The many small shredded pieces added an unappetizing texture and too much moisture to my recipe; Crab quiche. So disappointed. I have 1/2 lb left of the 1 lb container, when I typically use 3/4 lb. Since I could tell the characteristics of the product were going to negatively influence the result of my recipe, I reduced the amount I normally use Not sure I want to use the rest. We got a dozen jumbos and BOY WERE THEY JUMBO. Every crab was quality. We also got a pound of large shrimp (on the smaller side) but still good meat quality and steamed with onions. As I stated usually I bought a bushel of crabs, and unfortunately, they were not up to the quality I have come to expect at this establishment. Again the crabs were light and hollow, and I could break the claws with my thumbs. This was particularly disappointing, as I had planned to treat my family to a crab feast, and the condition of the crabs did not meet the heavy, hard, and fresh quality that I have always associated with your store. When I called to discuss resolution I was hung up on. Then stated he would give me 25% discount on the next purchase. No comment on the loss of the waste of money. So I would Not recommend going there or buying any seafood from that establishment because it may be old.
