First time was for a repair they were fully booked but they managed to fit us in very last minute then because the job was so small they didn't even charge us labour there is a repeat customer straight away!! Second time was for our MOT. Unfortunately our car failed and on agreement they did our repairs. They even did it a little cheaper than quoted. Now for the amazing part is that they are super doggy friendly! When collecting my car I had my not so little dog with me they were so friendly with him allowed him right into the garage and he left with a full tub of biscuits in his stomach. The have charged less than they quoted, done repairs for free, always clearly explain all the things that do need fixed and they always fit you in at short notice. My first visit here was to have an MOT carried out where I found the garage staff to be pleasant and friendly. They also took some time to chat about my car and build confidence that they knew what they were talking about. Following visits for MOT's on both mine and my wife's cars have built a good, trusting relationship with John Brady's. When I used them to price some specialist tyres for my track car they were good enough to call around their suppliers and then price match my usual online supplier. I have found them to be very reasonable for normal road tyres for various cars now. I have also had some diagnostics and repairs carried out when I haven't had the time or tooling to do it myself and have found the pricing to be very fair. The well lit MOT bay and workshop are visible through the large windows in the reception area showing that they have nothing to hide (anyone who has been in a dim lit back street garage will know...). In summary - this is a friendly, trustworthy garage who will take the time to explain any work required and do it to high standards for fair prices. Give them a try.

I came across this garage on groupon where they had a service and mot package at a really reasonable price. It did cross my mind that maybe it was too good to be true but off i went. I dropped the car off and headed into town. The garage is ideally located for buses either into town or to the fort but on this day i was meeting a friend for lunch. After a few hrs i got a call to say my car had failed its mot and my heart sank... expecting to be hit with a bill of hundreds i was told that it failed on the same thing as last year only the other side. I had used a different garage last year and was quoted roughly the same price. I later found out that the fail was very common with my type of car. I was quite happy to pay and headed back to collect the car. I wasnt sure if they took card payments so i tool cash. Overall i was pleasently surprised and i would have no hesitation in using this garage again.

I had the RAC looking at it and, as this was an RAC approved garage, I decided to book it. 1) I asked them to flush the cooling system: just remove coolant and then refill it. Something that is done for about £60,00. They held the van for three long days and, when they were done, they said they found two loose pipes and secured them with jubilee clips!!! As far as I know, today a quality garage will use spring-band-clamps to secure aircon tubes etc, especially on the Vauxhall Vivaro. When I collected the van I was charged £300,00 for the flush!!!! Everyone is shocked by this one!!! Nobody ever heard of such a fee for a coolant flush. I drove from the garage and in about 4 miles from the garage my engine started to smoke like it never did before. The engine overheated and I had to stop. I called them and they actually invited me back to the garage. I thanked them and very slowly took the vehicle to my house. No doubt, they did not just flush the engine. After my complaint was rejected by an email from the garage, and I did not receive a response from their registered address: Limetree Garage, Glasgow Road, Hamilton, ML3 0RA, I filed a lawsuit against Kerr-Tech Automotive Ltd, trading at Rutherglen. Now keep in mind that "Arnold Clark Motor Store", told me in a previous similar situation, in June this Year, and I quote, " YOU CAN'T REPAIR A TUBELESS TYRE" end quote, and then selling me a NEW Tyre, I was quite surprised, but elated that my Tyre, would be repaired if needed. I showed-up 10 Minutes early, met Stewart, he drove my car into the Garage Bay, identified a Nail was lodged in the Tyre, then fixed that with a plug. He showed me the kit they use for this, and explained the procedure they used, which was both interesting and informative. This took maybe 15 Minutes in total. The charge was insignificant, and once again, I am 100% satisfied, and totally secure in the work Stewart carried out for me today. Such a relief to know my Car maintenance needs are so conveniently available, and in such trustworthy hands! Highly recommended!
