I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam of a place at all costs!

My PC goes over everything and makes sure you're well taken care of. They even give you a summary of your visit with all tests results, vitals and everything that was discussed with your PC. They provide free transportation to and from the office if you have no way of getting there or don't feel like driving. They always make a follow up call to see how you're doing after your visit. They also have a 24/7 hotline if you need a Dr after hours or have questions. I've never been treated so well at a Dr office in my entire life. I would recommend OSH over Desert Ridge any day of the week.

He is involved in his practice, I am surprised when I call sometimes and he answers the phone. He reads your medical history and any reports from other doctors you see and explains things to you. He goes over my blood tests in depth with me so I understand them. The only downsides are that he's about an hour drive each way for me and the wait can sometimes be long because he is giving his other patients the time and care that you will receive when it's your turn. I can't say enough about what a good, kind, caring doctor he is! Highly recommend!

To make a long story short, here is are bullet points of what occurred: 1) Reached out to OM to ensure they accepted the new insurance plan I was considering. I was told by TWO different employees that they accepted it. 2) I used this insurance to see my doctor several times over a health concern. 3) Received a bill stating I would need to pay all out of pocket because OM didn't accept my plan. 4) Reached out to various departments at OM asking about this. After several attempts and many delays in getting someone to respond, I was finally told to speak to the office manager. 5) Office manager informed me they would look into it and see what could be done. Few weeks went by, no response. Reached out various times and finally heard back from a new office manager who told me she would look into the issue. 6) Several more weeks went by and still nothing. Left messages and emails and after about 4 months of this, was told I would need to speak to my insurance since they couldn't help me. 7) Due to the amount of time between having received the initial bill and finally being told I need to figure it out myself, I asked for them to please not send the bill to collections since I am very aware that medical offices will quickly take this route. 8) Was informed that they had already sent me to collections and there was nothing they could do about it and didn't even try to make it right by offering to refund my membership or anything else. 9) Had to pay the full bill through a collection agency which has now affect my credit all due to their staff being incompetent.

Made an appointment with Dr. Bruce Sobel. First visit ...I had to wait an hour to see the doctor......not a great first impression. During the exam I found Larry Sobel more interested in letting me know how much $$$ he made in the market recently than dealing with any medical issues I had. Had the exam and told him I wouldn't come back if waiting an hour was typical. He assured me it wasn't . Next appointment I waited an hour and a half and still never got to see Sobel. I walked out and told the office I wouldn't be back. Immediately found a new family doc. I take a blood pressure medication every day. Unbeknownst to me Sobel's office was the last medical practice to order this particular medication so the pharmacy contacted them them to OK a refill. They decided not to and simply ignored the multiple fax requests. I found Larry Sobel to be condescending, disrespectful and a little too arrogant. He may be a great doctor but he runs his practice like his sh*t doesn't stink.

Dr Natasha takes the time to answer questions and address concerns. She is kind and has a sense of humor. The lab is amazing. The phlebotomist does the most painless blood draws I've ever experienced and results come back quickly. Dr Natasha also explains lab results through the messaging app which is much faster and more pleasant than other offices that take a "no news is good news approach." Also, the app is great. I've used it a couple of times and it has saved me some visits to urgent care.

I was relieved to see there was plenty of availability, and could have managed a same day appointment (but I don't procrastinate when it comes to that First Class). Now what sets this office apart is their communication. Appointment confirmation when booked, a few days out I received an email and text to confirm, and the day before almost like a checklist to make sure I didn't forget any important documents (pilots love checklists). During the appointment the office visit was seamless and very efficient with little to no time wasted. Before I knew it Dr. Dykema was ready for me to head back. All of the same exam items one expects for a First Class (this time including an EKG because getting old sucks). The price is very reasonable and receipt was no problem for reimbursement from the airline. In the end, absolutely no reason to be nervous. I had a great experience, and expect you to have the same.
