I'd been…read moreinterested in finding a true barber shop after a great experience at one in Augusta, GA last year, and I'd definitely consider this an excellent one. It's very clean inside, all the barbers are very friendly and skilled, and the prices are VERY nice. They only do walk-ins by a take-a-number system. When I went, there was only one person waiting in front of me, so it didn't take long at all. While I was waiting, I watched the barbers working, and was already impressed by their work. Clean lines, very even fading, and all of them paid loads of attention to detail. They know their stuff! When it was my turn, I told my barber (whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask) what I was wanting, and he asked a few questions about details before going right to work. He also cleaned up my facial hair super nicely. The end result? Even better than I'd expected! He did a fantastic job and even my lady was impressed. And all this for only $25! I think I've found my barber shop. So chances are high that I'll be stopping back by for my next cut. I got a great cut at an unbeatable price and had a great experience. Exactly what I was looking for!

So when I found this spot that was much closer to where I live I knew I had to check it out... And I think it's gonna be my new go-to barbershop. I called ahead of time to ask if they accept walk-ins. Keelan, one of the barbers, told me I can schedule an appointment on their website. So I did and it was quick and easy to schedule an appointment on that day, a Saturday, at 1:30pm. When my lady and I got there, Keelan greeted us right away and welcomed us in. He and Kane run the place and it's a very cool, laid back shop. I told Keelan what I wanted and he went right to work. And the results were perfect. I definitely liked my cut and the fade was absolutely on point. Plus the price of $35 for the cut made it a great deal. Yep, this is my new go-to barbershop. It's nearby, the vibe is chill, the prices are excellent, and the service is top-notch.

This was my big leap, first time in chair during pandemic and first time since big chop. Austin put me at ease. The shop employees were masked, taking temps and cleaning in between clients. There was only one client before me being finished off. I was asked to sit in one chair at the door to wait. Awesome! I was a little nervous about describing what I wanted but after a couple questions the cut was off and running. Austin was professional and we had easy conversation. The shop atmosphere is also great. Various inspiring quotes on the walls, I can see why my nephew likes the vibe here. I am very happy with my haircut.

So I made a reservation for a Wednesday at 5:00pm. All the staff were super friendly and inviting. Ryan was my barber that day and he did a great job. He told me he's been cutting hair for seven years and sees it as an art form. I can definitely see that in his work. He also told me the shop has been open for 90 years and has always been family owned and operated. That says a lot about the place. The atmosphere is very laid back with lots of unique decor on the walls from music to movies and skateboarding. My cut was $30 and was absolutely worth it. This is officially my go-to barbershop and I'm asking for Ryan again because he did a great job.

Nothing is even, looks like I got into a fight with a lawnmower. Jesus Phil you're not a barber and let me clarify I'm Mexican, and that was a black barber shop. I went to a white one and they messed up my hair too. Maybe it's because he wasn't used to my hair either way he should never have told me he could do it. I'm still so upset and this was like 2 weeks ago. Phil if you've never been told you definitely should find another professional
