After her appointment and blood work yesterday, he felt she has appendicitis and needed to be seen ASAP. I live in the Bay area and had no way to get her to Roseville emergency over 2 hours from me. I did not want to use Lyft or a taxi as they would not help her in and out of the car and not be the caring ride I would hope for. Besides she does not have an iPhone to use the app. In Sacramento, I have a nephew but he was working and lives in Elk Grove. He does not drive, legally blind. My niece is a single mother to 3 little girls and a college student, as well as care giver to her mom. She was not able to help either. I was about to give up and drive the 2 hours so that I could take her to ER. I had an idea to look for non emergency transport for medical, thinking that would be a good way to go. Found out really quick they are EXPENSIVE! Mom is on a fixed income and I am certainly not rich. I supplement her as it is currently. Money is tight. I read a few reviews and saw Hands of Grace and thought ...okay this is the person to call. Don't know why, but this was the one that I called. OMG, am I glad I did! Jason Daniel answered the phone. He was kind, caring, understanding, helpful. I asked, waiting for the big number, how much it would cost to get her to Roseville emergency, he asked how much we could afford, really? Are you serious? That is unheard of in todays world. What an incredible person, even willing to trust that I will send him a check to pay the fee. Amazing human. This is who you want to transport your loved ones. Someone with a heart, with compassion for his fellow human beings. Someone that actually cares. I will recommend him to anyone I know in the area. Please use his service when you are in need. Keep him in business, we need people like him. I cannot speak highly enough for this man. I don't think you will ever be sorry you called him to help you out or your loved one out. He will be the first person I call in the future for my mom to go to her medical appointments. Call him, he is the right person for your transportation needs. So kind. I am updating the review, because of the misunderstanding that they also contract with Honors Home Health ..who provides the staffing. Cheryl will go above and beyond when situations happen, and I felt bad because she works hard and does a great job with setting up her clients. Our unfortunate incident, hopefully will help any future families to not have to go through with what happened to us. It doesn't solve our problem, and now I will have to start the process all over again. 12/4/2021 I really, really wanted this to work out.. My two son's needed some caregiver relief, and was really counting on the care... Unfortunately, we set up a schedule for coverage, of Friday-Sunday... The previous weekend of Saturday and Sunday was covered... (they couldn't find anyone for Friday's shift) ... Yesterday, received a text an hour before the shift saying the caregiver would not be coming... Ughhhhhh...so my son's had to rearrange their schedule to come back and watch their dad who has brain cancer-GBM... We questioned if we were going to have coverage for today, and they said they were working on it. Later in the evening, received a text that we do have coverage.. My oldest had plans to travel to the Bay Area for a birthday celebration, while the youngest was scheduled to work.. An hour before we received another text saying no caregiver!!.... I cancelled the contract as of today, and now my son's are changing their plans again because of this mishap... Cheryl was great in helping us with the intake papers, and also mentioned that if we committed, we would have a better chance of getting the same caregiver.. Of course there is a shortage of workers, but still this does not help us with our situation. corre

They provide options for the amount and type of coverage needed by their clients and the client's families. My mother had long term care insurance. ARCC caregivers filled out paperwork daily for documenting the care needed and delivered; these documents are provided to insurance companies for reimbursements. The staff at the ARCC offices is great at communicating any issues that they feel is pertinent to their client's health and wellbeing.

Caregivers of Land Park's wonderful caregivers have demonstrated all three! We contracted with Michelle and CGOLP several months ago when I could no longer give mom all the care she needed as her medical issues progressed. Michelle hand-picked Martha and Claudia for mom and they were so wonderful! Super different in personalities, but both a great fit for mom and quickly developed a sense of rapport and trust with her, as she got used to needing care from people other than me. Our need for care increased, and Michelle and Martha in particular worked hard to accommodate our every request. We had a few bumps here and there as you would expect with any company where you are changing schedules on a regular basis, but it's always worked out and Michelle goes above and beyond, in my opinion, to accommodate and help families. We started needing some 24-hour care so we could get away on some respite vacation time and extra caregivers were brought in. Again, a few little bumps, and one in particular not quite as mature as the others, but I believe that they all helped mom to the best of their abilities and clearly wanted us all to be happy with their care. It put our minds at ease and we were able to relax and get renewed. Now that mom has transitioned to assisted living, we so value the relationship that she has built with Martha in particular, that we are continuing to request her twice or three times a week to help her with the transition and be our "eyes" and "ears." When we go out of town on vacation, this relationship will particularly be helpful for us, as Martha is a wonderful communicator and responds promptly to any questions or issues we have.
