I look forward to eating here again! The burgers are not at all like a normal German burger and when they say spicy or hot, they mean it. I find that the service is slightly slower than I expect, but you kinda get used to that here. I also appreciate that they have more than one or two IPA's to choose from. That's unheard of here in this town. This place would get 5 stars if the service was more attentive. read more

Ok, American here who has worked in many restaurants. 1 star for the fries. 1 star for the beer selection and burger taste 1 star for the owner who happened to be there on my last visit, seemed like a nice guy. Ok, so, let's start with fries. They are rosemary shoe string type which I like. There are two kinds of people in this world, steak fry(baked potato) and the appropriate fry size people. With that out of the way, first visit I ordered the peanut butter burger. I would not recomended as the balance is completely off,way too much pb.... I've heard the same from others. My favorite is the el grifficito, sauce on side as it is super spicy. Today I had a not so pleasant visit. Their menu says all burgers are cooked to medium, which is my preference. Halfway through my burger I look down and it is very red with some purple. I don't want medium rare burgers. I brought this to the attention of the guy behind the bar who decided to argue with me that it was in fact "medium." Which is total BS, I asked him what temp was medium but he couldn't answer. Should be 60 C minimum. Please see my attached pics. They did make me a new burger which I appreciated. Unfortunately while most of the burger was cooked correctly it seems the chef or the griddle is unable to produce an evenly cooked piece of meat as there was another medium rare/rare portion of my burger. I have no problem if that's the "German way" of cooking but don't try and argue with me that that is medium, or medium well for the second one. Please, I'm from the country that invented the burger. If you're an American or anyone who knows how a burger is supposed to be cooked/ consumed I would recommend asking them for "medium well" or "well done" as their cooking is way off. Came here with some friends on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. This was my first meal outside of the hotel since I have been in Wiesbaden. I was told that they have the best burgers...so I had to try them myself! Since it was my first time dining here I ordered the das!burger...lemme just say it was perfectly cooked and flavored!! Definitely the best burger that I have ever had! Unlike the US everything is ala cart...french fries, ketchup, etc. We also ordered the nachos to share which was good but not the best I've had. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. The service was great and our server spoke English. I will definitely bring my out of town visitors here! read more

Fantastic burgers with extra friendly staff that speak perfect English. I've never been so impressed by the service at a restaurant in Germany. The burgers are also tasty and fun! Great stop for anyone wanting a big hearty burger. I also loved the shoestring fries because they were truly the size of a shoestring (unlike fries in the US which claim to be shoestring but are more the size of chalk!) So, your staff is great, location great, ambiance great, and your appetizers are fantastic. Now, it's time to add some true VEGAN burgers to the menu...local competition (Hams I'm Gluck) has ten veggie/vegan burgers on the menu, and their staff tell me that several meat eaters also come in to order their veggie burgers. Another one of our favorites in downtown Wiesbaden. Good beer selection, delicious burgers and is on the hipster/trendy side, which we like. I've been here three separate times and each time the service has been good and food has been even better. The last two times I got the banh mi burger and that fire sauce was so hot but so delicious. I know others have complained about the fries but my husband and I both like them. We also got the fried onion appetizer and the jalapeno ranch with those are perfect. I tried one of the wings when someone else ordered them and although they aren't what I pictured wings to be, they really were not bad. Da Best! I love a great, hearty burger. This is my second visit to das!Burger and still amazes me. I had the Sumo Burger. Who can go wrong with a huge burger with Pork BBQ and spicy peppers. My wife had the Charlie Brown burger. I was pleasantly surprised to discover peanut butter is actually good on a hamburger. Lastly, we shared the Twisted Onion. This feast was more than we could eat. Went back twice in the last month and have been disappointed with the decline in service and product. The buns always seem stale but doughy now. I'm not quiet sure how that is possible but yet 2 times and get the same taste. This last time we ordered a kinder burger with no sauce. The waitress said there's no sauce on the burger just ketchup so she wrote no ketchup then it came out with sauce because that's what it has on it. So I sent it back and it came back 20 minutes later with ketchup on it so I sent it back again finally on the third time they got it right. The waitress rolled her eyes at me. We were walking around one evening and happened to stumble upon das!Burger, and we are glad we did. The menu is found on the web via a QR code. Unfortunately only the name of the item is in English, what is in it is in German so be ready to translate. I ordered the farmhouse and my wife ordered the Alamo. These burgers are quite large and most certainly require a fork and knife. They were quite delicious and the fries were great as well. My family of four ate two of the spicy burgers with jalapeños and two Alamo burgers with bacon and BBQ sauce. All came with sides of shoe string fries and cranberry cole slaw. All was great and only cost us 55 Euros with sodas for three and a beer for me. The burgers were great! My wife's from Mexico and even she was impressed by how spicy and delicious the burger was. I am not a fan of sweet coleslaw, but theirs was great! They have an extensive beer list to boot! The outdoor seating was beautiful and clean. Perfect for the weather. Best burger place in the area. The burgers are cooked perfectly as well as being juicy and full of flavor. They also have quite a few creative burgers that are all well executed and all very good. The nachos are actually spicy too and don't use doritos like other places. The only thing I would change is offering larger fries as an option but the shoe string fries are good. They also have a good selection of craft beer. It won't meet your expectations compared to the states but it is much better than many of the other restaurants in the area. read more

Definitely not the traditional German spot, but the best option for burgers in Wiesbaden. The fries are what lets me down a little (the little string fry crisps). Definitely try the das! Nachos with pork. German food is never super spicy, so I always went with the "hot" option for salsa. They also have a lot of options for craft beers if trying new beer is your thing. read more

This small burger joint caught the corner of my eye while walking by, and craving a burger I checked if they had a seat for 2. I took my seat an ordered the chicago burger, with a side of fries. The burger arrived in about 45 minutes, and with high hopes I took a giant bite, savoring the flavors all the way through. The quality of the burger patty and bun was beyond amazing. Though the lettuce and tomato was soggy and disgusting. The fries although small, melted in your mouth. It was an amazing way to end tHe night. As Americans, it was so great to find a gourmet burger and beer place in Wiesbaden! Both our burgers and the fries were delicious. Good beer selection, including many 'domestic regulars' if you're not into craft brews. Service was friendly and most servers spoke English. Reservations definitely recommended, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. I took off one star because it didn't make sense for them not to have an English or dual-langauge menu given all the Americans in the area. Also, we heard that the owner is English, so that really didn't make sense. That being said, we will definitely return and definitely recommend! read more

This is definitely the best burger in Germany. Friendly staff. We had Das burger which was amazing. The patty is so fresh and light but juicy at the same time.
