I got there 15 minutes early and Amanda took me in right away. Typically I'm awkward about small talk in the salon chair but before I knew it Amanda and I were talking about everything from Deflategate to boys. I felt like I was meeting an old friend. She did a great job with my highlights. I like to get the partial to help break up my roots and she gave me a super low-maintenance cute cut. She really went above the extra mile and offered to curl my hair for me sincr I was meeing my friend. My whole service cost $105 which was a pretty good deal (I'm used to NY salon prices). If I didn't live over an hour away, this is where I would get my hair done. I highly recommend this salon whether you're a local or just a student at Keene State. My son picked it up for me because I just got discharged from the hospital and cannot drive. What I received was a No. 4 and No. 5 system for rehydrating curly hair. When I called the store to report the issue, instead of receiving an apology, I was met with a defensive explanation about how things were scanned and that's what they rely on. It seems reading is out of style these days. They made no effort to help me. They just said, "Well, bring it back to the store and we'll figure it out." So much for customer service. I guess they think they can charge high prices for their products and treat people this way, expecting we'll keep coming back? I don't think so. They better do something to make up for this hassle. I won't be buying any more Oliplex from Ulta.

She curled my hair and left it down just like I asked for, but I was convinced it wouldn't last past the ceremony. Somehow my stick straight hair maintained the most gorgeous, flowing curls all night despite being out in the snowstorm for over an hour.
