With the color of the bridesmaid dresses, I felt I definitely needed more color than I had and was planning on running to the tanning bed a few times, if I was even going to have time, but am so glad I didn't. I don't think I'll ever use a tanning bed again. This looks so natural and saves your skin! I got a lot of compliments from the other bridesmaids too!

This reviews speaks to the owner of the business, not necessarily her staff employed (questionable…read moreon certified licenses opposed to on the job training) all the same I've always being a supporter15 plus years since meeting Lori back when she was employed by LUV on Woodward in RO, business no longer around but we established a friendship which carried over to creating years of support of her business(s), establishing clients to her business, many of my family and friends to start, what I thought was a friendship, for I was a genuine supporter of all things amazing sadly this is what brings this post to the YELP PLATFORM (one of many) Lori knowing the purchaser of a gift card for me, knowing how dear this individual is to our family leads to why this post is going viral on Yelp, I've waited for a resolution since 12/2024 & confirmed NO REFUND. Also NOTE ; even though a fall out occurred my husband WAS A CLIENT until LORI CROSSED A DEAR FAMILY FRIEND, the friend she didn't refund, she knows this person is dear to our family but doesn't care obviously about that only her pockets. I tried to go the way of adulthood but LORI reaching out, her (LORI) resolution was none - No refund, an offer of a gift card to purchaser who would have ZERO REASON to be a client therefore LORI gets the kickback, such a scam The purchaser was unaware of my upset with Lori but LORI WAS NOT UNAWARE OF PURCHASER despite KNOWING I SEVERED TIES AND STILL TOOK LORI TOOK THE $$ ZERO stars to this business & it's established owner LORI (feel free to message me for in-depth details) I appreciate this platform of YELP for all things TRANSPARENCY which is important to hard working consumers It saddens me to leave such a review but it would make me feel worse if I didn't considering high end prices, inflation & slow services of questionable VALID COSMETOLOGIST(s) LICENSE(s) of staff on site. So here's my review, like it, love it, take it as you will, I went the responsible adult route ONLY to be disrespected & met with further upset I believe in all things honest being from a family of a FAMILY owned and operated business since 1954; Expert Carpet Cleaning therefore I only review a business BAD or GOOD, no in between - this is HORRIBLE, so sad. This review speaks to the owner, again available via message on Yelp to any who would like to inquire further with me. Spring / Summer around the corner, I've waited for a resolution since 12/2024 only to be met with disrespect, hung up on and ridiculed by the owner hence my review regarding THIS GIRL BEAUTY SPA Frustrating Experience with Lack of Refund I am writing this review due to an upsetting experience with THIS GIRL BEAUTY which is owned by someone I once considered a friend. A DEAR FAMILY, trusted family friend purchased a gift card valued at $50 from Lori intending to treat someone special, (ME) but unfortunately, the experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite my previous relationship with the owner, I am no longer a client and have made several attempts to resolve a refund for the gift card after it could not be used. I reached out on to request a refund on behalf of my friend who felt bad because I didn't receive the card. She received an email saying I did but thru conversation it was discovered that no I did not, I felt horrible about this and numerous requests to LORI have gone unanswered, and I have not received the courtesy of a timely response, hence this review WORSE MY FRIENDS HARD EARNED $$ went NOWHERE BUT TO LORI, that's not good business. It is disheartening to see a business owner, especially someone I once trusted, take money without providing a refund when I clearly stated my situation. I had hoped to resolve this matter amicably without having to resort to leaving a review, but my attempts have been ignored. I genuinely hope that THIS GIRL BEAUTY can improve its communication and customer service practices in the future. It's vital for businesses to treat all customers--past and present--with respect and consideration. I've no problem with prices but LOYALTY IS A 2 WAY STREET, where I go now, my husband and daughter included - less cost ; better results !!! HAPPY SUMMER TO ALL!!
