I knew that the tooth could use a crown but might not have to have one if there was no decay under the remainder of the existing filling. I intentionally sought out a smaller practice with conservatives signage. This office is right across from the post office and I just walked in and inquired. Nothing fancy but I wasn't looking for fancy. I was looking for unpretentious and non-greedy quality care. Many practitioners now consider pushing the most expensive options on patients as quality care because after all aren't they helping them prevent any possible surprises? But I don't choose to drive around in an armored tank and not every tooth needs to be crowned that has a large filling. In fact, the filling that lost a piece had been in there for 30 years and the tooth could've used a crown at that time. The difference in price of the filling and the crown is several hundreds of dollars. Getting dental work done is never lots of fun but Dr. Atchenson was gentle and it was painless dentistry. He and his staff did a great job at a fair price and I'm greatly appreciative.

Other dentists in my past have had trouble finding the right place to numb me for work in a specific area. After having 4 previously worked on teeth redone, I can say that I never been numbed so quickly and accurately EVER before. It made for very quick work and a much shorter time in the chair. Staff are so helpful, happy and friendly, I actually look forward to seeing them!

Ashley answered a million questions for me on the phone, more than once, with grace and patience; my concerns/requests we discussed were passed on to those who needed to know. Billing was discussed at scheduling and done prior to surgery so there were no surprises and no stress. Because my son had so many extra wisdom teeth, our dentist recommended Dr. Jerman. I recognized the name as last year he had done a surgery that went so well for my brother. My son's surgery went just as well- minimal bleeding and nearly zero pain. He sent us home with both verbal and written instructions which included the office phone number and his personal number in case of after hours questions or problems. Dr. Jerman called the 2nd evening to check on things and again offered his number. My son and I both highly recommend Dr. Jerman and his team. The team put me at ease before the visit and him at ease in the chair. Even for having 7 teeth pulled- it was a very positive experience.

Came here by recommendation of our primary care doctor because of a growth in my husband's mouth…read more Dr. Shepherd was very reassuring and confident in what was going on. Unfortunately he has to have a pretty entailed surgery but we feel comfortable with his plan for him to remove it and preserve the teeth. The office is new and modern with very friendly staff that made us feel comfortable. He's a young doctor that made us feel like we're in good hands. Getting our consultation took about a week and scheduling surgery was less than a week. I'm writing this as we wait for him to come out of his procedure so if necessary I can update my review but so far so good!!
