My latest placement brought me to this facility. Like many of the doctors in the area, they don't have a lab in-office, but have the basics for getting an annual physical. As a new member, I had to fill out some forms, and then the medical assistant weighed me and measured my height. In the past, I've had to face the wall for those, and this time I faced away from the wall... that's new for me! And my blood pressure was taken with one of the small machines, not one of the big ones. Is that the new trend? I always considered the big machines the 'professional' ones for the office, and the small ones were for personal use. I'm willing to bet studies showed there's no significant difference between the two. And then my EKGs got taken... seamless process. I then had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hassan. He was very professional, open to any questions or concerns, and overall a nice guy. He sent me off to get lab work done nearby, and then I returned to discuss those results. He kept it 100% and didn't immediately want to prescribe medicine for some high numbers I have... I appreciate his expertise. For anyone in the area, I can't find a reason to recommend someone besides Dr. Hassan.

The office is very clean, neat, and modern. The staff is pretty friendly and professional. Making an appointment has always been easy and prescriptions get sent directly to my pharmacy within an hour. Did I mention how awesome this doctor is? In October 2020, I visited this in-network provider for simple Lab work. The visit was generally…read morefine and I never met with the lead practitioner because well it was a simple lab work being done. Fast forward months later, I see that there's a lab claim on my insurance for $1,500+ and that it's my full responsibility. How can this be, if I went to in-service medical provider? Well, apparently this provider only uses one lab called bio-reference lab unless explicitly expressed by the patient to use another. This is the most backwards ass thing I have ever experienced. How can you as a provider not do your due diligence to see where my lab work needs to go? Why is that my responsibility. Why wait for some nonsense like this to happen, when you could tackle the issue on the front end? Now there's a huge possibility that I have to pay this large bill for SIMPLE LAB work because office assistants don't want to go the extra mile to check. It's disgusting as hell and I know this issue is a massive problem within the American Healthcare itself. Providers need to do better. I'm a 23 year old woman that is new to the healthcare insurance enrollment period (that typically occurs in September/October) so if you refer back to my date of service you could see that this is months into using my new insurance after being on my parents. Why must people advocate for themselves when providers should be doing their damn jobs to make sure things like this don't happen. I had one of the office assistants tell me that they don't check the specific labs that will accept a patients lab work. WELL, I'm requiring and urging you all to implement better practices within your office. There's no way WORKING PEOPLE should be stressed about paying medical bills due to your error and lack of care. I pray I am able to beat this, and that nobody comes after me later down the road. I'm simply not coming back here. I'm sure the doctors here do great work, but it was the lack of care from this office that has made me very very cautious of where I go now.

They were helpful, caring and polite the receptionist was truly made this a memorable experience. I'm a new patient and the day of my appointment it was very smooth. I received a warm and polite welcome upon arrival. The facility is very clean and looks pretty new. The staff is all women from different backgrounds that was also relatable to me as well. I was told this is a one stop shop and I'm so glad I decided to check it out. Doctor Ibe is a gem, she made sure I was all taken care off and asked all the necessary questions needed to complete my physical. Honestly, I cannot say enough great things. She attends to our son well and makes time to answer all of the questions we had. I know vaccinations are good but it always makes me sad knowing our son would cry, and every time she would assure us that we are doing the right thing and that he'll move on quickly. I love all the information print outs she gives to us after every visits and our son got a book for his birthday! The best part is Dr. Ettienne can sign! It makes our communication easier than writing on a piece of paper or having an interpreter for every visits! We will stay with Dr. Ettienne until our son ages out from a pediatric care!
