Still busy for lunch and at first there weren't any outdoor tables but somehow one became available right after we arrived. Smaller interior with sectioned dining areas and a good sized outdoor eating area. Our server recommended the Buffalo Ricotta cheese with honey truffle-wow! It was exquisite-so light with honey truffle taking it over the top. They ran out of their Rose so we went with the recommended Red-Monica de Sardegna (delicate/spicy- Sardinian) For main, despite many enticing options, we ordered Lasagna Funghi and the Ricotta Ravioli stuffed with artichokes with Cacio Pepe cream. The lasagna was like no other we've had before -must try! The Ravioli was decadent and creamy-delicious! We were talked into the fresh Panna Cotta for dessert-simple, fruity and light -just right with our espresso and milk. Our server, Anna, took great care of us-kind and patiently provided recommendations and menu option details. One of the top restaurants in the Monti area and not to be missed!

One of the times we just went in for snacky things and got the dried pork strips/sausages and the buffalo ricotta and truffle honey. So good!!! Also tried the pulpo (octopus) salad that had potatoes - I wasn't expecting it to be warm, but I really enjoyed it. Ambiance is nice and they had some local beers on tap that I also enjoyed. The outside is beautiful with all the vines. The inside of the restaurant is super cozy. Love it.

We ordered an Old Fashioned and Mojito for Apéritif and enjoyed both. Once again we moved to another table that was outside but with cover once we decided to stay for dinner. Cool Bar area and a party room that housed their extensive collection of Wine. Outdoor seating was okay. We started with the Roman style Artichoke-seemed like it was missing something so we asked for some olive oil and Balsimic vinegar which made a huge difference. The Burrata/Prosciutto starter didn't disappoint with mild, slightly salty Ham. I asked the server which she would recommend-Sea Bass or Frutti de Mare Spaghetti-Frutti de Mare (Poseidon) it is. Full of fresh seafood with a very light tomato sauce-delicious! Were able to substitute spaghetti for ravioli in the Pesto/sundried tomato entree which was a nice touch-Pesto sauce was amazing! We paired it with a recommended Rose-Calafuria-just right fruity with 100% Negroamaro grape. Service was engaged and attentive. Make this Monti stop for their extensive cocktail and wine selections!

Knowing this I know that there are cool kids out there who need to find this amazing Craft Cocktail, wine bar, bookstore, run by the very charming Danielo "Danny". We discovered it by accident and have spent almost every night in this off the beaten track libation place getting to know the owner and the regulars. Inside you will find a bookstore in the front with a fusbal table. Sit at the bar to watch the owner at work. In the back there are a few tables if you come in with an entourage. The music is amazing. Mostly remixed jazz, Frank Ocean, Seal, mixed in with a little vintage 80s music. Order - ask for a fancy gin and tonic and the owner will make an incredible drink with berries and cucumber that bring out the brightness of the gin. Ask for something special and see what happens. The wine collection is also amazing. You can also just order your standard bar fair and get a very nice cocktail. Really love this place but please keep it a secret for only the cool kids who visit Rome.

My boyfriend and I got our drinks at the bar and explored the small library area. We also decided to play some foosball, but that didn't last too long (one day, I will master the game!). Drinks here are pretty strong, so prepare for that!
