First, the pharmacy - the pharmacists and staff are super friendly, helpful and professional. I've gone to three different places for COVID shots - a Rite Aid just north of Philly for the Patriarch, this Weis and another Rite Aid for the NMA (who has a qualifying health condition). By far, Weis pharmacists get top billing from us. Second, Lion LOVED the local and regional beer selections. He is a home brewer and this is his hobby. He was very impressed both times with the selection and the quality of the brews. Lastly, we did some shopping before our ride back both times. I was SO impressed with the quality and selection of the fruits and veggies, especially in the wintertime, everything was tasty and fresh. A couple more things: Very clean store! Gas pumps and an ATM right outside the store. I would go there again when we're back in the area, I'm thinking camping grocery stop before we arrive at Knoebel's once it's safe to do this again.

I understand if you can't get medicine, but at least attempt to give us accurate timelines. Both times we were told to come back at a specific date/time only for it not to be ready - twice. My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.

I called a family who I know are attached to their phones looking for requests. Nobody picked up. I text them, "Nobody picks up their phones ... No Wegmans for you!" My phone then blew up! I came home with fresh pineapple, chocolate chip & double chocolate muffins, AND ultimate chocolate chip cookies. There is so much to see, the variety of products , the freshness of seafood, meat and produce ... I spent two hours making selections. I was in my happy place. The apple doesn't fall from the tree. Stopped at my parents on the way home to share my bounty ... it was childlike wonder as I opened the 3 coolers and we oohed and aahed ... priceless.
