They even had a little craft project at the end of class that tied into the book theme. We really enjoyed that. The songs were so fun and interactive and the staff leader was so sweet with the kids. The library was very very clean and organized. So far my favorite Snohomish location we have checked out yet. Looking forward to the nexts story time.

Grandma and I like to come to Oak Harbor Library to pick out movies to watch together when I spend…read moreovernights with her. Sometimes she will have some items on hold and we will pick those up too. They also have an area with books for sale, which we have perused on occasion just for light reading or looking for presents. The movie section is located just inside the front door and movies are shelved by category. I find this convenient if not familiar with the movie titles, it gives at least a genre to start the search for a good watch. There are self check-out and worker check-out options. We typically go the self check-out way. A returns slot is located outside the main entrance to the library. Parking is available in both a larger lot and in a few quick visit (15 minutes or less style thing) spots. The quick visit spots have less of an incline between then and the entrance of the library, which is helpful if anyone in the visiting party has difficulty with inclines.

Haven't used the publoc library in ages, but my husband and I needed just moved to Oak Harbor amd…read moreneeded to print amd scan papers. The lady at the front was super helpful and getting a library card was easy. We got what we needed done with no expense amd realized we should use this free service more often. I also borrowed some books and dvds which will help keep is bisy while waiting for our house.

This library is great for so many reasons. First, right off the bat, they don't charge late fees…read moreand report you to the credit agencies if you don't pay, like the Mount Vernon library. They have a great selection of books, audio books, music and movies. If you're a member, they even have classes you can take with the online part of the library. They have so many things that the offer, most people don't even know about them. Also, they sell books in the lobby that are one of the best book selections around. People that read interesting material bring there books there to donate. I've purchased one or two books every time I'm there. And those prices beat out Value Village and Goodwill. This is a library worth the trip and you'll enjoy the nice quiet experience and the friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommend making this part of your days.

I like the cleanliness and newer look of this library. Furniture is nice, they have all kinds of…read moreseating, a kids area, teen area, quiet rooms, group study rooms, a computer area and everything is nicely organized. Huge plus for the air purifiers around too. I usually come in the morning on weekdays and it's never very busy. My favorite area is the couch chairs in the back which has nice lighting and is a peaceful place to read. It's also next to a large meeting room which I've never seen used but it's very spacious, equipped with tables, chairs, and whiteboards.

I really loved going to this library every week as it was a good place to be and hangout with my…read morefriends, but recently i was with a group of my friends around the recetangular table in the middle, then a random guy comes out of nowhere yelling gibberish about how my friends and I where on the second floor disturbing him (me and my friends on this day were not at all on the second floor) and while saying these things, he came next to me and he clenched his fist ready to punch me. I was really scared for my life (being a high-school teenager) but the security guard, the staff and the people around us did nothing, and I and my friends were frozen in fear, the guy randomly left, so we thought he came to his senses or he realized that we were never in the second floor, so we continued on our own business. Then suddenly 10 or minutes after that, the guy shoved me hard and I knocked down one of my friends that was sitting next to me, so the rest of my friends left calmly, to call security or ask for help, and the guy that shoved me kept talking more gibberish about us in the second floor bothering him, so the person next to me was desperately trying to explain we were never in the second floor today, (keep mind that nobody including the security guards did anything, I don't think they even cared) then the guy randomly called his dog on the second floor in the library (and keep in mind that pets are strictly not allowed in the library and I was so scared the dog was going to maul me) and then the guy was yelling for the security to come (which up on to this point was literally doing nothing) and he told the security guard that we were on the second floor bothering him (the security guard knew we never were on the second floor) the security guard then said to me and the guy that we will be kicked out if we don't stop bothering each other, the guy then left to the second floor(and I was thinking thats it? You're not going to do anything about himself assaulting me?) And I was so shocked that the people around me, the security guard and the staff did nothing about this. (Also keep in mind that one time me and my friend was throwing around a light ball in the library and we were threatened to be kicked out of the library and we had to really apologize to be not kicked out) so if I throw around a ball I get kicked out of the library but if a random guy assaults me he gets of scott free. (I don't feel safe anymore in this library especially when the staff didn't care a vulnerable high-school kid was being assaulted infront of them)

Sno Isle libraries in general, and the Camano branch in particular could not do a better job for our community. between the wonderful staff and the local events provided , not to mention the amazing online resources, this is a gem of knowledge for Camano Island.

Great Camano history books to help newcomers appreciate the challenges of early island life and sporadic economy. Some seemingly repeated consistent accidents and fires changed many fortunes.

This small, quaint library does just fine for this small, quaint town. In a neighborhood, in…read morebetween multiple schools, it's a good location for after-school pit stops and midday story time, which they do offer. Lots of events for teens, toddlers, and families. Despite being a smaller library, it serves as a great pick-up location for items put on hold online. Two self checkout stations make self-service super easy. Hold area is always organized, and I can easily find my holds for a quick checkout. A few areas to sit and work in the teen section, not as much as Marysville library but I've never seen it completely full. Computer use stations I have seen fully occupied however. Staff has always been helpful and polite. Ample parking, including street parking, private lot, and the gravel lot. Inside has always been clean and free of offensive odors. The sidewalk out front is old and uneven, as is the parking lot - most likely from the huge tree roots but if you're watching where you're going, it shouldn't be an issue. Hoping it doesn't cause complications for those needing level ground.

I was in Redmond and decided to stop by to try to get a library card for the King County Library…read moreSystem, and it worked! A section with a few computers near the entrance is dedicated to applying for a new library card and you'd have to fill out an application on a website on the computer. Then, you go up to the librarians to have your application processed. The librarian was very detail oriented and friendly, I loved talking to her. The library is medium sized, not too big for a library, but still felt wide and spacious. There is AC and I like that there is a bus stop right outside so that I can comfortably wait for the bus that takes me home.

I normally visit the…read moreBellevue location, but while I was in the area, I decided to check out what the selection was like here on a Friday. And it was a solid library with books to explore and purchase. The Redmond library is located across from city hall and is walking distance to the Redmond Transit Center. When I visited on a Friday afternoon the library was quiet and did not have as many people here as the Bellevue location normally has, which was nice. When you enter the library, there are shelves near the entrance for books to purchase from the Friends of the Library sale, which is worth a gander for some really cheap deals. I was easily able to return books and browse through the selection, as the different sections were easy to find and there was ample seating. Not far from where I work out, I'll make Redmond library an option for when I need to return or pick up books.
