Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. You get to pick a pottery piece off the rack, there was limited pottery availability due to the holiday holidays, but that didn't stop us! I chose a 9 inch plate and my friend picked a door hanger. The plate was $30 and door hanger $35. We were impressed by the selection of stamps and stencils. Everything we needed was avaliable to us. They had plenty of colors and paintbrushes. I can't wait to pick up our finished pieces. Tip, decide on a plan before arriving so you don't spend 45 mins like I did on Pinterest searching for ideas.

I had two gift cards that I had won from trivia questions at Gore Club, and figured it was time to use them. So I stopped in one weekend afternoon. Stickers and posters, books and t-shirts, weird and vintage knickknack things. I enjoyed my visit here and left spending more money than I had in gift cards. When back there be sure to look in the rafters for some old school child terrorizing animal mascot heads that are fun to check out. On our trip here my oldest found a 50s retro looking swim suit that she fell in love with. It was reasonably priced so we made the purchase. Overall a pretty cool shop that was fun to browse and brought a blast from the past feeling for me personally. Only strange thing was there was rack with an old uofl mascot hoodie my second oldest wanted but it wasn't priced yet so they simply said "not for sale".

My bigger body size doesn't mesh with the fun clothing so this leaves me to shop decor and accessories. While I smile a lot, it isn't suited for work attire and likely my age.
