We've been to a few dance studios and found Gaelle's and Cliford's instruction added a different element in the way they teach there. The method of clapping and counting that they had us do, helped a dance step click in my mind! Also, they are very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The only improvement I would suggest, for a dance lesson, is the mirrors could be a bit bigger, so students can, more easily, see themselves and the teacher. However, this did not affect the social at all.

This may be exhausting for some, but if you are a person passionate about dancing, too many dance classes is always a good thing. I think these are great classes for beginners. All in all, it was a good experience.

We didn't sign up for the package that night, only because we didn't want to commit with so many thing going on and our time crunch but we discussed going back for sure! I highly recommend this dance center.

We initially went to an introductory group class, led by our awesome instructor Shirley. I learned the basics of the Waltz and the Hustle. Shirley made it super easy. The class was... dare I say it... fun! But, I'm not a dancer. My wife and I decided to take some private lessons with Shirley. She's really great at making you feel comfortable out of your comfort zone. She challenges you but keeps the lessons really fun. She sees every little misstep and mistakes. Nothing gets by her. But she truly makes it fun and that hour goes by so quick! Thanks to Shirley and the staff, I'm proud to say, I'm a dancer now. Well, maybe that's a bit of a stretch. I enjoy dancing at least. Anyhow, if you've ever thought about dancing but thought it's too hard to learn, Stop by one of their group classes. The first class is free btw. You are guaranteed to have fun learning. Thanks again Shirley! We will be back!

If you're dancing for other reasons than exponential growth then you're in the wrong place. I met the owner Uwem while I was traveling to train for dancing in Milan. He took a group of his students to train as well; that showed that he cares about making his students better dancers. The environment at Prestige Dance Company definitely feels like a family: Uwem takes time to get to know his students and organizes outings for all of his students to go and practice social dancing. He also takes it a step further and makes sure that he dances with all of his students at the events as well. The reason that I highly recommend Prestige is because Uwem balances the classes equally between shines and partner work and he challenges us as dancers in every class and every practice if on a team. Additionally, he has produced dancers who are now professionals in the Salsa world and that is very remarkable of his school.

I stepped away for a few moments as this was taking some time to do. I was called back to the office and presented with a fraudulent document with my son's PII that says there was already proof of a passed test from earlier, just under the wrong SSN? At that point, they should have refunded my money and given me better guidance on how to proceed with the Florida DHSMV, but rather, they pushed my son into ANOTHER test, without the promised review time, and promptly failed him. I informed the woman up front (Hispanic middle-aged female) hat this was not a very good business practice. She became very indignant with me and speaking over me in Spanish (which I also speak) to her other co-workers and proceeded to inform an off-site manager at the other location of this situation. I asked for her name, and she refused to give it to me. Soon after, I received another phone call on my cell phone from 305-974-5045. The man on the other line, in broken English, said he was the Manager at the Miami Lakes location and proceed to argue with me for over 5 minutes. He rudely implied that this was entirely my fault and my son did not deserve to drive. Meanwhile, my son was pulled back in for the promised 1 hour and 45-minute video training but was dismissed by the "instructors" because they wanted to close early. I took my son and left the premises without this being properly resolved at approximately 5:50 pm yesterday. I reported this behavior on the Square app as well. All they did was misleading and condescending behavior toward my son and I. I'm reporting this "agency" to the Florida DHSMV and my bank and will dispute this charge when it reconciles. Parents: DO NOT, say again, DO NOT use this agency to get your kids their learner's permits or driver's licenses.
