I have been going to Prohealth for three months and give it high marks for Mobile. I agree with…read moreothers that the pool, high quality classes/teachers, friendly staff and clean facility make it a place compared to other gyms. There is plenty of parking and easily accessible location on the Infirmary campus. Two suggestions: 1. A bike rack - so people don't have to lock my bike to a hand railing 2. Longer Sunday hours - only 12-5pm right now.

There isn't a scratch on anything and the gym is in pristine condition. Not only is lighting is incredible, but she had all the machines you need, and all of them are top of the line. Will absolutely come back anytime I'm in town and would recommend this gym to absolutely anybody looking at getting started or a veteran steel thrower who wants a peaceful, no B.S gym where you can redline your body. Last note: Even after staying up for a few extra hours, owner only charged me $5 for a pass. There's zero excuse in my opinion to not try this gym out. Great kids program!…read more My 8 year old wanted to do cross fit and work out. I was super nervous at first and watched then like a hawk with a skeptic eye. Turns out, it's a great program. He attends a class averaging 8 or so. There is usually only about 5-6 at a time, but did get up to 12 kids a few times. There is the minimum of one trainer and he directs the kids thru a variety of age-appropriate activities. They start with stretches and warm ups. They use different types of equipment set that is set for their use during the class. This is a great place for my hyper child to expend some energy, learn proper techniques, get familiar and comfortable gym equipment and environment. This has been a great program while he is between sports.

After seeing an ad on social media and as someone who will try anything at least once, I was super…read moreexcited to try one of Crew Fitness' indoor rowing class. Crew Fitness will offer you your first class for free, which also made the decision to go even easier. The indoor rowing class alternates between rowing intervals on the rower and body-sculpting movements off of the rower. Each class is 45 min of a low impact, high intensity work out. I would compare it mostly to a spin class setting because lights are turned down while on the rowers, and the music is loud and energetic throughout the entirety of the class. What's also great is that classes at Crew Fitness are designed for everyone at all different fitness levels. Also, you can either book your classes online on their website, or download their app which is super convenient! For my first class I had Amy as my instructor. Amy also gave me a tour of the facility which included men's and women's showers and restrooms, a locker room area to place your belongings, and a child care room that is open during the morning and early afternoon class sessions. Weights, mats, and towels are also provided by Crew Fitness, so all you have to bring is yourself and some water! Amy was extremely helpful in showing me how to properly set myself up on the rower, and even went over some technique moves so I would feel more comfortable and understand some of the lingo before the class started. After participating in more classes with a variety of instructors, I've come to learn that the staff and instructors there are all super nice, supportive, and welcoming. There are 5 classes offered at different times of the day on Monday-Thursday, and 1 Saturday morning class every week. You can purchase class packages or participate in monthly class memberships. Some of the packages can be pricey if you're wanting to go often. On the low end, a single class is $20 and at the high end, an unlimited monthly membership will run you $150 a month. However, Crew Fitness is always running specials and deals that you can check out on their social media and website. And if you're like me and fall in love with Crew Fitness, a workout I can finally enjoy, it will be worth every penny! Lastly, another great thing I've enjoyed learning about Crew Fitness is their involvement in the Mobile community. Crew Fitness has been known to fundraise and row for local charities and help support and promote other local small businesses in the area. Whether you're trying to find a new workout routine or just add some variety to your current one, definitely check out Crew Fitness for a high-engery and full-body workout!

They were all so friendly and thoughtful that we felt right at home amidst the craziness of our evacuation. The workouts were tough but fun with a positive atmosphere, and we cannot say enough about the quality of people who run and work out at this gym. Best vibes of any crossfit gym we've ever been to. Also, the hours changing sucks. Some people work late and cant make it to the gym before 8 on the weekends. And then the employees hawking around you cleaning stuff up when theres still 20 minutes til close. Can totally tell the new ownership is just trying to suck every dollar out they possibly can by cutting hours & employees. And the energy totally reflects this. Hate to see it. Used to be my favorite place now it feels icky and half the time employees don't even greet or say have a good day
