The staff were not making any attempt at conversation, not even a hello and thank you when handing you your food. A smile and thank you goes a long way. At least with me it does. Paying was quick and painless. The cashier at least smiled, said hello and thank you. The food was what one would expect from Wawa. Filling, yes. Ok tasting, yes. Something you would make an effort to go back for another time, no. But, it did the job, getting me home without having to stop on the road again.

It was taking a little long and the Wawa associate said she forgot to put the pepperoni on the pizza and just made a cheese pizza. The pizza was not bad. The slices were cut but the pizza looked a little messy. The crust is a little too crispy for me and has a garlic flavor seasoning. The pizza was super hot and there was a decent cheese pull. The pizza is only available after 4pm. The prices are a little much but what else is new.

The gas station is pretty clean with a bright, inviting convenience store area. What concerns me is the pricing accuracy in one of the gas pumps. I was pretty sure I hit the button for regular gas but I noticed that the total amount was a lot higher than usual and when I checked the receipt, I found that I was actually charged for the premium gas. The whole time that particular pump was running, only the regular price was displayed so there was no indication it was charging the premium price. So it could be that the pump was miswired. The extra charge is small potatoes so I won't be taking them to court over this but nevertheless I doubt I'll be back.

There was not much open and Shell was probably the closest place to us open during those quarantine months. Hubs worked from home all the time and I went into an office to see clients via Telehealth. We wanted to get out of the house so we would come here to get scratch off tickets and a beer to sip on in the parking lot. We were also smokers at that time so we wanted to be outside for that as well. There are plenty of parking spots in the lot and they are far enough from the pumps. There were cops here the majority of times we visited here so we did not have any concerns about safety. There is also a separate food counter inside but we never had the opportunity to try it. There were several times we were unable to cash in our winnings because they either did not have enough cash or they shut down the lotto machines. The prices are expensive, as with all Shell locations I have been to.

As I was pumping my gas I noticed that the pump just kept running and I was standing in a puddle or water and gas because it was raining. I stopped the pump which had reached $60.09. I went inside to talk to the person inside. She informed me that she was the only person there and could not come outside to check things out and there was nothing she could about the over charge. She made a phone call and said she would have to pour something on the gas spill. She said I could come back the next day nd speak to the manager. When I went back the next day, I went inside and spoke with a guy who said he was the manager and explained what had happened, he told me that it was my responsibility to stop the pump and that if they wanted to they could charge me for the oil spill. As a disabled veteran, I try to do things for myself, I was appalled at their response to the situation. I think had I hurt myself slipping trying to get into the store or worse, they would have been just as considerate as they were, I have reported the this to the proper agencies and want to thank Seedway for their POOR customer service and inappropriate response to the issue. This whole situation could have gone in a whole different direction, but sometimes you need to pick your battles.

Shantrell and Kiana both go above and beyond their duties in ensuring my sandwich is perfect to my liking. One time Katesha filled in and made it just as delicious as the others. Justin is just a friendly young man who treats customers with a natural nice demeanor and I nominate each of these workers for special recognition from their superiors.
