The most reasonably priced, reliable service! Located right down the steps from the Rosedale LIRR station. ROY is by far the best dispatcher. He is very precise and very professional! If he has no cars, he will let you know right away that he cannot get you at that moment. Other cabs services take the job then 30 mins later when you call back wondering where they are, they say that the cab is still on the way knowing that's a lie. I'm so sad to hear other people saying they have had such bad experiences. You guys must be speaking with dispatcher Sied. He sucks! Never the less, call with enough time for the cab to get you. Provide a phone number, they will give you an ETA, the price, then you'll get a call when the cab is outside...Simple. They can be a little pricey depending on what neck of the woods you're going to but at least they are a licensed TLC company. read more

The male dispatcher had a terrible attitude. He always answers the phone like he just woke up. Very similar to the woman who answers the phone for Rose N Dale. I wonder if they know each other... I just finished work and it was around 10pm. I told the dispatcher my phone might die so if it does, just meet me infront of the jcpenney doors at green acres mall. There is only one side of Jcpenney in the parking lot so the driver could not have been confused. I told him I'm the only lady here wearing a green shirt. The dispatcher says "well if I can't contact you, I can't send the car". Needless to say, my phone didn't die and the old beat vehicle arrived to pick me up shortly after our phone call. P.S. the dispatcher DID NOT call me. So what he said was complete b******. He just wanted to be smart. Too bad Uber will be running you out of business within the next few years. Worst dispatchers in the whole world! Very rude also. Always hanging up so quickly even when I'm still talking. They make up prices all the time. Every time I would call, they would say 15 mins, end up being 45mins. They give taxi drivers wrong adresses. Taxi drivers are rude also, they drive slow as heck, AND they don't have gps system some of them so you should provide that as well, if not your going to get lost. There always acting like they dont have change just so that they can make more money off of you. Taxi drivers wouldn't move when you get in the car unless you pay them 1st. I remember this one time this taxi driver guy yelled at me and boldly said, "Gimme di money!" Of course with an attitude. If I wasn't going to be late for school that day I would of gotten out and wait for another. I'm so glad a found another taxi service in the area. I'm going to JFK in a dirty taxi,I reserved the taxi night before, the dispatcher say, it's the only car they have at the time off pick up,when ask why this dirty car. Every time I use Danny taxi, is a disaster The cab driver didn't even step out the car, And driver don't know he's way from Rosedale to JFK, I left my house 5:30am and reach to terminal 2, at 6:15am. This car service is so unprofessional. I called to request a car to drop me not even ten minutes away from the base ( it was raining) and they said I had to wait 20 minutes. I said 20 minutes he's like I'm gonna check to see where the driver is and call you back. I'm still waiting on that call back! Worse better to use rosedale care service instead! Whenever I am leaving on a flight at either JFK or LaGuardia, I always use Danny's. You can call them the day before your flight and provide them with details, such as the time you wish to leave, airline, gate, etc. They'll even call you about 15-30 minutes before your scheduled pickup time as a courtesy. They charge a flat rate, which can be a gift and a curse. The current rate from Rosedale to LaGuardia is $36. When my wife and I took a regular yellow taxi from LaGuardia back to Rosedale upon returning, the meter rang us at $30. While Danny's may not be the cheapest, it is convenient. If you call them when you arrive to the airport, they'll even send a car to pick you up. Once again, pretty convenient, but we opted to try our luck with the yellow taxi and ended up saving $6. read more

I have given this car service ,so much of my service from Queens to Brooklyn every Sunday, using it each morning to get to the Lirr. This morning like all other I was not only cursed out but I was told never to call back (well that was a first) I was told no vehicles would be sent out to me after I expressed to the dispatcher his lack of professionalism and respect. This car service is beyond the worst service and the dispatchers are ALL disgusting and rude. The system as to getting a car isn't even pleasant. TERRIBLE!!!!!! This is my second time using this car service, i am currently in the car! The first time the driver told me the ac uses too much gas so he's not turning it on. This time, SAME DRIVER, pulls on with me in the car tells me he has to stop and get air for the front tire!! He was just sitting in the lot when i walked up! He should've gotten air! We went back to the base and switched cars!! Now my driver is currently talking on his cell phone on speaker in Chinese!!! I will never use this car service again! If I could give 0 stars I would I called today to have a cab to pick me up I got the same operator with a nasty attitude. Scream and said he don't have a car going there and hang up on me, I called bAck and he didn't answer I called back three times he finally answered and then yelled yes !! I said what do u mean you don't have cars there I use you guys many times to go out to Richmond hill he then stated he don't have any taxi cab drivers he's short I said well the proper thing to say is you don't have a cab driver available right now and tell me the exact time they'll Be ready to pick me up he got mad and hang up on me again. Most drivers are pretty good and respectful. But sometimes the person who answers the phone is rude and dismissive. He kept telling your car will be there in a little bit even though I waited 40-45 mins. The peraon who was speaking lacks customer service skills. And when I asked to speak to someone he questioned me and told me get in the car as I was walking towards the car. And then he hung up on me. Another thing was that he never told me that someone would be in the car especially being a young woman in a car with a grown man. Which for safety reasons, is not right. If it was up to me, he would be fired. I deal with people on a daily basis and treat them with respect. They say in customer service, the customer is always right. I am absolutely disgusted with the level of unprofessionalism with this company. I had used Danny's for many years until I noticed that their prices far exceeded every other local taxi company so I started using them as a last resort. In addition to overcharging, they've asked for payment upfront(insinuating they wouldn't have been paid at the destination), they've taken an hour past the confirmed pick up time to arrive and the kicker was when the cab pulled up as I was calling to cancel for taking entirely too long to arrive and the cab driver, in a THICK African accent, yells at me saying he should've charged ME $5 for even coming(to my location which was only 8minutes from the base) and that I should be BEATEN UP! I usually don't write reviews, but was compelled to do so. I called the service at 7:03pm to be picked up at the Hyundai dealership in Green Acres mall and to be taken to Guy R. Brewer and 140th Avenue - a 7 minute drive. Well after calling back 4 times (a total of 5 calls) I was finally picked up at 8:42pm!!!!! And to add insult to injury, when we arrived at my door the drive told me $20. At first I thought he was joking, as I have taken this service whenever I have dropped off my vehicle a the dealership and paid $12. When I called the dispatcher he also quoted $20!!! Well, not only did I have to wait an hour and 39 minutes, I was ripped off. Never again!!!! In the future dispatcher, tell the caller that you have no cars and let them make the decision to wait or move on. How unprofessional! read more

This car service is absolutely the worst. I am a regular customer (sadly because I know of no other taxi services in the area) However, They always screw me over. These past three days they have really infuriated me more then ever before. I have called 30 to 45 minutes before the time I needed to catch my LIRR train at rosedale. Despite my giving them all this extra time and the fact that I live less than a 10 minute drive away from them they gave me so many problems. If it was nice out id take the wall which is sort of long but not too bad. However it is freezing out. The first day they said they didn't have any cabs nearby and weren't even going to try to make it then hung up on me . The second day I called 35 minutes before my train the dispatcher sounded drunk and kept getting my address wrong. I had to call back 5 times before he even sent a taxi . When he did it was cutting it so close I just barely made my train. Today I called 45 minutes before my train ! He said he had no taxis near me but he'd try to make it. 25 minutes later I called back and he said he didn't try to even send anyone cause he wouldn't have made it. Then I asked him if they could take me to the valley stream station that I could have that train since it comes 45 minutes later and they said they still wouldn't make it . I'm so over them . I had to hop on a dollar van and take it to the train station to take a hour long trip that only would have taken me 35 minutes on the LIRR. I almost made it late to work relying on them . HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called to get a cab to take me home from the shop where my car was. The guy (Danny presumably) said it would take 10 minutes. I called when I didn't see the cab in the time and he said to wait. I called again after waiting for almost 20 minutes and he started YELLING at me "I sent the guy twice already how many times do you want me to send him?!" I said he did not call me to let me know that he was outside. He proceeds to yell at the top of his lungs that it's my responsibility to wait and look outside (in the freezing cold) for the cab driver to appear. Then when the cab driver finally comes I asked if it was his second time coming and he said no. Will never use again! read more

Driver was great, the person that answers the phone is not. I think his name is Syed. The guy has no clue how to speak to customers. I called at 1:40pm for a cab in half an hour. I was having an mri done and I couldn't keep my phone on me. I get out and there are 3 missed calls from the taxi service, all before the 30 minute window. I called back and syed was completely condescending and rude. He has no idea how to speak to customers. He kept saying "why didn't you pick up the phone?" Her moron how am I supposed to pick up the phone in an MRI machine? All the phone calls were before the 30 minute time frame I gave them. If youre going to show up early, before the customer is ready, don't cop an attitude and ask why you didn't pick up the phone. First time I used Dannys and it will definitely be the last. read more

I have to say that after 2 years of avoiding this car service, I am pleasantly surprised, I avoided them because the person who I spoke to was very rude and I felt dismissed before getting a price quote and I was being overcharged by the driver. After speaking to several people I put this cab on my avoid like the plague list. Fast forward 2 yrs later I went grocery shopping came out of the store got a call that my ride wasn't going to be able to make it ,im feeling desperate so I started asking passer bys for a cab number no one had one until this one lady gives me a number as im punching the numbers into my phone its coming up Danny's cab service, Im like hell no let me google something else everyone else was giving me the same headache and overpricing drama that I was expecting from Danny's, So I said let me give them one more shot I mean you see them everywhere right so they can't be that bad . Im so glad I called the guy who answered was so pleasant they quoted me a price that was below what others were charging came within minutes and my driver an( ex policeman )was so personable,and helpful. Since then I have called them several times and have recieved the same service they have won my business. The key to success in any business Is treating all of your customers with respect , and as long as they keep that up I will continue to do business with them. This is the rudest taxi service I have ever used in the world......do not use them. The taxi driver was rude and shouting at us and tried to double charge us because we shared a taxi.
