We had a sudden and major sewage problem due to a failure in our almost 100-year old home that had a rusted out cast iron refuse pipes. He even offered to come buy and give a second opinion for free - even though he knew another plumber was already on their way. The other plumber gave me a small estimate to put a collar on the one exposed piece of rusted out cast iron with numerous holes in it. George suggested that it might be good to go under the house before committing to any work. That was a game-changer. He did a thorough diagnosis of what the problems were and validated all of this with still pics and videos in real time that allowed me to actually see a number of leakage problems. Not just one. Since I had worked underneath our home on a number of occasions (although not in several years) I was more than knowledgeable about the plumbing layout. It was abundantly clear that we needed to update the entire system. He gave me what I consider to be a very fair estimate for the work. The price he quoted me was fair and especially given the magnitude of work that needed to be completed. After another company removed the sewage and soil, George and his crew were able to completely replace the entire drain piping for all of our bathrooms, toilets, shower, bathtub, clothes washers, and even discovered a clogged vertical drain line in the kitchen that they also replaced. Throughout the entire process he kept me informed multiple times a day - both before, during, and after all of the work was completed. Everything was tested to my satisfaction before making the final payment. I simply cannot thank George and his entire company for what they were able to accomplish in an emergency situation. You guys were a life safer and this incredibly professional crew showed up on time, worked several full days, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Please think twice about this plumber…read more SoCalGas said I have a slow gas leak, and in order to restore service, a plumber would have to test and fix the leak. Less than 5 minutes after Jose's arrival -- WITHOUT doing any testing ... or even looking at the hookups (water heater, dryer & stove), he said I would have to replace ALL my gas lines. This did not sound right. When I asked him why he wasn't going to test the lines, he said "they're all underground" and shrugged, as if this was the obvious answer. When I pushed back, he said he could "test the gas meter for leaks" pointing to the couplings on the meter. Again, this made no sense -- the gas company had just tested the meter, and years ago I had the same situation and a plumber did pressurized air testing and fixed a small leak. When I told Jose I knew for a fact that lines can be tested he immediately pivoted in his tracks, quickly mumbling, "You don't understand...I'm outta here." (Well, Jose, I understood very well what you were about. And, yes, you are outta here.) Needless to say, despite what he told me on the phone, Jose clearly had no capacity or expertise to test my gas lines. He hoped I was ignorant and uninformed (and desperate to get the gas turned back on). He clearly tried to dupe me into believing I needed to REPIPE all my gas lines. Totally reprehensible, unethical, opportunistic behavior. BEWARE.

I had yet another excellent experience with Brittany & Edwin this week!…read more I called Brittany at 8:15PM on a Tuesday night to report no hot water at my parents' house. 8:15PM!! She was as warm & efficient as always, & scheduled Edwin for the next day. As I expected, my parents' 30yo water heater was toast. Edwin came out the very next day, removed a heavy wood door that was blocking access, replaced the old water heater with a new one, & then re hung the heavy door perfectly.
