I took my car to get a wheel alignment and waited almost two hours for them to say they couldn't do it. Very ghetto don't advise anybody to go to this place. I am a 16 year old girl and a fifty year old man knew that I was a minor and still proceeded to leave me a creepy note saying, "I'll ride your ass let me pull your hair". Top-notch service! - my 2004 Honda Element had exhaust leaks coming from spots - one before and one after the catalytic converter. Sherman's had it diagnosed and repaired in four hours! Insurance covers new parts, DO NOT take a used part off one of your scrapped vehicles, and put it on my car to save money. Once I had noticed that issues I mentioned it, they said they had nothing to compare it to. MAYBE LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE CAR???? Stupid. Ive worked in body repair for 8 years now, and all I've ever known is the automotive industry. I told them I knew what they were doing and they actually got defensive with me. Brand new Jetta, like I'm not gonna know what's right and wrong on MY car? When I did get everything settled, all I got was an incredibly sarcastic "I'm soooo sorry". I would give this place zero stars definitely. So my friend was running into money issues after having to pay for a family members funeral every penny she had went into making sure her aunt could Rest In Peace and family could say their last good byes. To make a long story short she got behind on bills including her car note. She brought her car to this shady place to have minor work done. She got a quote for the work but it was alil high so she decided to go elsewhere for cheaper. So these shady backyard mechanics must have gotten upset and all in their feelings and had her car repossessed without her knowledge. They kept that car for days giving bs excuses when the other mechanics came to get it " oh there's a car in the way and we can't get it out is what Sherman's great employee said. So they kept the car when she tried to have it towed out jus so they could call the repo. What kind of mechanic shop does that? I kno this one Sherman's who must be so desperate for money they will call repo on a customer. And don't be fooled they got a cut of turning that car in. So ppl I urge you please don't go here they are sneaky shady mechanics that are desperate for money that they will over charge by hundreds. Make sure you don't owe a car payment, insurance payment or inspection past due, shoot be sure your drivers license is good bc these low life's will try to profit off of you by sticking their nose in business that doesn't concern them in anyway. Honest, friendly and fantastic customer service! While driving from Connecticut to the new Kartrite resort in Monticello I began to experience my car stalling while stuck in traffic , then my check engine light came on . I have a someone newer car a 2013. I thought for sure it had to do with the fuel system. There was no way I was going to drive my car back to Connecticut without getting it serviced in New York , especially being six months pregnant and having my three-year-old with us. When calling my husband thought I sounded too desperate on the phone and that people were going to take advantage of me knowing that I had to have my car fixed before returning back home . I spoke with Scott the owner , he immediately made me feel like we were going to be taken care of and I would have nothing to worry about. He said " it's rare I get a car in here that is not out the same day " he also told me that his business would be able to pick me up if needed and bring me to the shop when my car was finished. I had AAA tow my car there a little after 10am and by noon my car was finished and the price was amazing! It was not the fuel system at all something I thought would cost me $600 plus ended up to be less than $200.They did everything they said and more . Thank you fore being honest good people . I don't know if I would have gotten the same treatment and service if I went anywhere else! I made it back to CT and my car runs like new again . read more

Realized my vehicle needed a alignment and everyone else required an appointment. As it was detrimental to get this knocked out today, I stopped by this location and recieved help immediately. The service manager had his mechanic test drive my vehicle pinpoint the deficiency and they began to solve the problem. While doing this, they identified the problem (which was not my alignment) and fixed it. The charges fell way short of my expectations and I left a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend this these guys not only because they met my standards, but exceeded as well. Looking from the outside in, it may come off as a backed up small time garage, but this is a prime example of why you should NEVER judge a book by its cover. This garage reflects what a true american garage was built on , this is not some jiffy lube or midas that hires bored high school kids during the summer whom would have leaving two lugs short on your wheels and grease on your steering wheel but consisted of old fashion mechanics who do the job right. No matter what carbed or fuel injected, old or new they fix it. You have earned my recommendation as well as 5 stars. Thank you guys! read more
