If you live in chino hills you already know how old our houses are. And with that age, our water…read morepressure regulator, main shut off, and spigot all failed. One yelp inquiry later within minutes, Cori and his team sent out Jason to help us out the next day (as we requested). We were given a window of 11 am - 1 pm and for the first time I've ever been given a window of arrival, Jason showed up promptly at 11 am. He went to work on inspection, giving recommendations, and then replacing the entire trifecta. We ran into some hiccups along the way where some pipe was dented from age and needed to be replaced and that was taken care of swiftly. We also have a napping newborn and he was miraculously able to sleep through the work and Jason was kind enough to work gently during the naps. After the job was done we chatted for a bit and he was on his way. Later that night I did notice a small leak coming from one of the couplings and Jason quickly returned the same night to fix the issue despite it being late. I even said we could wait until tomorrow but he insisted on getting to fixed. A quick fix later, all was well. I have working water pressure throughout the house and no more leaks. The wife and baby are very happy. Thank you to Jason for all the help and a huge thank you to Sonia for coordinating all this!! She was super quick on communication and was always patient and empathetic. And thank you to Cori for being on standby to support us through tonight. I firmly standby supporting your local businesses as they truly mold a community and help foster growth. So please don't hesitate to try and contact these fine people. I look forward to working with you all again should the dreaded day I have plumbing needs arise again

Tech went as scheduled and told me he did a quick check at the unit and then to the electrical panel. And said now if he needs to go into diagnosis, it will cost $175 , and either he can fix it OR that $175 will be used to swap a new unit at $4xx. Since I'm remote, I can only agree to it to move forward. 10mins later, got a call from the tech saying, "there are good and bad news! Good news, the unit was indeed completely fine and it's working alright. The unit was slightly "UNPLUGGED" from the outlet and it works perfectly after I plugged it back in. Bad news, the $175 is due. " I appreciate that the "diagnosis" save me hundreds instead of replacing a fully working unit, but I would have thought the first free initial check should have looked at the connection in the first place. Definitely feel a bit rip off BUT they did give me a small discount in the end. I'm not expecting free work BUT $150 to get someone out to plug it back in? Is that the norm?

We're glad we went with a company that specializes in water heaters; i highly recommend. Marc was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough helping us make our tailored choices. Again we are very satisfied with our Water Heater Company experience. Thank you to all of the team. DAB

The water heater company is able to schedule me for the earliest available appointment this morning, which I really appreciated. Daniel was absolutely wonderful--very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the problem and even helped contact Noritz to check whether my water heater was still under warranty. He clearly explained the available solutions and helped me choose the best option. He did an outstanding job and was patient taking the time to answer all of my questions. Later after, when my husband came back home, he explained everything thoroughly again to my husband. I truly appreciate his professionalism and excellent customer service throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend the company to any of my friends or anyone who needs plumbing services.

The highest praise for Steve's 5 Star Service! I'm absolutely astonished with their service and so…read morehappy I chose this company to handle my HVAC replacement. They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. They are the nicest group of people I've ever hired. True to their word, take great pride in their work, take respectful care of their customers and provide easy breezey service. Shout out to the wonderful team that assist me on this project: Angel Perez, Jon Neves, Brad, Javier and The Purple Crane. Thank you thank you! I cannot thank you all enough! It was a pleasure working with you. Breana Cumberland Smith Chino, CA

I'd purchased a replacement for another house years ago so just needed it installed. $398 for install only. Job took less than an hour. I did it because I didn't have a lot of time to get it done. What I appreciated most was that they were honest, fair, and never pushy. They gave me their recommendations and pricing, but also made it clear that if I wanted to wait on something I had asked about, that was completely fine. There was no pressure to move forward just for the sake of making a sale. Honesty and communication are two of the things I value most when working with a contractor, and Alpine Plumbing delivered on both. I really appreciated their professionalism and straightforward approach and would definitely recommend them.

Herb made the entire process and assessment so easy, and he found the problem within just 5 minutes. We're already planning to use Alpine for a full plumbing and AC renovation on our home, and we're looking forward to being lifelong customers. Couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend Herb and this team to anyone who needs an honest, skilled plumber.

HVAC gone rogue? You could do worse than to get an estimate from The N-Gen. We'll keep them on speed dial while keeping their last names private in the review photos. On August 3, 2026, I contacted customer service and spoke with Veronica, who asked for time to review my account and concerns. On August 18, I spoke with Joseph, who informed me that Veronica was unavailable but said he would send her another message regarding my concerns. Later that day, I finally received a text message from Veronica stating that she would escalate the matter as "urgent." Today is August 25, 2026--22 days after my initial call--and I still have not received a phone call from Veronica or anyone in management. I have now been told that there is supposedly an email addressing my concerns, yet no one has had the professional courtesy to contact me directly to discuss the situation or provide a resolution. For a customer who invested approximately $15,000 in a new system, this level of communication and customer service is extremely disappointing. I should not have to repeatedly follow up for more than three weeks simply to have my concerns acknowledged and addressed by management.
