Outstanding enchiladas for an amazing price! We went to Danny's a little after dinner time and it wasn't too busy at all. We were able to get a table and service right away. Our wonderful waitress, brought us waters and let us know about the wonderful deal. Full plate of enchiladas for four dollars. So, we figured why not. We were pleasantly surprised with amazing enchiladas. Needless to say, the waitress got a great trip too. Keep making amazing affordable food, and we will be back for sure ! read more

Authentic Mexican food - They only had two ladies working. The manager stepped in & helped us super nice guy. The Corral Plate had chicken, steak, & sausage, rice / beans. Oh my freaking gosh this meal was amazing. The sausage gave the fajitas some flair! The beans were homemade & to die for. I highly recommend. Laredo is extremely expensive & the pricing at dannys was spot on for the amount of food. The cheese enchiladas - sauce was so yummy. They needed to be heated up a little more. Danny's was the first restaurant I visited during my stay in Laredo. I'm not used to having to speak or to be spoken to in Spanish, but I did pretty well. Thankfully the waitress was very nice and helped me when I lacked the correct words to explain what I want. I ordered Danny's Special Plate. By the way, the menu is in English, but you order in Spanish. Danny's Special Plate consists of fajita bits and grilled onion over rice with beans, guacamole salad, hot sauce, and corn tortillas. The food was good. Not the best Mexican food I have had, but it was good. read more

Like this place. The food was ok. The service was good. Will try something different next time. I had the mole enchiladas with rice and beans. The mole was a bit different in taste but not knocking that down. The beans were dry. I can tell it must had been put under a warmer or something to keep it warm while the rest of our order was being made.. other than that everything was good. Will go back when I visit Laredo again. Need to open one in the Dallas area, its booming out here. You guys would do great. I should have taken a picture of our food and added to Yelp. The waitress was incompetent and rude, even though she only said a few words. First, I asked her if the "Tlalpeno Soup" was like tortilla soup and she completely ignored me and continued to write on her pad. Then I asked for a "Carne guisada taco" and she had no idea what I was taking about, I had to show her a picture. They ran out of lemonade. I asked for lemons and she brought me limes. She then proceeded to roll my food out on a dish cart. Gross! Never refilled our drinks or even asked. The food was ok. -Chips were homemade. -Tortilla soup was good the only difference was a jalapeño and it needed more avacado. -Carne guisada taco was red and lacked gravy. IDK Maybe its me. Good food but bad customer service. Been here a couple of times and they seem not to have fixed it. We sat and nobody came to wait our table and had to flag somebody. Then after being served waitress disappeared and did not return to offer refills. Other Dannys offer better service but not this one. I dont im coming back. read more

Overpriced. I ordered for takeout and online the prices are less than the amount I was charged. That is deceiving and I do not tolerate it! I questioned the cashier and she told me, "le agregan algo mas por ser para llevar." I will not order from Danny's anymore. I am disappointed with the deception of their prices. read more

We came to try Danny's because of yelp reviews and we decided to order the chicken flautas plate and they were crispy and they had good amount of chicken in them and they tasted freshly homemade flautas and the sour cream and guacamole were also great! The rice was delicious and fluffy and the beans were good but they needed a little bit of salt. Our teas tasted fresh and was also delicious! We decided to try their breakfast tomorrow because we enjoyed our meal! I highly recommend this restaurant! The service was good and the ambiance was really nice! It was full of customers and we were served pretty fast, considering it was the lunchtime rush hour. read more

Experience starts with the waitress asking for drink orders and doesn't know what sparkling water is. Doesn't know English enough and is embarrassed and gets us a new waitress. I order flautus (extra long) and my wife got chicken enchiladas. The flautus were smaller than grocery flautus and it was just shredded boiled chicken in crispy shell with cheese and guacamole thrown on top. The French fries were obviously frozen as they were brought to the table soggy. And the salsa was watered down lightly shredded tomatoes with onions and maybe 5 sprigs of parsley. In all the light of encouraging words their rice was actually amazing and the food was filling and the Sprite was mixed well. Not worth the $25 plus tip for two. read more

Service was not great. Food was borderline warm. Waitress waited until our surrounding tables plates were ready before we were served our meals, because two trips are for......... Not once checked on us to see if food met expectations, much less for refills on drinks. Not that great of an experience. read more

Honestly? Misleading menu (got 1 taco insteaf of 3 like of the menu), warm instead of fresh food (the only good thing we had was the ham steak and even that was slightly warm :/), coffee was alittle too strong and i know Danny's can do betfer than this. I stopped this morning to have some breakfast here at this restaurant, one thing I notice right away is the fact that they tend to keep everything very consistent. I really enjoy their breakfast menu especially since they have what they call the Danny's special, which has 2 eggs prepared per your liking whether scrambled or sunny side up, 2 buttermilk pancakes, two strips of bacon and a sausage link. I have been to the other Danny's restaurant and the experience seems to be very similar, there have been a couple of times where the experience wasn't as perfect as it always is, however those Limited experiences will never deter me from enjoying Danny's authentic Mexican food.. Being Latino myself I speak both languages very fluently and there have been a couple of times where our waiter does not speak English but we speak Spanish so it works out. I highly recommend if you've never been to Danny's restaurant to give it a shot with as many times as I've been there I am most certain that your experience will be a pleasant one. read more

Great service. Chips & salsa at your table, constantly refilled. I would recommend the corral plate, Laredo plate, or cheese enchiladas.

I've been to other Danny's locations this was my first time coming to this one. The moment we walked in I knew something was wrong the waiter didn't speak English. The entire time he rushed us we could tell he wanted to get off of work already. We asked for some time to look at the menu all he did was stand there watching us, as if to say order already. After we got our food he never came back until he popped up out of nowhere, didn't say a word to us he just started picking up the plates. One of them I was still eating off of he started to take it then asked if he could take it. On his next trip to the table he said "can you pay the bill cause we are going to close the box". After that he proceeded to sit at a table and stare at us and to stare at the party of eight that was also finishing their meal. A few moments later they turned the lights off on everyone, where was the warning that they were even close to closing time, shouldn't that have come up at some time. Breakfast is awesome. I love the pancakes and tacos of mollejas. The staff is friendly, even if they don't speak English, and the food is served quick. Lunch specials are a real good deal too and it's good amount of food. read more
