LOVE this place. Would love to come back. Ruth and Ole have a wonderful gem of a place. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't doubt it, the husband and I tried to stay an extra night, but they were actually fully booked. We stayed in the Lincoln bedroom and the room is phenomenal and bed was very comfortable. read more

We were lucky enough to catch a room opening on our way to copper harbor.Van Ruth and Abe were all fantastic hosts/hostess. It was an amazing experience and viewing all of the antiques was in itself fantastic. Van shared many stories over coffee and I totally felt like family! I strongly recommend you enjoy this great family and stay with them, I know I will the next time we are in the Keweenaw! Thank you Van, Ruth and Abe for making us feel like family. read more

Mixed review. Beautiful place great breakfast and friendly. Stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom. Nicely furnished EXCEPT the box spring matress must have beenLincoln's also. It was terrible. Didn't want to do to go to bed the second night because my back hurt so much from the first night. Almost got up to sleep on the floor. My wife had similar issues. read more

Ole, Ruth, and Abe are wonderful people. They do everything to make you feel at home. Antiques are dripping throughout the log home. There is always something interesting to look at. The rooms are themed. I have stayed in the Americana room twice. It is comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and the coffee flows freely. Their B&B is in the MOST BEAUTIFUL location. The cliffs directly across the street from the home ... Best. Place. For. A. Sunset. PERIOD. Incredible views. I adore this B&B and would recommend it to anyone visiting Copper Harbor. read more

Comfortable accommodations with a fantastic view of Lake Superior minutes from Copper Harbor. Lovely deck. Delicious breakfast with fellow guests. Ruth and Ole and Abe are warm, fun hosts. The pets are also enjoyable and sociable. The gardens in summer are amazing. The Devil's Washtub across the highway is a fun spot to explore. read more

Absolutely beautiful - the antique store is also a bed and breakfast! The grounds were wonderful with a view of Lake Superior and a group of miniature donkeys. They were wonderful hosts. They even shipped my hiking boots back to me after I absent-mindlessly left them behind. And last but not least the breakfast, Eggs Benedict, was the best I have ever had. read more

The upstairs is just okay, but the stuff you'll find in the basement is awesome! I've been there…read moreso many times when they have some really cool vintage pieces of furniture, oftentimes priced incredibly low. There's a vintage clothing section in the way back of the basement (seriously this is the best kind of thrifting) where I have found a vintage handbag and a vintage wool coat. Both of these items I get complements on All the Time. Honestly I brag about this place on the regular. It's like any other thrift store, sometimes you hit it on a good day, other times not so much. I go weekly. As for the poster comments on the staff, I've personally never experienced anything but decency. Can you really blame someone for wanting to leave work on time on a Saturday afternoon? Sheesh...

The carpet had obvious pee spots on it & could use a deep cleaning or better yet trade out the carpet for easy to clean flooring. It was somewhat unpleasant.
