They don't let you order all the meats from the menu though. You are only allowed to choose one type of meat and have to stick with it for the meal. We decided for the pork belly and spicy marinated beef. The BBQ came with 6 really yummy side dishes, rice, fresh vegetables to grill (onion, potato, zucchini and king oyster mushroom), a plate of delicious fried dumplings and 2 sauces (Gochujang and fermented soybean paste). The pork belly was frozen and the beef was not. We were amazed by the variety of food we got on our table and the banchan (the side dishes) were great too! The pork belly was delicious but the beef wasn't marinated to my taste. They marinated it Chinese style with some really strong spices which I didn't like too much. Next time I'll just order it plain or just with salt and pepper. I really loved this place and the food they had. The only 2 downsides for me was that they didn't offer kimchi free of charge. It had to be ordered for 2,90€ a bowl. I don't want to pay for something that is actually a staple for a Korean BBQ. And I didn't like the way they marinated the beef. The pricing was overall very good. We paid around 45€ for the BBQ + a large bottle of water & Kimchi. I will definitely return :-)

They have a new all you can eat special which comes with two dishes of your choice, unlimited sides, rice and drinks. They bring out two gas grills for the table and all the food. We sat there for nearly two hours eating and getting fat. The food is delicous, authentic, and of course fresh sinse you cook it at the table. Price is a bit expensive as the bill came out to 73 euros for the meal, two beers and a bittle of soju. Also they yelled at us as you cant cook the kimchi in the grill. We have been repeat customers and will be going back unless we find a new better place.

It's located a bit away from the city center in a residential area and not easy to get to without a car or taxi. It's a fairly big restaurant with multiple rooms and seating for well over 100 people. The menu is extensive and has lots of the traditional Korean dishes and there are many items that can be shared between 2-4 people. There is also a Korean bbq selection for grilling at your table. I had the kimchi soup to start and a dolsot pibimpab which is a rice dish served in a hot pot. I loved my soup and my pibimpab. It was delicious with a bit of heat through it and really nice. The small side dishes that came with the main were also fantastic and generous portions. Definitely coming back here again for one of my favourite cuisines of the world. It's good food, good service and reasonably priced.

Everything from fermented black beans to salty fish to tapioca balls. And curry. Wait, more...premade-wrapped char-sui-bao, cookies, snacks, ice cream, Chinese vegetables (fresh), all sorts of noodles in the back, canned vegetables, tofu, spices, hot sauces like the German version of Sriracha, cookware, all sorts or fermented paste and sauces. The only possible missing section is meat/fish but that's not expected. And... not just food, also Tiger Balm and shots of unknown medicine darker than the earths core where the medicine was taken from and only labelled in Chinese! Catering to all Asians that need stuff from the mother land and non Asians looking for Asian stuff. The first time out of dozens of times stepping in here was simple to grab drinks (cold and room temperature), a bottle of grass jelly drink and sweet red bean drink. Ever since I ventured in to the back and discovered many, many products. The shop keepers seem cool and mellow.

Hello favorite Asian supermarket in Frankfurt!…read more Another gem that is open on Sundays (seriously I sometimes go in here on a Sunday for fun just because I can), this place certainly has what you're looking for. It seems to be more Thai / Southeast Asian and Chinese focused (although lots of Japanese and Korean products are hanging around inside too), but really has everything one needs to cook and prepare and enjoyable Asian meal. It is also decently priced compared to many of the places I have been, despite being the go-to spot for many customers seeking Asian products. In here I can find several Asian fruits and vegetables, including lotus root which can be surprisingly difficult to find around Frankfurt (although I tend to only find frozen here given the day). You can also buy any of the herbs and leaves you may need to cook up a perfect Thai curry, and the herbs are always pretty fresh and well taken care of! They also have some randoms in the store like meat cleavers (I know because I purchased one here!) Quick and efficient, the customer service is pretty good and always willing to help if you're unable to locate a product in a prompt manner. Just beware that sometimes it can be slightly crowded in here and you may have to wait your turn! While Spicelands is my favorite Indian (and some Asian and African) supermarket to go to, Gutleut is my favorite for all other Asian.

I would just like to state now that this rating is solely based on quality of food per price point…read more I have been going here for some time for cheap sushi. It is a Korean supermarket that randomly sells sushi and some easy Korean food (i.e. bibimbap). It doesn't have much of an identity, but to every first-timer's surprise, the place is almost always rammed. You can get an entire roll of sushi in here for like 2 or 3 Euros. It is not going to compete with the best sushi in Germany, naturally. But for the price, it is pretty dang good. They also serve really tasty bibimbaps which will run you 7,95 Euros including a miso soup. And I have to admit, the bibimbaps here will give any actual sit-down restaurant that specializes in Korean food in Ffm a run for its money. The ordering process here is a bit strange, so here goes: You go to the counter. They will have rolls and sushi kind of premade in a window. The rolls of maki are not yet cut, however. They will do this fresh and on order. They sell through things during the day and will eventually make things on order once things run out. It is a bit strange, but damn it is efficient. You will never wait long here. A bibimbap takes less than 5 minutes to be delivered to your table, as well. Sushi is the same. The staff is very friendly and they run a really nice operation here! I will continue to go back and enjoy myself!
