suit every age and entertainment requirement. The food is good, although I need to try more items, having been only once. Yes, it is noisy, but so are the other arcade places in Wichita. GO! Have fun!...especially on 1/2 price Wednesday. My boys earned enough tickets to get awesome prizes...which is icing on the cake. In addition, the wait staff were extremely professional, AND the guys and gals in the prize room were so helpful, even though requests for "is there another one in the back" could get old after awhile. I really wanted to doubt everyone's review but I can see why the not so perfect 5 stars. First off going to start with the parking lot... Nice and clean. Lobby, entrance, nice and clean. The dining one of many dining areas we ate at... Nice and clean. But when it was time to use the restroom... Omg I gagged. How often does one clean that place. I get it, I don't like to clean up shit let alone some randoms. It was gross. 1st stall didn't have toilet paper. The 2nd stall looked like a volcano erupted in that bowl. 3rd stall was occupied. 4th stall... Well I gave up by this point. I just gagged and waited till I got home. The reason I needed the bathroom was because we came on a Tuesday. Taco Tuesday and $2 Corona bottles. Man you can't beat that! Well actually... To be honest the tacos were a big let down. There was the option of beef or chicken. I chose beef on flour tortillas. Maybe the taco snob came out of me, but these were a disappointment to "Tacos". These were the most basic and saddest tacos I've ate. Even taco Bell, Taco Tico ( you get my point) were way better. And when the taco came out, it looked dry so I requested sauce ... Yup, they charged me for it! What in the world. That's like asking for soy sauce at an Asian restaurant to be charged for it. But let's get to the positives... The $5 corn and cheese quesadillas happy hour wasn't bad. Cheap menu item. Happy hour drinks weren't bad either. They said happy hour meaning half priced drinks... Ok, where is the price of the original? How did I know if I was getting them half off? Now onto to the main meal... I ordered the steak and shrimp pasta with a lobster sauce. It sounds fancy! But what make the sauce lobster? Althought there was plenty, But sad to say, it lacked flavor. My friend ordered the New York strip steak with mushrooms and tomatoes. Also on his plate was roasted potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. His plate wasn't so bad. The price was a little high tho. Since we were there for his birthday, they gave him a big piece of chocolate cake. That was alot and good as well. Our waitress wasn't so bad. She was helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was, not being told about the charge for the salsa. Since we went on a weeknight it wasn't jammed pack. But to say, we spent another $25 on token games on our game card. Especially nice to communicate via phone. But you could not hear. So we settled for if your phone rings, come to where we are. It looked clean (although seriously, think of all the germs that had to be all over those hands-on games) and the place is new so that probably helped (exceptions the rest rooms were not as clean as they could have been) but they did have soap, warm water, paper towels and toilet protectors There was a good amount of seating If you love sports there are huge screens everywhere to watch anything - sports It is great for young people who do not mind the following.....  The noise. Omg. Excruciating. You cannot hear someone sitting next to you or across from you at the table unless you scream at them. The smells. One of the first things I noticed was that the place had a very unpleasant odor. Think of the odors of multiple leftover processed foods and also the smells of garbage in a trash can. The crowds. This huge place had people everywhere zipping this way and that, all talking at once over the sounds of the TV and the sounds of about 100 games AND the sounds of music. Bad music. The ambiance. There was none. The expense. Yes. There is that. Looking around at all those young people and families, I thought it amazing that people must have a lot of disposable income. The food. For this I must take you back to number 2 on my list (pun intended). Grotesquely processed and not very good. Hell. Yes. I think this could be what hell might be like. The coup de grace. I woke up about 2 a.m. with the worst diarrhea I have had in years. It lasted about 10 hours. At least I think it is gone. So yes, it was a stroke of mercy to get all that poison out of me.         Reality is under siege. Be aware. Use your brain. Hold onto your faith. Don't lose anything here because you will receive zero help from the employees trying to find it. I flew in from Georgia and went to D&B with some family on Friday night and we stayed until close. As in the last people in there. Upon arriving at the in-laws later that night, I realized I placed my wallet down while playing a game and left it there. The wallet only had about $150 in it which is not a big deal. It's got all my cards, identification, and most importantly a sapphire ring my late father gave to me. I called up there first thing Saturday morning to see if anybody may have returned it when they were closing. Nothing. I went there to look myself and ask if anyone turned it in but still nothing. Several employees then watched me scurry around the establishment looking frantically for my wallet to no avail. I'm not saying the employees of D&B are thieves or are lazy and don't want to assist customers who spend hundreds of dollars every other month. I'm.jist saying maybe go to Chicken N Pickle for a more customer friendly experience because this place sucks donkey ballz. PS- if you find my wallet ill let you keep the money. The "put in your own order" deal was awful. Impersonal, inconvenient and over all disappointing. I have been to many Dave & Busters over the years and the menu and food have always offered great variety and it is unique and delicious. Not any more. So delicious and the service was incredible! Ryan N. was our server. He was friendly, fun and very hospitable. He never let our drinks bottom out, checked on us but gave us privacy to enjoy our meals and conversation. We ordered a variety of apps, kids meals and entrees, and none of us were disappointed. Food was prepared impeccably. The portions were enormous, even my normally hungry husband was sated and left with a to-go box. Our booth straddled the bar area and the game floor. Went there on a very off evening. Couldn't get anyone (wait staff) to help so I ordered electronically after I couldn't stand it anymore. Waitress finally came by and got my drink order and I told her I had ordered electronically. She went to check on the order...... 45 minutes and no food, so I ordered again. Still no food. Finally the waitress came by and she said they knew of the order, but because the table was assigned to a waitress who wasn't working that night, the kitchen staff thought it was a gag and didn't make it. Five minutes later the food came out and it must have been a gag, because it was cold and nasty looking. Full rack of ribs that felt like they had just been pulled out of the frig. And the nachos looked and tasted as if they had been sitting there fir hours. And after all of that I didn't even get an apology for their mistakes. BUT they failed to inform me that they will only seat up to 8 people and it's open seating. My group along with 2 others were not able find this out till a manager finally acknowledged us after waiting 10 mintues for a table to open up. I understand that in Wichita, every time something new opens, the establishment is flooded with customers and isn't ready for such a surge. This was not the case in our experience here. I know that they were busy but not busy enough for it to take them 40 minutes to bring me one drink and an appetizer. I saw a server walking around lost with my first drink, not know where to serve it to. Then our food was served to the table next to us, which was empty! Then we were told the manager would come to settle the issues with us and what does he do walk two tables over to talk to other customers that had been fed and served correctly. I was so happy that a fun place like Dave and busters was coming to Wichita. Our first visit there was unsatisfactory to say the least. We went on a Wednesday night (half price game night), my wife and I stopped at the bar upon entering to grab a beer. We waited for about 5 mins to be served. A gentleman walked up to us with a bucket full of water, starred me right in the eye, poured the water into some freezer it something, then turned around. Eventually we got our beers, my wife ordered a lime with her beer. The bartender handed my wife the line with her bare hands! Our second trip to the bar came an hour later or so. The same crew still working the bar.... all 3 of them looked me dead in the eyes and went walked away (I can't make this stuff up). Eventually one of them tended to us, again my wife orders here beer with a lime. The bartender (a different one) squeezes the lime in my wife's beer with HER BARE HANDS, THEN DROPS THE LIME IN HER BEER!! I've never seen anything like this in my life. If Wednesday night is your half price night, which is anticipated to be a busier night.... hire a better crew to work your bar. This will be another great establishment to come to Wichita which will be ruined by the individuals it chooses to employ. Very disappointed by the way this place is being managed at the moment. NEW FAVORITE IN WICHITA!!! Took my 6 year old middle son on a daddy date. Had a blast!!! The atmosphere is awesome and EVERYONE of the staff truly enjoyed being there. It took us almost 2 hours just to eat because of how awe full the service was. There were only 4 of us. Took 15 minutes to get our waters and we should have took that as a sign. The wings were small and the flavor wasn't very good. When they did refill our drinks and wings, they kept giving our food to the table next to us!! I had to get up multiple times to find someone to refill our drinks. And! Had to go find our waiter to get our bill! Then had to wait 10 minutes to get that back.
