Matt reached out to me within an hour of me submitting an inquiry online, and it was all downhill from there. He explains every step of the process thoroughly and his passion for jewelry, especially diamonds, was felt immediately. He walks you through each step of the design experience, and doesn't just focus on the final result. He builds a personal relationship with his customers along the way. I think this gives his customers a leg up because they learn everything about the jewelry they're buying, and are more well-informed in their decisions. He made buying an engagement ring a great experience for me, and my wife was so happy with it that we had him design and build our wedding bands as well. Beautiful work and an amazing buying experience - we recommend Cardamone for any and all custom diamond jewelry you may be looking for! -Erik D.

My fiancé and I came across Cardamone on Yelp and could not have been more pleased…read more We absolutely Loved the whole process. As well enjoyed being apart of custom designing our wedding bands. Not only would we highly recommend this to family and friends, but we will for sure be repeat customers. You set an appointment to meet with Mathew, who after talking to him you can clearly tell he is knowledgable and loves what he does. Then unlike big brand stores he is totally willing to work with your specific needs. I gave him quite the challenge with a special request on my wedding band and he spent time with me creating exactly what we discussed. He took measurements of my engagement ring so he was able to create my band all without taking my engagement ring away from me for weeks. The quality was amazing too. Another important piece for me is his customer service level is absolutely outstanding. He's accommodating to your schedule and meeting locations. As well responds promptly to email, call and text. Then like that wasn't enough, his prices are untouchable!!!!! Definitely recommend this!

Eddie and his team made our engagement ring shopping experience so pleasant! My fiancé and I were…read moreon vacation and had just gotten engaged that morning. We wanted to go ring shopping in New Hampshire for the sales tax savings. Eddie's store was the only one open on a Sunday so to be honest, we walked in not expecting much. We were instantly greeted by an employee and saw the exact ring style we had been looking for. We started talking to Eddie and he sold us with his experience, knowledge, customer service and price! Eddie did not pressure us at all. He took the time to educate us on the diamonds and metals. He had clear, up front, no nonsense pricing. We even made upgrades and customizations to the ring and Eddie did not nickel and dime us! We had done a lot of research online and Eddie's prices and quality are far more superior to anything you'd find online. Since we were on vacation we expected to have the ring shipped to us back home but luckily we mentioned we'd be in Manhattan in a week and Eddie stated we'd be able to meet him in the jewelry district to pick it up! We were able to complete our engagement vacation with our perfect customized ring. We can't thank Eddie enough for our beautiful piece of jewelry, we'll definitely be creating future pieces with him again!

The past nine months I've been trying to get them to install new fireplace doors, which is not a major install. Their "one-man shop" Kevin came out to our house early autumn of 2022 to take measurements and give us a quote and then again three months later in December 2022 when we hadn't heard anything back. He apologized for "dropping the ball" and assured us he would get the job going. On 12/10/22 he sent us a rough outline of the work they would perform and I wrote back the same day saying sign us up, whatever money you need in advance we can provide by check or credit card. One thing led to another and we never heard back from them. Small business's can get busy and I was busy as well, and the winter passed by. So yesterday, 6/22/23, I called them up saying things must have gotten lost in the shuffle, but I wanted to see if they could do the fireplace door. No harm done, we just wanted to pick off where we left off. Kevin got super defensive right away saying I had never gotten back to them. I was stunned and I sent him my email from 12/10/22, which clearly had said sign us up, whatever money you need up front I can provide. So then he changed his story to that I had never sent a check...totally bizarre considering I had never been asked for a payment amount. But this revised story was also BS, when Kevin left our house in December he said he would reach out to a subcontractor to install what's called a lintil, which is like a frame in which the fireplace doors sit. He and Nordic Stove Shoppe just never followed through on what they said they'd do. We all make mistakes or miss things, myself included, I was just calling up to see if we could get it done over the summer when presumably it would be less busy. The CYA, defensiveness, and leveling of blame by Nordic Stove Shoppe was bizarre and unprofessional. Kevin cut the call short by saying he felt sure they wouldn't want my business and the owner Ed followed up this morning telling me to take my business somewhere else. After nine months of waiting on them! The owner Ed followed up with a checklist of how they do businesses, which was particularly ridiculous because I had followed every step in their process. Unprofessional, dishonest, and really at the end of the day weaselly. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This company is not to be trusted.
