Jumped it, barely stayed running, sounded terrible. I said maybe its tbe ECU unit. Boss said " I don't think its your ECU" So, I ordered an ECU. When it shipped to me I took ot up there and changed it out, jumped my car, it fired right up. Here a week later...my car is spitting sputtering, misfiring...gotta be either spark plugs or fuel injectors. But I just had that done I THINK. Maybe they just hate me, or hate my car, or saw a female and tbought she was clueless. I dont get it. Google reviews are all awesome. I dont understand. My engine is probably the simplest thing in polk county. I'll work on my own stuff I guess. Cant trust ppl anymore. Sad.

I picked 3 of the auto repair shops that I knew approximately where they were located, and decided to do a drive by. The third shop on my list I decided to try. That facility is Harrell's Automotive, located at 2930 E. Main Street in Lakeland. I am a hot rodder at heart and when I saw what was parked in front of the building , plus what I saw inside convinced me this garage could fix anything. I was greeted at the door by Ramona one of the owner/managers. I was then introduced to Eddie the shop manager. Ramona gave me an honest estimate and an installation date. I couldn't be more pleased with the work Harrrell's did. Thank you for the excellent work at a fair price.

Not only was the customer service the best I have ever dealt with, with ANY business, but their prices were affordable, and the work was top of the line. Would rate zero if I could. I called to get a rough estimate on how long a headlight kit…read morereplacement would take and was met with smart responses like "let me check my crystal ball". Then the employee began berating me over the phone that I had called to ask that because he can't see the issue before I hung up. Now I understand things come up and any type of work can take longer than initially thought but I work every day and needed a rough idea of how long they normally take to know if I needed to take off of work, which i explained to the employee and made clear I was not asking for a price or a firm answer. This is my second experience here and it was enough to ruin it. I don't know how to fix a car, that's why I called a mechanic whose whole job is fixing the car, I don't expect to essentially be picked on by the employees.

They called when they were on the way. They diagnosed the problem, kept with their original quote (which was much lower than the other companies I spoke with), got the part, repaired the vehicle & it's been running fine. Zero stars. Horrible business practices and they steal money from their customers. 2 months ago…read moreMike from Mike & Ginas Mobile Mechanic LLC who worked together with another mechanic named Tim from The Auto Repair Guys agreed to change an engine for our Nissan and charged us $2k but they never finished the job. We called and texted Mike & Gina and several times as well as Tim and they said they will come back to finish and they never showed up. They have never come back and have completely stopped answering our calls and texts and have still not finished the job. How can a business steal from their customers and charge us $2k and completely run off and ignore all our calls and texts. We just want our money back and they are not responding to us. It's truly a shame that they do this to hardworking people that trust a mechanic to do a job and they completely disappear. I do not recommend this fraud business unless you want to get robbed.
