I really love this place. First time getting a spray tan in many years. They really took their time to explain the process as well as email you a link prior to going to best prepare your skin for the tan. They provide all the necessary equipment to ensure you don't have to get sprayed in your own clothing. Then give you a detailed introduction so that you can choose the best option for your skin type. Very professional and nice, I'll definitely go back. I loved the results. read more

I was a spray tan virgin. I made an appointment through yelp to get a spray tan for upcoming vacation. Erin was awesome!! She instructed me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable and not self conscious. She recommended a great color and it looks fantastic!! I'll be back! read more

Went for a trail spray before my wedding and the left so many spots unsprayed like parts of my armpits under my butt and a large part on my back and my wrist I definitely don't recommend in you have and crease in your skin anywhere they will forget to spray it also I asked for somthing very very light and natural because I am fair skinned and a red head and this is a very dark tan for my skin tone I had to go in with a self tanner to get all the spots they miss definitely won't be returning read more

Had a great spray tan experience with Erin. She took me back exactly at my appointment time and instructed me through the entire process. She was super sweet and funny. Will be coming back just for her The inside was very clean and organized. Inside the spray tan room, they provide you with hair ties, baby wipes, disposable panties, and more. My tan looks amazing! read more

I knew about SprayChic from other dancers in the area, but I had never done a spray tan before. An opportunity came along to try it out, and I was a bit nervous, but it was a great experience. They made me feel very comfortable, and the location is very nice. The pricing is reasonable, and there are a lot of options available. I highly recommend it. read more

SprayChic Airbrush Tanning - I am sitting on the ledge in the foreground. This was an accelerated custom spray tan, showering about an hour after for a light tan. - Spray Tanning Near Me - Wixom, Michigan

Great experience. Felt comfortable and Meghan was very professional. I will definitely be back!

I've been here a handful of times since it was recommended to me this past summer. This place is great! I really hadn't had many spray tans before so I was a bit nervous how it would turn out. They were very professional here and they really know what they're doing. My spray tans have turned out great - you can definitely tell that you look darker, but it looks natural. The place is clean and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it. read more

The people there are nice but the after tan was not good and when I contacted the place, with pictures, a day after my spray tan to voice my concerns on how the tan did not turn out they asked me what I did wrong! Not apologizing or ask me what they could do to make the situation better, only asked me what I did wrong. I got a spray tan for my mom's wedding and it's upsetting it did not turn out. read more

Awesome service!! Expensive but worth it every time. Good advice and technique. The spray tan booths are horrible. Don't waste your time & $ with those. read more

SprayChic's spray tans time and time again come out perfectly. I always am extremely happy with the end result and have gone back multiple times only for the tan to be a success each time. The staff is so friendly and makes the experience seamless. Once you go to SprayChic, you will most definitely become a regular customer! read more

I'm not really a very vain or appearance-focused person, but I'm also not immune to curiosity, or to trying new things. I was headed for a wedding, and had been feeling run down in the weeks prior. Considering that my complexion is so light that sometimes people ask "are you OK?!" under normal circumstances, I figured that I would take a chance, do something pretty out of character for me, and try the very ever-so-lightest spray tan I could try. I was apprehensive. What if something went wrong? What if it was too dark? What if it was awkward? I was going for a "hey, I'm not an apparition!" look -- not a organge-y Lohan look. Well, Carissa (Spray-Chic's owner) was very sweet -- both in addressing my worries and making me feel comfortable during the process itself. My experience was very similar to Kelley's... even though I'm very light, the "winter glow" did end up looking very natural, and didn't cause any complications with my sensitive skin. I often appear as a ghost in photos, and this time, I didn't appear as Casper-ish as I usually do when posed next to more moderately-complected folks at the celebration. Another unexpected side-benefit? I usually bruise very easily, but even the light tan helped me not to look so black-and-blueish. It's probably not something that I would do regularly, but honestly, it made me feel like I had a more of a glow than a pallor, and sometimes in the gray gloom of Michigan winter, that counts for something that's more than simply cosmetic! read more

I've always gone to the machine spray on tans but now that I've experienced a Airbrush Tan I'm hooked. My 1st time there they gave me a consultation of explaining what was going to happen and what shade of color I wanted. Then I went into a private room and got a custom spray, the room was warm and it didn't take long at all....she even gave me cheekbones, very cool! I was super excited when she was finished as the color was amazing and natural, no streaks or orange color....just a beautiful golden tan! Everyone who works there are helpful and very friendly. This was the first time I've ever gotten spray tanned, of course I've attempted doing self tanners and ended up looking ridiculous in the past like a majority of the population but that was the extent. I was nervous going in with a stranger seeing my plus size physique but Carissa was very sweet, kind and personable, her warmth radiates and truly set me at ease. I loved that Carissa took the time to educate me on what she was using, the process and what to expect. She also welcomed concerns and feedback. She also customized my color, I COMPLETELY LOVE IT. They provide nose filters and hairnets. She took her time and the French manicure on my nails and toes couldn't be more perfect. My advice- Listen to everything Carissa says and come prepared, it will only make your tan more long lasting. I'm thrilled that I found SprayChic and will be back, it was a overall wonderful experience. Thank you SprayChic, hopefully you expand to my side of town. A girl can only hope! read more

The best spray tan in Michigan. Hands down. I have been a client of Carissa and Dennis for years and I cannot say enough of how good they are. They are so caring, friendly and professional. And their work speaks for itself. Great color. Beautiful salon :) read more

Has it really been 7 years since I first reviewed SprayChic Airbrush Tanning?! As the other now 50+ reviews attest, this is without a doubt the best spray tan experience. Carissa has created a spray tan business that is client driven with a keen attention to detail. It's the little things like having hair ties, private rooms, applying your barrier cream with care and brilliant spraying of the actual tan. Today Carissa even asked to do a little contour on my cheekbones - hello! amazing! The color is always natural looking with no weird post tan smell or feel. I also used the Novell exfoliator pre-tan and will use the body lotion and wash post-tan. The products have a nice scent and feel great. I still highly recommend SprayChic if you want a spray tan. read more

These girls are knowledgable, patient, kind and welcoming. Incredibly professional and show gratitude for their customers. I'm a huge fan and hope they continue to thrive. What is particularly great about my experience - my wedding is this weekend and I have the utmost confidence that I will look and feel my best. That's a testimony to the attention to detail that SprayChic is great for anyone - even dudes like me. Five stars, without a doubt. read more

This was my first spray tan and Im not super in shape. I was immediately intimated by baring it all but staff made it very comfortable. They were friendly and kept me chatting to distract. My friend came along and unfortunately when we were done and went to drive home her tan sweated off all over the passenger seat. I would strongly recommend staying in front of the fan after being sprayed as long as possible. We have the air on full blast in the car and it still spread. Perhaps long pants would be better. The tan itself was as even and a perfect glow as requested. It did turn darker and more orange as the days went on but seemed to tone down after waiting almost 48 hours to shower. The only part both my friend and I could not get over was the tiny dots on our legs where your hair follicles are - it made us look like we had really course hair and was unsightly to wear the short dress I had planned for the party we were attending. In addition as the tan faded, it did in sections so it looked like tiny little stretch marks on my stomach for days pushing me to wear a one piece at the pool. Overall, this tan was great for an occasion, but the maintenance would be too much for me on a regulat basis. read more

Great spray tan...I've used Carissa three times for spray tan and one of those times was before my wedding. I went the day before because I trusted her so much too! She answers any questions you have too. The tan looks really natural and she makes you feel really comfortable. I have gone to both her house & her studio in birmingham. I will continue to use spraychic before any event! read more

I have been almost everywhere in the metro detroit area trying to find the perfect spray tan and here it is! First off the women who work here are GREAT. They put time and effort into your spray and literally get every little nook and cranny. Not to get into specifics but literally everywhere was perfectly tan. I've gone to lots of other places and no other girls spraying me have ever sprayed me this in depth and well. Now for the actual tan! Its beautiful, it won't flake, it won't streak, it won't turn your armpits green, and it won't fade fast. Worth every last penny, I will never spray tan at another place again. read more

I'm Pale. Big time. Carissa made me glow like I just came back from a Caribbean cruise. I will admit- I was concerned about the shade I would receive and praying that I wouldn't be too orange...there was NO orange to speak of... just a golden, buttery sun-kissed glow that looked natural on my Irish skin. Carissa rocks and is the epitome of professional. I had some scheduling conflicts, as most Mothers do, but she worked with me and was gracious about it. I felt completely comfortable in her presence and she answered my questions before I had the chance to ask them. I loved everything about my tanning experience! I love the fact that I never have to risk a bad sunburn again for just a HINT of color. Treat yourself, you deserve it! I guarantee you will LOVE the way you look with your Spray Chic airbrush tan!!! read more

Absolutely loved my experience here! I have gotten spray tans in the past but never has it lasted and looked this good. Carissa really took her time getting to understand what I wanted and making me feel confident in taking care of my tan. I was nervous it would fade or get spotty and i was going to Vegas for a long weekend and wanted to look great. The tan lasted all weekend and once it did start to fade, it looked natural and not the spotty orange effect I've had in the past. Thank you Carissa for taking your time and giving me a get tan! I will be back! read more

WOW!!!!! This was my first ever spray tan and I had the greatest experience with Carissa. She made me feel COMPLETELY comfortable and very welcome. Carissa is wonderful, she made me feel like we'd known each other for forever. I'm a light skinned black woman and she assured me I would look good, guess what.....I LOVED the tan I receieved thru Spray Chic and WOULD highly recommend it to EVERYONE!!! Carissa was also very through in making sure everything was explained to me for after care and maintenance, she also answered any and all questions I had or thought I would have at any point. If I could give SprayChic 10 stars I would! I have been going to Carissa for 10+ years, and I have gotten such amazing service and amazing tans since. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and make sure you are completely satisfied before you leave. Very easy to work with and will change your appointment to accommodate your scheduled. The spray tans I have received make you feel that you are glowing and natural. I would highly recommend this company for weekly use, vacation use, special occasions, pretty much for any reason. Incredibly clean, and comfortable environment. The technician sits with you beforehand and explains color choices, as well as a recommended color, along with post spray instructions. Instructions are easy to follow, and the technicians are very easy to talk to making you feel very comfortable. There was never any uncomfortable silence, which you would somewhat expect in such a vulnerable scenario. This is a great salon for clients with respiratory conditions considering they offer disposable nose plugs to avoid any contact into the respiratory tract Overall it was a great experience! Carissa and her team are top shelf!! I've only done two appointments, (with a long span between them) but during my most recent visit, I felt like I'd been going every week based on a warm welcome and conversation like you'd have with a close neighbor or long time friend. Process is extremely simple and I felt and looked like a million bucks at each of the events I attended a few days after each visit. For those who've never tried it (especially the men out there who think this is a "women's only thing) go try it! For those of you who are trying to figure out where to go, your search has ended. No need to look further than the best! Just a great experience with a great group and a great product! read more

Highly highly recommend!!! I had never gotten a spray tan before and found this place on Yelp! I chose to drive 30 minutes away to go here due to the amazing reviews. Would definitely tell everyone to go here if in the Metro Detroit area. Lots of options and amazing results. read more

i came by here last night for the first time and ashley did an AMAZING job! i have done automatic spray tan booths a billion times but the color she choose was PERFECT. i did the full body spray and she gave me really good, clear information for when to shower and how to maintain the tan. She also did a really fantastic job with the spray itself. highly, highly recommend! read more

Love the place and the personnel! Excellent job! Knew exactly what we wanted and delivered!

I've never had a spray tan until I discovered SprayChic. I'm not a 20 something hard body competing in pagents. Just a lady wanting to look a little less than pasty white once in a while. My experience at spray chic was AMAZING. The experience was totally comfortable. I've booked appointments with both Carissa and Kristen. My tan was even and long lasting. I got soo many compliments from friends on how healthy I looked and a few even thought I lost weight. if ypu are new to tanning or a regular- try this place and you won't be dissappointed. read more

I've been getting airbrush tans since high school due to my extremely pale skin and can honestly say that SprayChic Airbrush tanning is the best of the best. Carissa is wonderful- extremely professional and helpful, and her condo (where the service is performed if you choose) is beautiful. Yet more importantly, the solution which she uses is a natural, rich color that never appears to be orange. I would highly recommend SprayChic Airbrush Tanning to anyone with no hesitation. read more

I cannot say enough good things about SprayChic and Carissa! She is always warm and welcoming, I have been sprayed by both her and Dennis, and they both do a great job! You can tell Carissa truly enjoys what she does, and she makes you feel great! My tan never looks orange or fake, it's so natural and fades slowly and naturally! I had a problem with a spray once, and it happened to just be a bad batch of solution, Carissa was quick to fix the problem and made sure I was happy in the end! Not many business would do that! I will never get a spray tan anywhere else, and have and will continue to recommend SprayChic to all my friends and family! read more

I had an appt last night with Dennis for a facial tan and this morning I'm glowing as beautiful as the sun. I already have somewhat of a tan complexion with yellow undertones but during winter you'll never know it. I could no longer wait for summer so I decided to give spraychic a try. I was nervous at first because I didnt want to turn orange which tends to happen when i use self-tanners on my face. Dennis knew exactly the formula to use and was very helpful as well as professional. The customer service was outstanding. He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied before I left. Kudos to him and his wife for a wonderful home business. read more

This is the first review I've written but I had to share my experiences hoping it will help others who are also apprehensive about spray tans! First, the color of the tan turns out amazing. I've been twice now and am a redhead with very fair skin so I'm always very nervous about a tan coming out orange (that has happened a lot). I get the personalized spray by an associate and they make you feel SO comfortable. Second, the whole staff is so so nice. I had to call to change my appointment 3 times and they're so accommodating. Third, The owner Carissa is AMAZING! I told her my apprehension about spray tans being a redhead. She assured me she could customize a tan that I would be comfortable with and said she would spray me herself being that she is a redhead as well and even squeezed me in really late one time. She trains her staff to be detail oriented - they even put lotion on your nails so they don't turn colors! I could go on and on. There is a reason they are so highly rated. Go in and see Carissa to see for yourself:) read more

SprayChic Airbrush Tanning - Spray Tanning Near Me - Wixom, Michigan

This place is amazing. Was very apprehensive about getting a spray tan before my wedding because I am naturally incredibly pale and I didn't want to end up looking like a pumpkin. Carissa suggested the winter glow ~ she was right, it was the perfect balance. I didn't look like a ghost on my wedding day, and I still looked like myself! read more

I was visiting the area for a special occasion and needed to get a 'it's not winter anymore' glow. I was impressed with the entire process at SprayChic! You make an appointment and they confirm for you online, you are greeted by the tanning consultant when you first arrive, and they have super private rooms to do the spraying. I am a veteran of another bronzing bar in Portland, OR and I have to say SprayChic is even BETTER! I loved their personal touch to service and that they give you great recommendations for the shade of tan to choose and how to prolong the tan. I'd recommend getting there a bit early as the signage outside their building is not that great, and parking can be a bit challenging. Five stars. Love this place and have recommended to all my friends in the Detroit metro area. read more

I just had a spray tan done by Carissa. She is so professional and outstanding with her craft. The place is clean and well run. I was nervous about getting it done right because you never know who really is good and which reviews are skewed (friends and family). I did a lot of research and hands down they are the real deal. No need to pump up the reviews. I couldn't be happier and am so excited to find a great service so I don't have to wreck my skin in the sun or tanning beds. Thanks Carisa! The spray tan hides a lot of flaws!!! read more

I've been coming here while I lived in Canada just because of how amazing they make my skin look.
