My first time to ever enter this pub was for a wedding reception - probably not a typical venue but then again, I don't have a regular bunch of friends.
It's delightfully unusual. There's a mismatch of decorations everywhere, so it's pretty much Christmas all year round, oh and Halloween, and not forgetting summer. It's class.
The layout is super weird. I like it.
My only beef is that they don't have a lot of "normal" beers on tap, the likes of Budweiser and Coors. They do a mean Jameson & Ginger Ale, though.
The toilets are in the basement and I actually felt like I was walking myself to a premature death, it's freaky!
The bar staff are awesome (and very handsome!)
I would say the music could be a little louder, but then again, we had a band playing for a lot of the time.
There's a few floors, which is good because there's not a lot of room and we had a huge crowd in for the wedding, it got cramped very quickly.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. It's handy to get to and very handy to catch a cab when you're leaving. I'll definitely have to come back here! read more
