I want to warn everyone that these mechanics are thieves and everyone should steer clear of them. They lie about time frames and they make up an issue that will get them the most money. They are money hungry and go back on their word and everything they say. Not to mention they also commit insurance fraud and they encourage their customers to do the same. If i wouldnt have to guve this place any stars i woukd guve 0. Its run by a couple of thieves ..i took my 2017 there as ibwas getting transmission errors on my car ..I was told that my transmission needed to be replaced and to buy an auto insurance policy for it and come back on a month nd it was fine to drive until then..I stupidly listened to them whej I called a mknth later they told me they would take the car for a few weeks and file with the insurance and fux my car within a few weeks..originally they had told me it wud be 2 days ..who the heck guves uo thier car for 2 weeks..th year is 2025 we don't wait 2 weeks for car reoairs..I was furious and took my car to the Honda dealer..they told me it wasn't the transmission it was the torque converter and if I continued driving my car it can break down at any point..theu repaired the car on 1 business day and I was on my way again..they told me it was super dangerous to drive the way it was and my wife had gotten stuck numerous times in 95 degree heat because of thwm..they wud have replaced the wrong part and it akk wud have been for nothing. I was on my way to a wedding rehearsal dinner when I got a flat tire on NY Route 86 just off exit 100. I was totally screwed. My car did not have a tire iron or jack. It only had that crappy emergency tire repair kit, which did not work. I could see Danny's Complete Auto Care from where I was broke down, so I decided to walk over. I was greeted by the friendliest staff I have ever encountered anywhere. Fortunately the shop had a tire that would fit my car. Danny's went above and beyond and I will be forever grateful for the help I received. I even made it to the rehearsal dinner on time! Thank you!! read more

After taking down my Son's foul review of this shop I decided to give another review of my own. First off the place is a nice family owned shop. A few things ruffled my feathers about my experience but overall most of what I ask for was done. I was planning another trip there but I'll pass and do the work myself. The owners Wife called me about my Son's review which had me baffled and seemed out of order but never offered to settle any of what the problem was. Like I said they're a cool shop and helped me when I needed it but not thorough and didnt seem to care much..and I paid in full..now this is my honest review. After getting my car serviced by a Volvo dealership last Wednesday, my car stalled on my way back home from Buffalo, NY. We almost got into a serious car accident, however we survived. GEICO, got us a tow to Danny's. Even though we didn't get our car fixed here. I have to say Danny and his wife are the best. Danny's wife guided us to get our car fixed close to home in NYC at a Napa Care Center and informed us of the intricacies or malfeasance of getting your car done by a dealership. The Volvo Dealership that messed up my car in the first place weren't trying to help me and actually avoided my calls. Kundert Volvo in Hasbrouck Heights NJ actually didn't pick up my calls until I called from my friends phone. They won't be getting our business ever and I highly suggest my friends to avoid them. Danny and his wife are awesome and they are ethical and professional people. I can't say enough other than they restored my belief in the automotive repair industry.
