In addition to their large selection of beautiful speciality yarns, Top Drawer sells high quality needles and has a variety of gorgeous projects on display to spur on your creativity. There are few places to sit and the cozy atmosphere of the room is the perfect place to spend a hour or two. I've often come in to see a few women with their projects on their laps, and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. When I was last in, this January, I didn't even make it through the door when I was greeted and asked if I could be helped. Follow the signs from Books and Company, and take a trip up the stairs; you'll be glad you did!

The shop owner was friendly and charming and found everything I needed right away. I had fun showing her patterns as she tallied my purchases. Great selection, great service.

I love love this shop. So much to see and discover about the modern fabrics, books, patterns,…read morenotions, yarn, bag accessories, etc. I have to go often to get my fabric fix for the week! Kayda regularly gets new items/fabric in. She is very knowledgeable about fabric and quilting. If she doesn't have something I am looking for she will always try to get it in for me. I can't say enough about this wonderful shop. Hands down it is the best quilting shop in Prince George and area.

Literally the worst service. I just got engaged and was excited to start crafting. I saw online…read morethat I could do curbside. I had a 60% of coupon really just wondering where I could use it. I call customer service and I was told straight up "that's a separate with it being online, I can't help you." Fine, I tried letting it go and ordered online for curbside. As I arrived to curbside and called like suggested I was rudely answered by phone. Asking me if I "even got an email, do you even know if your order is ready?" Before even knowing. Having it been 5 hours since my order was placed she made me feel stupid. I was just surprised why the need to be so rude. We end up exchanging i went to pick up my items. As I went back to the car I wanted to make sure A. My order was ready and B. That I didn't need anything else....before I got to finalize I had a knock on my window from an employee asking if I got all my items. I said yes I just wanted to verify I didn't need anything else. She then tells me " Well this is our busy time and your order wouldn't be ready today anyways." Even then I didn't know but there is a way to speak to people, times are rough now and kindness goes a long way. "I then said no problem, I wanted to know just in case I should order for tomorrow then. She said "our busy time is right now so if you leave that would be great, thanks." Never in my life have I been talked to. I wanted to go off but better yet I will never shop at this location again.
