Darshan Patel, was extremely disappointing. My 3 year old has Autism level 2 and was very patient however he's non-verbal and grunts. Darshan was rolling his eyes and grunting back at my child. When I told him to if he could discontinue the faces toward my son and if he could change his tone as it was adding to the distress. he said "it's him not me and I have sensitive ears." AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS*** If i could give a negative 5 stars i would lets just start off with dont waste your time going to this doctor if you have a back bone and stick up for yourself and hope to have the respect in return, because let me tell you what this dr has to be the most egotistical uptight disrespectful jerk and will not let you get a word in edge wise due to the fact i was left without medication i filed a grievance and when i went into my apt mind you each apt i would wait in the waiting room for an hour + each time for a five min visit...then to get called back and left in a room for a crazy amount of time to get yelled at and chewed out for filing a complaint with my insurance company and told that my wait times are due to the fact that the dr has to go through the complaints made by patients and that he doesnt have time to deal with them so it takes away from his patients....what a total joke of a dr and dont ever expect to get a person to pick up in the front office because the four women working in the front are a waste they dont do jack besides sit there and chat about there days and such and are annoyed when they have to do there job with patients...such a joke of an office and then when you have medication needed to be filled the jerk of a doctor will send your medications to a pharmacy that is ran by HIS SISTER! sketchy bs right there and she is a bitch in her own world over there. so please by all means avoid this dr at all costs and dont waste your time. read more

If I could pick zero I would. This Dr is awful I've been seeing him for about 6 months and has done nothing to help me!! Ordered a lumbar puncture that procedure left a CSF leak so had to back to ER 3 days later to get a blood patch. When I followed up with Dr I asked for drs note because I had to call off due to the excruciating migraine I had plus throwing up he had the nerve to tell me no he's not the one who told me to call off even though it was from a procedure he ordered..this man has no empathy and no bed side manner!!! He never even went over my results with me and basically said my migraines were my fault even though I've been diagnosed with them since I was 15 I would NEVER recommend him for anything!!!! He's mean and will not work with you He won't return phone calls and you never wait less than two hours and sometimes I believe he answers the phone and pretends it's him...Also refuses to give me my medical records...he gave me most of them but the most important one they say they don't have!!!! read more

I was a patient of Dr Darshan Patel and I simply cannot force myself to go back to that office. Lost test results. No follow up appointments, rude staff who continuously put you on hold and leave you there for simply trying to get the results of my test I had back in February. I have been lied to as well. I have begged them to send my test results back to my primary and to date that hasn't been done as well. This is the most unprofessional rude Disgusting dirty facility ever! I do not recommend this Dr at all! Took 2 1/2 hours to get my 5yr old seen by the Dr. The front desk people are so out of order they have attitude and are just rude ! I walked out! This doctor's office is horrible. I usually have a decent amount of patience, but this place really takes the cake. Idk how people can put up with this. Had an apt at 930, and was in the waiting room form about 50 minutes before they took me to my room. Now I'll be waiting another hour before the doctor sees me. Then he'll spend about 5 minutes with me for my prescription refill. Yes, I've tried calling to see if they can just issue it over the phone, but the call was never returned. So here I am, spending 3 hours of my day waiting for something that takes 5 minutes to do, probably less. I really hate this place. The doctors seem half baked to me too. I just need them to fill my prescriptions. I need to actually spend some time looking for a decent set of doctors in the desert. These are cutting it. I would absolutely NOT recommend them. I urge EXTREME caution to anyone considering this neurology clinic, as my experience alone raises serious concerns about their practices, which might border on malpractice. If you think I'm exaggerating: look at the other reviews. As someone else said: I would rate this place a 0 if I could. I hope anyone reading this in the future finds this clinic shut down. Firstly, the clinic's billing practices are highly questionable if not borderline illegal. They charged me for ambiguous services and required substantial upfront payments, leading to complicated and stressful interactions with my insurance for refunds. This lack of transparency in billing is a red flag. Here's how they do it: they charge you upfront AND they charge your insurance--and then they refund you once they get paid from your insurance (yes you have to go back in to get your refund, and yes they will give you a hard time about it like it's your fault). My insurance was shocked and hadn't seen anything like it. During my visits, I faced excessive wait times and was subjected to procedures that seemed irrelevant and unnecessary for my condition. For example, the requirement to complete a teen suicide prevention questionnaire at every visit, despite being an adult, was bewildering and inappropriate. The most alarming aspect, however, was the mishandling of my medical care. Not only was I misinformed about the availability of my test results due to 'technical difficulties', but I also later discovered from another neurologist that the tests were improperly conducted. Furthermore, these results were supposed to be sent directly to my orthopedist, not the neurologist at this clinic; so I attended and was charged for a service that not only should not have been scheduled--but the doctor was neither qualified nor should have had the documents to provide such a service. Attempts to communicate with the clinic were met with significant challenges. The absence of an email address for direct contact and the near impossibility of reaching their billing department (let alone their front desk) added to the frustration. When contact was finally made, the staff's demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive--my insurance and I were both put on hold for 20, 30 minutes, even an hour--and then hung up on. Based on my experience, the lack of professionalism, transparency, and proper medical protocol at this clinic is deeply concerning. For anyone seeking reliable and ethical neurological care, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The risks associated with the practices at this clinic are too great to ignore. The only reason I went here was to see a neurologist 1 month earlier than elsewhere--and I have paid dearly for it. Do not make the same mistake I and the other reviewers here have made! read more

This place is one of the worst places I've ever been to my grandfather, used to go here, and kept prescribing him medication for his dementia, and my grandfather was having bad reactions to it. I would bring it up to his attention and he would tell me it's the dementia, even though he did not show any of these signs before and then he's put on hospice time goes on and then hospice notices the change and decides to wing him off of that dementia medicine and just use a simple anxiety medicine took my grandfather off of hospice because he got so much better a year later I go back to this doctor because I noticed a change in my grandpa the doctor belittle me and doesn't even listen to anything I have to say and then proceeds to give him the same dementia medicine that he gave two years ago and now my grandfather is back in the situation that he was in and as of yesterday, I look through all the reviews on this doctor they're horrible I would be dumb if I allowed my grandfather to go back there, I have him off his medicine and now he is doing great. I got a referral and now I'm gonna be going to Loma Linda. This guy should not have a practice. He should not have a license. He is not here to help anyone or to even listen to what you have to say he's more concerned about being audited, he tried to give me grief because he saw the gap between the last time he saw my grandfather and now, but like I told him he was on hospice so he didn't need to see his primary doctor because they all came to him, but now that he's off now he needs to have regular doctors appointments again but he wasn't trying to listen to that. He was more worried about being audited and how they're gonna come after me, he wasn't listening to anything I had to say at all instead of paying attention to my grandfather and assessing him and just seeing where he's at all he did was belittle me and criticize me and then on top of it prescribe a medicine to my grandfather that put him in hospice in the first place he didn't even say one word to him, but hes prescribing medicine and giving me the third degree. He did absolutely nothing with my grandfather, except talk me down and make me feel worse than what I already feel so I don't even know how he was able to prescribe when he didn't even touch him or look in his eyes, his ears did any kind of testing to see where he stands in his medical condition did nothing and then after you give him the same medicine that put him in hospices this last time he proceeded to still give it to him and tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. My baby had him as a pediatrician until my baby was 8 months old... Let me start off saying of course he was kind in the hospital, but after the visits going to him he wasn't very nice he treated me like I didn't know anything and of course my baby was my first so I had a million questions to ask... and then his staff the girl who runs the front desk she's very rude. Every time you go in there the window is always closed just so private and not welcoming. I definitely had to end up switching eventually because just didn't like the atmosphere not even a hello nothing. And the dr he was just plain rude. He kept telling me things and of course I would freak out... just not right... he is the worse doctor honestly. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Just left this "Drs" office. All I can say is this man has serious issues with talking down to women. He treated my daughter and I as if we were completely ignorant, told me I was in denial, that he wouldnt speak to me anymore regarding questions of how hes determined my grandson is high functioning Autistic, or "selective mutism", or "severe ADHD". This was his diagnosis based on the fact that he had to sit in the office for 2 hours, hot, sweating, nothing to do, not even a paper towel to wash your hands or a tissue to blow your nose. This place and this Dr need to seriously go back to school and learn how to properly speak to clients, and have bedside manners. And furthermore, they charged us for the lab results. Do not go to this neurologist. Dr. Patel is absolutely the most rude doctor I have ever met in my life. He talked to me during my two visits as if i didn't know anything. He asked if i learned anything in Biology class after I asked him about my migraines. Every time I tried to ask a question he would roll his eyes and speak in a tone that made me feel like i didn't know anything. He treated me more like a nuisance rather than a medical client. He tried to lecture me about how stressed out I am and that all i need to do is sleep and that there is nothing wrong with me after I told him I had a bad history with migraines. He told my aunt in the room that she is naive and that she needs to "remember how to speak English" after she told me something in my native language. He is very rude, condescending, and i would not recommend him to anybody. Dr. D. Patel is a total joke. He doesn't listen. I told him my blood pressure meds were giving me headaches and making me dizzy. He called me a liar. He told me to stop all my meds except for the blood pressure meds; the next day I fainted from high blood pressure. Thank God for a wonderful Cardiologist who realized the BP meds WERE giving me the headaches and dizziness. Dr. Patel's DIAGNOSIS has given me so much anxiety...think twice about seeing him. read more
