After getting competitive quotes, we chose Divinity. They had a competitive price and we had used them for a major home remodel several years ago. (Their quality of work was outstanding!) Divinity owner, Jake, walked the job with us and his crew the day the work started in order to ensure clear scope and quality requirements. He and his crew were great in interfacing with the tenants. The work was done quickly and was of high quality. We definitely refer our friends to use Jake and his Divinity crew for any of their needs.

I am so impressed with Michael's Carpet on Adams in Huntington Beach. I called them on Monday, and…read morethey were incredibly quick to assist. Austin met me at the property with carpet samples, which made the process so much easier. They also have a virtual app online that allowed me to see how the room would look with different carpet colors, which was such a helpful tool when making a decision. I was able to go into the showroom, discuss the color options, choose the carpet, and set the installation time for Tuesday evening at 4:00 PM. The installer arrived right on time at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning and was finished by 2:00 PM that same day. I was especially impressed with Lupe, the installer. He did a wonderful job, vacuumed the room, and completely cleaned up after himself. The whole experience was fast, professional, and easy from start to finish. I love supporting local Huntington Beach businesses, and Michael's Carpet truly delivered. Highly recommend!

They offered an excellent selection, and Mo quickly helped us narrow our choices without ever making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. Buying carpet can be a big investment, and he made the entire process feel easy. Mo personally measured our home, checked in during the installation, and even returned to answer our questions in person. We also appreciated the detailed pre-installation packet, which helped us know exactly what to expect. Throughout the project, we always felt that our home and our concerns mattered. Because of our remodeling schedule, we needed to install only part of our home now and save the remaining rooms for later. Mo was incredibly understanding and helped us plan ahead so we could confidently match the carpet in the future. The installation team was professional, courteous, and treated both our home and furniture with great care and respect. They worked efficiently, answered our questions, and clearly took pride in their workmanship. After a previous contractor experience that left us disappointed, working with Bixby Carpets was a breath of fresh air. Their communication, professionalism, and customer service exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We absolutely love our new Anderson Tuftex Matchstick pet friendly carpet and highly recommend Mo and the entire Bixby Carpets team. Can't believe I convinced them to delete my post a year ago, then again 3 months ago, with the…read morepromise of a timely repair. I hired them to install LVP flooring in my new construction in 2022. Their quote was the lowest, budget was tight, Yelp reviews were good, so I bit. Long story short, I got what I paid for. A below average job with a lot of headaches to deal with. A poor subflooring job by Ivan (who doesn't work for them anymore) with a floating, creaking floor by the master bedroom entrance and a speed bump in the second floor hallway led to many texts and emails, eventually someone coming to inspect, then subcontractors arriving just to cut corners and doing minimal work to make their keep, leading to a broken plank, then a new team of subcontractors coming and almost fixing it but then deciding to cut corners at the last minute when they had to return to fix a crack that occurred from their repair job and persuading me to glue down the one last plank that they couldn't fit in properly. Now I'm left with two areas where edges of planks have tilted up from getting unglued, which started only 2 weeks after their last repair in March 2026. After my last review, the owner Arthur came to inspect in June 2026 and made a promise to get it all fixed. It's October and I'm still getting the runaround, with more promises of "let's start next week," followed by silence to my check-in texts. I waited all this time because I didn't want to spend a dime to fix someone else's mistake. But it's all right. It's time to move on. I'm sure they do a good job most of the time based on all the other reviews. But not on this one. I gave them ample time to right their wrongs to avoid this review, but I guess I should have known being patient and polite does not get rewarded in this zero-sum game.

When does that ever happen in construction... I was extremely pleased with their work. They went above and beyond in clarity and speed, and highly recommend them for anyone's project, big or small.

They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. We knew that we needed an expert to complete the job without the risk of damaging them. We had a difficult decision to make and for this project, we obtained 7 quotes. After looking into each of the companies through the CSLB website, we found out that only four of them had a valid contractors license. We felt very comfortable with George, the owner of Jace. He has vast knowledge of hardwood floors with years of experience, has a friendly demeanor, and is a fellow dog rescuer. One of the other reviews mentions a customer's satisfaction with Jace's refinishing of their 100 years old floors. Though his quote was not the lowest, we chose quality over price. And we are so happy we did. Carlos, the lead tech on our project is also very knowledgeable and approachable. He answered all of our questions, and explained everything they were doing throughout the various stages of the process. Carlos's assistant, Jair is friendly and a hard worker. After the work was completed, Mike came to inspect the work, and grout the transition from our Dining Room to our kitchen. I didn't even have to ask them to do this.
