Structured FAR Part 141 syllabus and a logical flow to the training both helped our son succeed. The cost of training was estimated based on expected time in the air and not on the minimum hours the FAA requires for the private pilot license. This is very important. We would highly recommend American Flyers to any aspiring aviators beginning their training.

I called a long list of flight schools and FBOs starting south of Miami and moving up the coast and they were the first people to show me they gave a damn about my business. They searched around for life vests and headsets for me all over the airport and made sure everything was set up when I showed up to get checked out in the airplane. As for 875CD, it was a solid 172, the interior was simple, but one of the nicest I've seen for a while. I highly recommend these guys and their aircraft. Now if only the cranky old guy in the KFXE tower would stop thinking he was running JFK, then the experience would have been perfect.

There were several things that were critical to me: 1) well maintained aircraft 2) advanced cockpit/glass panel and 3) exceptionally good instruction I found all 3 at Berichi Aviation so I traveled from Virginia to knock out my add-on in short order. I had all the necessary info ahead of time which meant that we were effectively training right away. Charlie relied on his experience to assess my abilities and created a bespoke syllabus that eliminated unnecessary time or cycles. The bottom line is that I was over-prepared for my checkride, which in my experience, is exactly what I would have expected.

First the aircraft are safe, clean, and very reliable, everything works and I have not seen one INOP sticker anywhere on any one of their fleet. Also the inside of the planes are very well kept, even the older 172M looks a lot better then some of the other flight schools in South FL. Second, all the Flight instructors are very knowledgeable and very professional and treat you with dignity and respect! Third the airport KFXE is very modern and the traffic in my opinion is far less then some of the smaller training airports like KHWO. Last the organization really puts the customer first, I walked in and told them I wanted a IFR sign off in one week, the chief Pilot Joe, went above and beyond to make it happen and because of him, I am now ready for a check ride! I highly recommend SkyEagle for all your training needs!
